I love most of the food at this place. The soy sauce infused chicken and beef with peppers, onions, and mushrooms (and jalapenos) are awesome!!!!! Great recipes they have to cook! If you get there at 11:45 you will have the freshest most yummy food ever! And the lunch price (and food) is a great value. But here is why I give them 3 (instead of 5) stars. The staff can seem very rude and unfriendly. Noone ever smiles while taking your order. One time 2 girls were talking in Chinese while looking at me. They had a good chuckle, it made me think they were talking about me and I was the butt of some Chinese joke. While I LOVE most of the food, they dont properly remove the "mud vein" from their shrimp. This is why I mostly just eat lunch there. If Im paying for shrimp, it shouldnt be all "crapped" up. They have such potential, it would be soooo easy to take it to the next level. Why not properly devein your shrimp, and smile for your customers?

I have been to many Chinese Restaurants in my life (including in Hong Kong) and this is one of my top favorites. The food is always fresh and top notch. The service is great and the folks there are friendly. The only downside is that there is a certain "group" of people that like to take advantage of these kind employees. Example= "They" will have 4 at a table but will only want to pay for 2 buffets claiming the other 2 did not go up to the buffet line when it was clear that all 4 were eating off the other twos plates. The cashier will let them get away with it rather than causing a commotion. Dont let that stop you from going there though because that is the only negative about this awesome establishment and this situation mostly occurs on the 15th and 30th of each month.

This is my first review. The resturant is clean and that is worth 1 star. The server was nice and refilled my drink in a timely manner and that deserves 1 star. However, leaving this resturant and hearing my daughter say that she "didnt feel welcome in this resturant" prompted this review. I ask for crab legs and was ignored. I ask again and it took additional 10 mins for them to put them out but they only put out 8 miscellaneous and broken legs and 2 knuckles. But the worst part is...the hostess slung them in the slot and rolled her eyes and walked away...almost stomping. I have never been treated so badly in public and i just dont know what else to say. Im really just still shaking my head. Whew!

Have they improved over the years? I used to love there food and go weekly, even with the ladies bathroom hole in the ceiling and draft. They seemed to get dirty there for a while. First plate I took a pickle off my plate from the buffet and took a bite. I asked if my son wanted to try a pickle and looked at it and a roach was on it smushed. I about puked. I told the waiter they did nothing but take it away. I couldnt eat after that. I told the reception payment person and he didnt even take anything off my bill. I havent been back since. Is it cleaner or under new management? I doubt I could go back but its been 4 years and the food was good until that.

The food is all great. They have a section with pizza, wings, potatos etc. for picky kids. All the dishes and soups you would expect. I love the hot & sour soup. All the chicken, beef, & pork dishes are perfectly seasoned & cooked. By the salad bar they have several decent deserts and scoop yourself generic icecream. Btw, food selection is fairly large. Atmosphere is pretty good. Theres a cool fountain in the center, and if you want some privacy theres 2 side isles you can sit at. Only negative is that the employees can seem kinda rude and most dont speak English.

Staff seem pleasant and refill drinks in a timely manor as well as with busing the table. They normally have a decent variety of foods out that is a plus. My complaint is the food is not as good as it used to be. Having a variety is great except when a good amount of it is not up to par taste wise. The general tso was not tasting well the last two times Ive visited. I will say the crab ragoon was much much better this visit than the last. Basically friendly staff but food needs to be better and i wouldnt recommend as a first choice to go out for chinese.

I have enjoyed greatly coming here whenever in Cincy, which is a lot. We are expecting to move here this summer. The food is good and the price is a good value (before 4pm) I guess its OK after 4, too, but..... But even though I have been there three times this week and 8-10 times in the last month, I am considering trying some other places; They have started playing crappy-ass American pop radio bullshit music over the house system. I can hear THAT anywhere. PLEASE Grand Buffet. Go back to music you used to play. It is so much more pleasant.

Dont waste your time here. Upon entering, the "hostess" was sitting at the counter with earbuds in and didnt bother looking up. We werent sure if we were supposed to seat ourselves or what. The food was dried up and had been sitting too long, yet somehow was greasy at the same time. The selection was horrible, mostly chicken options. Staff sat around eating while we waited for refills, waiting long enough we considered getting them ourselves. Find another buffet, for the price and the service its worth driving a little further.

I got my first plate and everything looked fine. I started to eat and realized all of my food was cold. Hot food is supposed to have an internal temperature of 140°. Bacteria grows rapidly after 2 hours below that. I dont know how long my food was cold but I wasnt going to take any chances. I explained my concern to the manager. He said "its ok only one of the buffet tables are broken". I left without eating or paying.

Got there late for lunch - after 2pm. Place wasnt too busy but workers were out in force, cleaning, replacing food in buffet and servicing tables. Sushi rolls were pretty bad but hey, this is a Chinese place. Selection of soups was good and they were all good. Cooked concoctions were many and all decent. Lots of mushroom dishes were all delish. Not the best overall but for a buffet with a drink for $8 a good deal by me.

Used to love this place. However on my last few recent trips the food was not as great. Also the "$6.75 lunch is a lie, also they give no guide lines as to what time certain prices will be charged. They will often over charge you and then pretend to have no clue what you are talking about. Oh and forget refills if they have brought the bill to the table and sat it down while you are still eating.

I had been here before and it was great. On my return trip I was very disappointed! We arrived around 7, buffet had very little selection. What was out was lukewarm! You had to beg for them to bring out the selections that was empty. I dont mind eating what is given to me as long as it is free but I paid $60! So needless to say I wont ever go back!
