Beware of the Tap Room. The bar staff and bouncers are out of control. A friend of ours just had the s^%$ beaten out of him by the bouncer there for no reason. The female bartender told the bouncer that a guy at the bar had said something inappropriate to her and pointed at several groups of guys who were standing by the bar. Without verifying the identity of the person, the stupid bouncer pulled our friend out of the bar and proceeded to beat him unconscious and knock all the teeth out of his head. His medical bills are enormous. Only afterwards did the bouncer find out that he had pulled the wrong guy out of the bar. And, somehow all the video surveillance tapes at the Columbia Tap Room have disappeared... We are encouraging our friend, who is expecting his first child and facing huge medical bills, to sue the Tap Room. Surely, the owners of this establishment should be responsible for the people they hire. We will not go to the Tap Room again. Consider yourself warned. Getting a decent burger and a glass of beer is not worth supporting this sort of establishment. A wine bar in Mandeville went out of business after a similar incident where a man beat a woman. This one however has been majorly hushed up. Why?

They charged me a $1 authorization fee then an $18 charge. So that night I didnt think nothing about it. I left a $5 tip so instead of seeing those previous charges drop an a $24 charge they charged me an additional $24 so I was charged 3 times for a total of $43 .. I had to file a claim with my bank. Dont trust these bartenders they are thiefs. This was the brunette that did this Saturday night (7/15/17)

Nice place to hang out. Food is reasonably-priced but wildly inconsistent. On Tuesday, the hamburger will be great. On Wednesday, the hamburger will come with a bun two sizes too small. A traditional club sandwich on toast one day, a heated one with gravy the next. You never quite know what youre going to get. Gumbo is fairly safe, though.

They have a huge selection of beers, prices werent that bad. Their food menu, however, was kind of slim. I got a burger but it wasnt amazing. Patio is beautiful but dont sit out there unless you want to deal with the cigarette smoke.

Its the "Cheers" of Historic Downtown Covington!! Great local crowd and there is always someone you know there, Food is always consistent and delicious. Keep an eye out, you just might see a celebrity there.

Great atmosphere and local live music makes this place a locals favorite. They also have a full menu of burgers, wraps and daily specials to help fill you up as you sample the numerous brands of beers on tap.

Was very disappointed with the back of the house service was here for over an hour after getting the wrong orders and having them fix it. Front of house service was awesome very prompt and friendly.

Beers are cold, staff is awesome, and the food is great! Live music nights are great for dancing. Cant ask for much more in a bar. Great place!
