This place was horrible and we will never be going back due to the servers rudeness. Unfortunately we didnt get her name because she deserves to be fired. After waiting about 10 minutes we were seated at a group table even though it was just the two of us. This meant they would have seated people we didnt know with us. We asked the hostess if we could move to the booth where the party had just left. She said yes, just let the server know. We sat at the booth with our menus. The server came over looking confused and said there was a line and we couldnt just come in and sit there with a rude insulting tone like the hostess didnt seat us. I dont know where she thought wet got the menus. Strike 1. Then she had the nerve to lie to us and day the hostess was new and didnt know better. Funny because the hostess was the same person that was there the last time we were there months ago. Strike 2. Then she said she had to make sure other people werent waiting for that booth like we were lying to her and walked away. Strike 3. We left. Went to the hwy 55 location and were asked wether we wanted a booth or table. Were were seated immediately had excellent food and service. Left a good tip. Server was pleasant and courteous and seemed genuinely glad we were there. Made a point to compliment our server to the manager. Do yourself a favor and skip the Hemlock 694 location. Shame because it is very close to us.

I actually agree with everyone about the great service with one big caveat. The service goes radically down hill in terms of responsiveness and efficiency when the poncy male manager with combed back blonde hair is in charge. If I see him working I usually just leave, I eat there several times a week, because really its a great Perkins. But they should fire that guy. I got seated last night and was ignored by staff searching booths for something for 20 minutes. I finally walked out when 3 staff members on a quest through storage walked by and not a single one (manager included) noticed I still had a menu, and no one had spoken to me.

I have been to a few Perkins in my life time and let me tell you this, this is the best service I ever received, at almost midnight on a Saturday. Never once did we wait too long for our order to be taken, a drink to be refilled, or a question to be answered. There was quite a few other groups there, too, and only ONE waitress. She was rocking out with all the customers, very personable, and amazing. The amount of work she put into every customer was no less than she gave us. She deserves more than 5 star rating for working so hard at that time of night. Will be going back there again in the future.

We waited 45 minutes for three orders of food: sausage biscuits with gravy and bacon and tatertots, pancakes with corn, and turkey with gravy and stuffing and tater tots and fruit. Im just gonna say that the only food here that was not undercooked/overcooked/not-edible were the pancakes. AND they messed up the biscuit order. They never offered or bothered to refill any of our drinks. We got a kids menu without crayons for the first half hour we were there. Everyone who ate here got sick afterwards. Dont. Eat. Here.

Update 6/20/16: yeah still the greatest. ---------- I didnt expect anything but average because its Perkins BUT: Never have I received my food so fast, so fresh tasting, and with such obvious attention to preparation and presentation from a Perkins restaurant. And service was great. As a former restaurant General Manager, Im not easy to impress. This may be the best Perkins in the metro.

The manager of this place is a douche. The food was good and I was going to buy a banana cream pie, but after being talked to like Im a dumb customer by him I said nevermind on spending anymore money here!! Also made a group of 19 people look stupid as they didnt call ahead for his convenience. Yes calling ahead would be the smart thing to do, but not everyone IS that smart!

We were seated and that was it. Noone bothered asking if we wanted beverages or anything. The servers all walked right past us. People we seated and orders were taken from patrons that were there and ones that arrived after us. After 15 minutes we left. A manager spoke with us as we left and offered an im sorry but the service here sucked

Didnt even make it to table the service was horrible we waited 20 minutes ask them if there would be a table soon watching other parties who came in after us go by and they said it would be 20 more minutes horrible the manager tried to come out and smooth everything over like it was OK and nothing happened

wow. perkins has upped their game since I was here last.. like five years ago. Came in to use a coupon and was pleasantly surprised! Such good food and very friendly service. The host was sooo kind and friendly and fist bumped my 7 year old and treated him like a person rather than ignoring him. asesome!

Our company (Mr. Appliance of W Hennepin & E Carver Counties) meets every week at this Perkins. We walk in the door and our table is ready, hot coffee ready to go. The staff there does an excellent job of taking care of us. We highly recommend this Perkins location for personal or business needs.

We had a great experience at this Perkins. Mike and his great staff were able to accommodate our group of 10 on a very busy New Years Day morning. Our waitress Olivia was the best! Our food came out hot and fast and the hash browns were the BEST. Thanks for a great start to 2016!

Typically busy on a Sunday as you get the church crowd and its close to an outdoor mall however they staff is very friendly and the service is fast.
