In the past I have loved this place. If I am in a hurry it is a solid quality food, good variety, and decent service (they dont say much, but they keep my glass filled and take away old plates.) Yesterday changed all that. Normally when I go I am either by myself or with another adult, yesterday I had my family. We come in and are being seated and my three year old tries to take silverware of the table next to where our "hostess" is attempting to seat us, she tells him "no your table is here" ...perfectly reasonable. Then she screams it at him as I am picking him up to place him in the booth. "YOUR TABLE IS HERE" I figure that was a little overkill but hey I have kids and I get wanting to scream at them...then she walks away cursing in Cantonese and grumbling. Hey lady, i might not speak Cantonese, but I can curse in 20+ languages and I Google translate with the best of them. But hey, I dont go to a buffet for the service, right? So we continue with our meal and for the first time ever I encounter what the other reviewers have recently said, The Sentinel of the Buffet. She stands at maybe 52" and is posted in front of the buffet and is staring arms crossed at my family, for me this means fun times are about to be had. I begin to walm back in forthe in front of her as I criss Cross the buffet in search of that tasty morsel and she stands still as a the terracotta warrior that she is. Silently evaluating every plate that passes beneath her gaze. Then it happens...I am at the Sushi/Mongolian BBQ table when right by the sushi I see a ROACH, a big glistening COCKROACH right by the raw food. I blink, clearing my vision assuming I imagine it and it is gone. I say nothing and return to the table not believing this could be true. Moments later my wife returns laden with once was tasty goodness with a frozen look of horror on her face, she too has encountered the roach by the raw food. Ladies and gentlemen, i am a realist, i do not expect restaurants to be pristine. I am no fool, but for gods-sakes, keep the roaches of the buffet and away from the raw food. Roaches are an indicator of other problems, in this case the problem of a health inspector dropping by tomorrow....Fair Warning

Felt like walking on egg shells when getting food. They watched me like a hawk. I was paying for a buffet "all u can eat" but had a plate taken away from me when told "it costs extra for certain things". The server walked up to me and asked if I was "going to eat THAT" and my response was ummm yeeees. Then they proceeded to tell me extra costs for certain things!...lol...so I told them NO I am not going to eat it. then there were RULES on if u leave any extra piece of sushi on your plate YOU WILL BE CHARGED EXTRA!!! And also the icecream, there is a rule on not finishing your icecream in the restaurant you will be charged $1.00 extra if you want to take it out and finish it! LOL!!! Food was typical chinese buffet food, not great but decent variety. The manager watched every move me and my family made, was VERY creepy to be watched while selecting your food and watched to see if your going to break any rules. I will NEVER EVER EVER GO BACK!! The positive reviews I read when selecting this restaurant MUST be from friends and all their employees and NOT from REAL customers like me. No Way there r as many good reviews. 1st buffet I have ever been to and been watched like a hawk and have servers take food away because it costs extra and all the rule. I went to this place because it was an "all u can eat" restaurant. I did not know it was a selective cost by item buffet!!! Oh ALSO with RULES!! What a scam!

For $25 for 2 people, heres what we got: drinks, no refills ($1.45 each), very watered down. Buffet dinner, when a lot of the food was somewhere between eh... and ok; none really good but nothing that we tried was awful. The "service" consisted of bringing us drinks and then little else other than taking our plates and frequently peering at us from 10 feet away in hopes of giving us a refill. As soon as we got desert the waiter brought our check (not that we had to stop, but since it is a buffet the assumption was a tad annoying). The desert was probably the worst of the food that we took, having no flavor for the most part and not feeling too fresh either. When we were ready to leave the waiter actually checked the tip before we left the table, right where we could see him doing so. This was our first visit and there wont be another.

I am typing this 8 hours after eating there so i could make sure i wasnt letting my frustration influence my review. Worst service I have ever had. I went today around lunch time and the long black haired Asian lady was extremely pushy. She brought my check and as my friend and I finished eating I got up to go pay at the cash register and she runs over and says Ill do it. The way she did this was as if she thought Id run out the door not paying. Then she brings back my card and receipt and forces me to sign and do tip while she watched...... she doesnt say thank you as Im leaving so I say VERY LOUDLY youre welcome! If you want amazing hot and sour soup that was good and the sweet and sour sauce was brilliant. Sushi tasted pre frozen, pineapple was sour, general chicken was burnt. Overall not good for a 30 dollar meal for two.

I didnt like it. The food was decent but the service was not good. My dad got crab legs but didnt see you had to pay. So this lady that worked there followed my dad back to the table and acted like she wasnt following him. Once my dad got to the table she said are you going to eat the crab legs?! Then she said something that we didnt understand. So she got a plate and took it and PUT IT BACK WHERE THE OTHER CRAB LEGS WERE AND THE OTHER FOOD WAS! I was thinking why do they call this the #1 China buffet? Then I was going to go and get more food and they where hawk eyeing me and Im like STOP! They followed us to the table and would take plates. I really dont like them because they have like rules! Im never ever going back there again!

l love their food and they have great prices! If you cant afford 20 dollars for two people maybe you shouldnt eat out at all you need to be saving money. Servers work for free and your tip is all they get so dont waste their time if you can help it. As far as their service its very reasonable. They do hover sometimes but they are just protecting their business. If you enjoy good food and are not a nazi expecting to be worshiped like a king then this is a good place to eat. If you are the type that complains all the time and want free food with ever meal, and you never leave a tip over 2 dollars then this may not be the place for you
