Ive been a semi-regular customer of Jade Palace for a few years now. Its ok, and the main reason I go back is because theres no other close Chinese buffet. (though there are much better Chinese restaurants in the vicinity, they just cost more - I recommend House of Chan or Chin Chin, both very close to this, for that kind of experience) Food: Decent variety, decent taste. Its Americanized Chinese thats a bit greasy, which is what you generally expect at a Chinese buffet. Not much in the realm of healthy eating options, though they do have some fresh fruit and a couple veggie options, but again its a Chinese buffet so thats within expectations. The sushi buffet is slightly above average for one youd find in a Chinese buffet, but only during lunch hours when its relatively fresh. I havent had the Mongolian grill, but theyve always had it even after having remodeled a bit, so I guess its popular enough for them to keep a guy around to man it. Cost: Youll get out spending less than $10 for lunch, but youll pay more for dinner. Id say the lunch is worth it but the dinner isnt. Theres some difference in whats served during those times, but it isnt enough to make it worth it for the dinner price. Go for lunch only - cheaper and the food is fresher. Cleanliness: Its pretty clean. My table is always clean when I get there, and the plate on my table are always cleared when I go to the buffet to get another plate. Ill also note that this place has never made me sick. (aside from the feeling of having eaten too much greasy food) Atmosphere: Decorated nicely for the level of cuisine. HD tvs on both sides of the main dining area, usually on the news channels. During the busy hours there are lots of people, can be a bit noisy due to kids.

Great for takeout buffet but terrible dine in experience. Ive been going here for the last 7 years only as take out which has been great. Love the selection of food. Even though I wish it could stay consistent. They had some mini steaks at one time that was delicious and then just stopped serving it. But I decided to dine in for the first time. The greeter was insanely rude. I asked to be seated on the buffet side. She walked me over to the other side. While walking I again told her I would prefer the buffet booth seats. She points at the table in the wrong side saying this is available. I asked if she could at least check if a booth was available. She just stood there and rolled her eyes. I finally just walked over to the buffet side and check myself and I saw there were two booths that were available. She followed me and then patronizingly gestured towards the booth and walked away without saying anything. Absolutely insane. The waitress I had, on the other hand, was a delight and very curtious. They ran out of lo mein and she saw that was what I really wanted and without me asking she tells me she spoke to the cooks and new lo mein will be out soon. So the takeout experience and food is good, actual waitress was great but just my experience with that greeter makes me never want to dine in there again.

Im really kind of surprised at the positive reviews. We went last night for the buffet (wednesday night) and it was horrible. The lack of people should have been the first clue but we figured everyone was still sitting in traffic since it was somewhat early. The food was so greasy and oversalted that you would get sick if you ate a whole plate of food. Everything was dried out, like it had been sitting a while. I couldnt believe how much we paid for the awful, awful food. And we were charged $5 for my 3 year old, who took all of 3 bites of food. I feel guilty for making him eat that much of it, to be honest. If you like to eat salty balls of greasy fried dough, this is your place!

I just left the restaurant right now as I was eating it to open my silverware I come to find a piece of hair it looked exactly like the service here shes the only female that works in the restaurant at about 6 men shes the only female that rolls the silverware to take care of the drinks and sit you at your table I tried to discuss this with them that it was her hair we even compared it to her here and she will begin to she refused they refused to give me a refund for my dinner and they took $2 off I didnt want any problems so I just left. the food was dry it wasnt for the food theres never good but its good for just when youre hungry and you dont want to cook.

The only nice thing was the booths in which they seat you. They are unique and private (albeit riddled with graffiti...). We went later in the evening to try it out, and it was very disappointing. There was very little variety, almost no choice in cooked vegetables, and lukewarm food that looked like it had been sitting out all day. Even the regular foods like general tsos chicken werent quality - All breading, no meat. I was scared to try any seafood, and they have a sushi bar. The mongolian grills "raw" meat choices looked so dried up they were resembling leather. Service was fine, but food was not. Would not recommend.

HORRIBLE,WOULDNT RECOMMEND TO THE HOMELESS..VERY NASTY BATHROOM STAINS IN CIELING WHILE YOU EAT, GRAFFITI ON WALL IN BATHROOM & DINNING AREA....DID THE HEALTH INSPECTOR KNOW ABOUT THIS PLACE? WHERE IS THE SCORE YOU SHOULD ALWAYS SHOW YOUR SCORE IN RESTURANT. VERY SHAMEFUL THAT MY KIDS ATE A COUPLE BITES OF THE MADNESS. WHOEVER CONSUMES OF THIS WASTE IS SICK OUT OF THIER MIND & PROBABLY DONT CARE ABOUT THIER LIFE. I AM NEVER EVER GOING HERE AGAIN.

Been to a lot of buffets. Really like this quaint little place. Little booths designed as little houses, marker graffiti from the lovers, and the food is good. I tried everything high risk and it was all fresh and tasty (oysters on the half shell, clams, sushi, egg drop, WHOLE fried fish). Then I get the bill 4 a measly $10.60. This place is gr8. 3 thumbs up! Umm.... oysters kicking in already. :D

This place is terrible! The place is not as clean as a resturant should be. The cooks have no clue how to cook real M.BBQ, your food comes out just a complete mess. The veggies were limp/stale to begin with and the beef had an off smell so I made my plate a veggie dish. Will not go again and I advise you to avoid it as well.

Food was good, but I lost my apetite when the server asked me if I was done eating. I had only been there for 10 minutes. He told me its dinner time. I said, "why didnt you ask me to wait until dinner... I just sat down." Then they had their employees follow me around to make sure I didnt eat the dinner food. Poor service.

The place is a little run down and the food wasnt the best (except the mangos), but what made this a five star experince for me was our server. I didnt catch his name ( he was a tad potato like in appearance , which is great because I love potatoes!) but I hope to see see him again someday. Till then my sweet potato!
