Boscos has excellent microbrew draft beer that is housed in an pleasant, spacious environment. Their Flaming Stone is a particularly outstanding lighter color, lower IBU beer, and you should try it no matter your typical beer preferences. For darker stuff, their stout and imperial stout stand out. Midtown Brown is a pretty good nut-brown style beer. Their seasonal and casked beers are very hit-and-miss. I have had undrinkable beers (mint chocolate stout comes to mind...I probably deserve it for even ordering that). It is among the most comfortable places to relax with a pint I entire city, and its a great place for groups. Pay attention to Pint Night, which slashes the price of their beer considerably. During the right season, the patio is an absolutely perfect location to grab a drink post-dinner. The food is tasty but overly expensive for the quality and quantity. Their pizza in particular gets smaller every year. That said, food is quite good for upscale bar room American fare. Burger is good. Pork chop with BBQ sauce and Brussels is very good but pricy. You should try the lobster pizza, which is absolutely fantastic. The food is usually okay, but it feels too expensive for what you get.

Went for Sunday brunch with a friend. They had a live band which was awesome, I think that was the best part of the experience. We ordered a Bellini and a margarita, both good. I ordered the shrimp, black bean, and chorizo omelette which was good but didnt have much flavor except for the chorizo bits. My friend ordered shrimp and grits and was completely disappointed! Who boils shrimp? Boscos does. Plus it looked like they dumped a whole bottle of paprika on top for their "garnish". Waitress was uninterested in the fact that she literally took one bite and didnt touch the rest of the meal. Probably ignored it so she wouldnt have to refund anything, which we didnt ask for. We split a creme brule which was good, but not the best Ive had. Overall it was really a ho hum experience but the music saved it.

Our server was Caroline. Unfortunately it was not the greatest experience. While she was polite she was dull and had no personality. She seemed to be there just to do the job and go thru the motions. My pizza was good (buffalo chicken pjzza) my wifes was extremely bland and had no flavor ( palermo) . It took awhile to get refills and when they were brought she left the empty glasses on the table. It was a small bistro table to begin with so it made it crowded. Theres room for improvement. Im not writing it off just yet. Its definitely worth a try. Also while sitting and waiting for our check we noticed they were allowing children to sit at the bar Ive posted a pic of it. This definitely changes things.

We went for the Sunday Jazz Brunch and the food was mediocre at best. There were many discrepancies between the posted menu online and the one we were given. This discrepancy led to me inadvertently ordering an omelette based on the online menu and receiving something I did not like. I pointed this out to the waitress who although did get the kitchen to make me a new one, very rudely brought the paper menu over to me and made a show of proving that she was right in front of my entire party. Even the corrected omelette was barely edible and I did not appreciate being embarrassed because they cannot be bothered to post a correct menu.

My husband and I lived just a few blocks away and frequented Bosco’s regularly. We truly enjoyed it, my favorite was the Asian Chicken Salad which is goodly sized and has lots of pickled ginger. My husband really enjoyed the Bosco’s Burger, which is just a normal burger really well prepared. We both really enjoyed the pizzas particularly the pollo diablo. No review of Bosco’s would be complete without talking about beer! Bosco’s Beer is pretty good and very reliable. Their specials are consistently good. Note, if you are a local get a beer police card. It gives you 10 dollars back for every 100 you spend.

Very bad experience. Sunday evening, 6-ish, place not busy, no waiting, i got seated immediately. So far so good. Looking forward to pizza and a beer. I sat, and sat, and sat, about 10 minutes. Nothing. No server. Not so much as "be with you in a minute"... completely ignored. A couple at the next table, seated a few minutes after me, are looking around too, wondering whats going on. I walked out. Too many other choices around Overton Square to put up with this. Ive been to Boscos a couple of other times and liked it, but theyre off my list now. Goodbye.

Nice ambiance and wonderful service, but the Sunday brunch food was very disappointing. We ordered a latte and a mocha and were served coffee with milk instead of an espresso-based drink. (We asked our waiter, who confirmed our suspicion.) Our orange juice was a glass of mostly ice and very little, largely watered-down juice. Our Eggs Benedict came with the yolks broken and cooked to the point of hardness. The jazz combo was great, so Im guessing that the place stays in business from music/ambiance lovers, not food lovers.

I love it here! Great Microbrewery with friendly knowledgeable bartenders and a friendly wait staff. All the food is delicious...you dont have to be a foodie to enjoy it, but a foodie would definitely appreciate it, and the wine list is vast and very reasonably priced. The lnch here is a good time to try it out because there is never a large crowd and they serve a smaller version of the dinner menu instead of a different menu altogether. I really have only great things to say about this place.

I used to work for the corporate office for a total of 9 years...had to turn them in to the proper agencies...they hire illegals, dont report all income, only give raises to employees they are friends with, avoid workers comp claims because employees cant pass a drug test, the owners get wine from the restaurant so they dont have to pay liquor taxes, they get their food from there also so they dont have to pay Tennessee sales tax...the list goes on and on....I HATE THEIR FOOD ALSO !!!

Our family went to Awful Boscos Squared on 23 Aug at 1245 for Sunday brunch, and it was just plain AWFUL, HORRIBLE and a waste. Two orders were wrong, one was cold (Fridge Cold) and the excuse was they were busy. 2 hours later, $115.00 lighter and BAD BRUNCH experience. Service and food has to be piss poor for me to write a review, this one deserves it. Eat at your own risk and I only wish I saw the reviews instead of listening to my wife. , Even the to go boxes were bad....

As much like the proverbial English local as any around. Great ale, terrific service, good food. And, pleasant, welcoming surroundings. We always have a great time. Really enjoy sitting out doors in clement weather, by the pizza oven in winter, or at a nice table with a bunch of folks. They accommodated 16 of us on a Saturday evening with just an hours notice! Their Asian chicken salad is great, all their pizzas are very good.

A wide variety of food and beer. The lightly fried artichoke hearts are to die for. The pizza is original and super tasty! If I could afford to go out to eat all the time Id be a regular and the staff would know me by name. Try the beer sampler if you like different flavors in your beer. I also love the crowd that hangs out at Boscos. Very down-to-earth and out to have a good time. Same for the staff. Excellent and unique.
