I ate with my family today. However, food wasnt fresh. I got odd smell from fried chickens. Ribs werent cooked well, so I did stopped eating the ribs after my first attempt. I assume they use unfresh oil for their frying. At the meat station, I asked to meat chef to get medium steak, he gave me very well done. Even my family member also didnt get what they wanted. Fruits werent fresh and left very dry. It seems never refilled fruit station. My whole family almost stopped eating after finished their first plate. We spent 65 dollars for this dinner. Although these matters, our server was nice and she served us well. This was only good. Ive used to go to golden corral wherever I travel. However, my experience at Lexington one was so disappointing. Id rather not going again golden corral now on. I dont think this is the best american buffet as they advertise.

Most of the food is good. If you want your steak cooked a special way or free from gristles and fat this is not the place to eat a steak. Steaks are served however they have to be at the moment you ask for them. If you ask for rare youre likely to get well done. The prices are a bit High for this type of restaurant. You can dine in in a nicer restaurant with full service rather than self service for about the same price. The best thing about this place is the breakfast bar. Good selection of salads. Many varieties of meat and chicken. If you can handle hang about $15 per person and dining among lowlife Hoodrats and Rednecks the food is really mostly good.

The food is mediocre, at best: its warm, but its not the greatest, by a long shot. Id much rather have something like Loudon Square buffet because its cheaper and the food there is tenfold better. I just cant see paying $16 a person for food that tastes like it was prepared in a microwave and kept warm by a heat lamp. The service was top notch, though. The waitress was friendly as could be: she made sure our cups were never empty and checked on us frequently, but not too often. I would recommend this place only if you know you already like Golden Corral.

The bathrooms were seriously subpar. There was something sticky on the floor and my shoes literally stuck to it! There were bathroom doors with out locks. And only one hand dryer worked. Our waitress was sweet and did a great job her name was Amy. Certain items of food were better than others. I highly recommend the mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and pizza. I do not recommend the meatloaf or baked beans. The chocolate fountain was more of a chocolate puddle. There was no foutain part. But cotton candy was great along with the other pies and cakes.

I had a great time I and my friend Cindy Raymond Snider went to Celebrate her Birthday and we had a waiters Charlene dont no her last name for got sorry but she was Black and done a great job she had Happy Birthday Wishes over Loud Spreaker all over the GC that just made our Day food was so good she was so nice and were comeing back again for Easter thanks to Charlene I hope she There I will ask for her and get her to wait on us Again Thanks GC for makeing my friend Cindy Raymond Snider so Happy and we will be there for Easter if 2017❤️❤️

As I ate I looked over and saw a bug crawling were the plates and cutlery is. I saw the waitress notice but she couldnt do anything customer was in the way I thought she was going to ignore it. But she called a manager. Maybe called. Terry. Or Teresa. Cant remember who casually plucked it up and threw it to the ground and stepped on it. Never saw her wash her hands. There roaches there people. Theres German house hold roaches. Roaming. Nasty

Good luck getting anyone there to answer the stupid phone. Been stuck on hold for an hour and a half trying to get in touch about a lost wallet. I understand they can get busy, but at 2 pm on a Wednesday afternoon? I highly doubt there isnt someone who cant take a call. If you want to make a reservation or order catering, better be prepared to wait on the phone for 2 hours plus, because they cant be bothered to answer

My friend and I dined at Golden Corral at the Lexington store #2443. It was the most pleasant experience that I have had in awhile. My waitress was kind and very attentive. She met are needs with a smile and a can do attitude. The food was excellent as well as the service. My waitress was Hollie Workman, I hope you let her read this it is people like her that makes or breaks a establishment..

Meh. I am a fan of golden corral because of all the choices you get but the one in Lexington is not all that great. The Breakfast buffet is just ok. Nothing special here. The lunch buffet is alot better than the breakfast one in my opinion. The desserts here are not bad but I have had better ones at other Golden Corrals. The service was excellent for the lunch buffet. 2.5 stars rounded up

Service was not great. Waitesses seemed unhappy to be there. Not a good sign. It was mostly pretty much clean. Food ok. Ive eaten in better Golden Corrals. Id include a pic of their amazing chocolate pudding pie, covered w whipped cream. My favorite! Always good in all the Golden Corrals. Have them an extra star for the pie!!

Excellent today Good selections and everything was Hot. Our request at the grill for medium well stake to the young man the serving was perfect. Waitress was excellent, when my wife stated there were no scrambled eggs she shortly returned to our table with hot scrambled eggs. Good Job and we will be back.

I went here for the first time 2 weeks ago, and I must say the salad bar was delicious but I will never eat there fried chicken, because I found a hair in it. Yuck! I did tell the manager and the problem was solved quickly. I would give 5 stars but not after finding hair in my chicken.

Just depends on what you like. The price is not affordable at all. For what I paid I could have gone to Malones. The food was OK but it was buffet so it can only be so good or so fresh. It is in a not so great area of town, so the atmosphere is not the greatest.

Paid about 17.00 per person with the drinks it was three of us and we were really disappointed because the Food was nasty it seem like leftovers and also undercooked I also found a hair in my food total waste of money

Good for a fast lunch with a wide selection of items. Buffet was well-stocked and clean. Was busy but restaurants had no trouble keeping up. Food was good and included some breakfast items like eggs, which was nice.

Sometimes the food is very good, but most of the time its unremarkable. The same goes for the service, sometimes the waitstaff can be friendly and other times you have empty plates cluttering up the table.

Wasnt very clean. The food trays were almost all empty and not getting replenished. Waste of my money on a half @$$ buffet! Been to plenty of GCs, this one is close to being the worst! They need help here.
