Im going to be bunt its bad dont work their from BS "policies" that border on criminal to thinking that their the best thing sense slice bread power hungry managers even the reviews that "say" its clean but its not if you look hell OSHA show have a look around its bad managers that talk behind customers backs to general mistreatment of employees the food is over price the staff have to be nice or fired they stresses the small stuff but only treat the customers as if their dollar signs walking in and out they could care less if someone leaves angry because they think theyll come back or go to another hyvee Thanks for reading my paragraph long review hope it helps spreads the truth

I was interrogated the next day I came in and cussed at by a couple managers due to slow ticket timing the night before when I got super busy. I was treated unfair and was told they do not want to pay for someone coming in and helping me. I was also told that hyvee should be my life and they do not care if I am late to my second job. I had no respect from them what so ever. Favoritism is a huge issue. Worse experience in my life. Im happy that I am now not miserable everyday anymore!

When I provided the name of the recipient of the flowers, the head florist laughed at it. I asked why she was laughing and she responded, "Well, I didnt know if that was really his name." Yes, his name is from another country. However, that doesnt justify the lack of cultural competence and customer service. I hope that in a city which is only getting more diverse other Iowa natives, such as myself, will get with the program.

Kelsey in the pharmacy was not very nice to me. I didnt think that I was rude to her but she acted like it. I wanted 3 months supply because my insurance pays that way. So she didnt like it when I wouldnt take 1 month supply. I called my Dr and they said they would call it in again. Problem solved. Hope she was just having a bad day.

If you order flowers from this location, Talk to Cindy in the Floral Dept. She was fantastic ! Flawless transaction that really made me happy. I buy alot of flowers long distance, its always nice to come across a person who takes pride in their work and understands what customer service is. 5 Stars !!!!

Usually I like hyvee, and think their Chinese is awesome, Ill never get Chinese, or any hot food, from here again. There was no taste, everything was bland, rice and every entree we had, and my Mongolian beef had a very raw piece in it. Go to Altoona or into red moines if you want chinese.

I enjoy shopping at Heidis everywhere they have good produce and I just enjoy the company that I meet when Im in there shopping I think its pretty nice place if I Smiles are great the other very helpful as well and its a nice thing to see thank you have a great day bye

Lack of fair opportunities, way to much drama, too many managers on power trips, way to much favoritism among each department. If you dont want those things, dont work here. You will regret it!! Other hyvees are much better than the Pleasant Hill Hyvee.

My Primary Grocery Spot. Its not as huge as the Altoona store, but it is a more manageable size and generally has everything I need. The employees are friendly and helpful. Ive known several of the young people who got their first job there.

Its very clean,and friendly.They dont have a lot of brand names because they want to sell Hy Vee store brands.They dont carry new Oreo candy bars but they do have Newmans Own lemonade.It is the only one Ill buy.Its the best.

Good local grocery chain with a wide selection of fresh, prepared, and standard food items. This location was clean, friendly, and easy to park. It felt smaller than other Hyvees in the area, but same store features overall.

Nice, friendly staff. Prefer this HyVee location over the others! Very upset about the MarketPlace going back to the traditional pay now and sit style. The prices seem to have gone up as well for less convenience.

I feel Hy-Vee is rather expensive however they have good sales, and excellent employees and a great pharmacy staff so I will probably eat better because thats where I will be shopping

Selection and quality of products are great. However, this Hy-Vee does not have a smile in every aisle. Management shouldnt belittle employees, especially in full view of customers.

This is my 2nd favorite location, the 1st being the marshalltown location. People are mostly friendly. The meat case guys could be nicer. But, overall, satisfying shopping experience.

Great service, has great coffee in gas station and caribou coffee connected to it. 24 hour pump service. Has items in it from Hy-Vee Grocery store and hit food items.
