Horrible nasty restaurant.. How can u serve food on dirty plates? Manager is really DUMB and doesnt know how to run a restaurant or any business is my opinion. After I told the so call manager about the plates he asked me if I want the food to be prepared over again. I was like damn, what a nice question then he left the table. I felt so uncomfortable we got up to leave. I paid for the drinks which shouldve been free. While waiting in line, I heard the manager ask another employee did they walk out? I told him nope just ready to pay for the drinks so that I can escape dealth. The floor was dirty, the front of the business was unclean. Before my fiance opened the door for me, I told him to look at the glass, its not clean hand/finger prints are all over, oh my god. The waiter apron was black with lots of stains that was more than visible. ANOTHER employee was NOT in uniform but was working. I thought oh my what am I doing here. Wish that I could call Chef Gordon Ramsay. We visited Perkins in Shakopee once before in 2013, the cod fish wasnt completely cooked. Twice within 3 years and still a bad experience how crazy is that? The 2nd time was even worst than the 1st, trust me there will not be a 3rd time..

I have always had a good experience with the staff whenever I make my way to this Perkins. They are pleasant and however short they have been on busy mornings they always try to make time for each table. They offer a range of deals and choices morning, noon, and night to fit all sorts of budgets. Ive been particularly happy going their later in the evening for a quick dinner with my co-workers after a long shift. All in all the food is exactly what you might expect from such a restaurant as this all American eats and down home classics. That being said however it could really use some improvements. The decor is antiquated, I dont usually try to point out stuff like decor, because every restaurant has a unique look and feel, but it doesnt appear to have changed much since the early 90s. All in all I believe that implementing changes to the floor would help make it a staple for more then a few breakfast goers.

Es horrible el servicio .es un asco no pienso regresar a este restaurante ..muchos clientes esperando en la puerta ..gente esperando para pagar no estan ocupados y los meseros nomas te voltean a ver y uno sale de la cosina y sale afuer a fumar mientas ay clientes que atender...literalmente el manneger obel dueňo deveria poner mas atencion en este negocio ....no les recomiendo venir a comer aqui y menos despues de las 10 pm..

My boyfriend and I went here at first everything was fine. We ordered then they bring out our salads then my fiances SALAD HAS ANTS IN IT!!!! So we ask for the manager right away and all he says is "are you sure its just not where you were seated? Other people that have sat in that area have also complained of ants" and we were thinking WTF thats gross WERE NOT THE ONLY ONES? Then the manager goes on to laugh it off and says sorry and takes the salads away and thats it. He even continues serving other customers!!!! We leave because thats gross to have bugs in your food!!!! Let alone we werent even the only ones saying it!!!!!! DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok I love Perkins, normally great food, and good service. But for some reason this one just sucks. The service was terribly slow, however I cant blame them, they told us they were busy before hand. But what got me was I wanted to get an everything smasher with steak on top, now normally the one near me just says sure well add that on top for an extra couple bucks. But here they said they couldnt do it so they made me do the steak medallion smasher instead. That wasnt what I wanted and it was $3 more or so. Either way it was a fairly terrible experience and Ill probably just stick with the one near me that has better food and service.

Came in at about12:20 am on Sunday, hungry after a concert. We were not acknowledged until we asked if we should seat ourselves. Our server was very nice, and took our order right away. We....waited...and.....waited....finally our drinks arrived. My milk was warm. There were only about 5 parties there and the larger party that left wasnt cleaned up after the whole time we were there! Yuk. Then we saw food coming. Not for us. We noticed that people who were there before us didnt have their food yet. So we walked by the kitchen and looked. THEY WERE NOT EVEN COOKING! They were goofing off. WE WALKED OUT!

Worst Perkins ever. Went in with a party of 3 ordered our food not a busy night at all only 4 other groups in the restraunt forgot about us for at least 40 minutes. Finally asked where our food was. I ordered chicken noodle soup it was the worst chicken noodle soup ever it was cold and I swear half the broth was oil. Asked for a different bowl was served another one still super oily just super nasty. Tried onion rings cold and nasty everything seemed to be waiting under a heat lamp dont ever go here! Chef Gordon Ramsey needs to lecture these people

I am updating this review, I like to give second chances where there is due. I had issues with this location, for the slow service. I complained and I was contacted by one of the main branches. I have to say I am impressed, not too many business these days give you the time of day after A COMPLAINT. They righted the wrong and I am happy that one of my favorite breakfast places still cares about the long time fan. Food is great, it was never the issue. Hope this help others

Some very nice people. Some ....well! Considering the great difficulties of young immature employes who dont even call in sick...or come late...forgetfull...unorganized...texting all day to a porn site. The manager must take some sorta pill with therapy to handel it all. When i was age 47 the waitress loudly announced " YOU CAN HAVE THE SENIOR DISCOUNT FER SURE". Since i turned 55 i have never got the senior discount and even got carded once. Seriously. ....

Consistently SLOW service. For last year or two going here every now and then the service is extremely slow. It doesnt matter if they are busy or not. Sometimes I think they have one waiter for the whole restaurant and one cook in the back. They will not refill your drink unless you ask. So when the food comes out it doesnt taste very good since it was probably slapped together quickly by the one or two cooks.
