My Husband and 3 Children have been going to Jade Palace for over 25 yrs now. 1st when they were across from sears/.2nd when they were in the Kohls Bld../ 3rd @ there present place, we went ever Sun, with the children then they went off to college and when came home wanted to go eat there!! we also have went there during the week. now that the kids are grown and on there own they go them selfs !!! and we try to go as often as my Husbands Job will let him , We in all there yrs have never had a bad meal, everything taste good. the owner Robert is almost like Family we have been going there so long and when we are in Richmond and dont have time we get take out!! his staff is very nice to you. we never had any problems if they run out of food on the Buffet they hurry and get u more stuff.Robert himself Delivers the food , cooks, does a little bit of everything, he will come and talk to u he is very friendly!! and out of all the places we have tried in Richmond they have been the only place we like to go we have have never had any bad smell or taste of anything the whole 25 plus yrs we have been going there,we would like to thank Robert and his staff for the Great food and service for all these yrs, and will continue to keep going there as long as we are able, we wish u very much business for yrs to come, TY Robert & staff From; Ray & Rose Podlewski Your Customers for many yrs. and hope many more!!!!

Ive been a customer of the Jade House for years. Their food used to be the best in town, but in the last year or so, the taste and quality has become terrible. They are pleasant and exceptionally nice people. However, no matter how nice, nor how much Id love to see them do well in town, their cook, or quality of food or both...became awful. I think Restaurant Impossible needs to fix up their menu both in taste and quality. Im not a fan of Great Wall, and the 88 buffet is not very good either. I used to "Jade House" cause it was less expensive and better food. Im going to pay the extra dollar lunch price for Great Wall because at least the food is better than Jade House the past year or two. Sorry Jade House...best to improve your quality and taste if you want to survive your competition.

Jade house has their flaws but compared to the other chinese places. This place is my choice. They have good service. Their food is very good they have some of usual chinese stuff but they also have some different things to try. The price is very reasonable. 7.75 for the dinner buffet. Compared to The Great Wall where its 11.99 the food has a weird after taste like its not fresh and the service is very bad. So save yourself the time and money and go to jade house. They treat you like family there.

Used to be a favorite. The food just wasnt good. Im not into buffet food anymore anyway. It sits around until someone might want to eat it. This doesnt help its quality. A friend and I went and found it inedible. I say this all with a heavy heart too. The atmosphere here has always been good and the staff is nice. It was our last best hope for a local Chinese restaurant. It seems if I want Chinese Ill have to travel to get it.

Food is average. I prefer Great Wall, but their website is impossible to order from. Jade House is just fine for delivery. Update: forgot my drinks and double charged my card. Still no refund 3 days later! And just gave me the run around that they returned it, but its posted to my account. Said they cant do anything about it for a few more days. Edit to 1 star. Wont be going back.

Was just passing through on I-70 looking for quick food. The people were very friendly and the food was cheap, especially for the quality. For just under $5 I got a pint of shrimp and veggies and a pint of rice. Its not great food, but definitely on the better side of Chinese takeout in my opinion. Nice atmosphere too.

This is the main place I go to eat, I have never had my food less then terrific. I never have to wait very long for my food (I always order off the menu) and everyone that works there is very nice. as an added bonus, they have a very hot waiter. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that likes Chinese food.

great delivery service. They will make it just the way you want it and if it isnt how you like it they will fix it. there customer service is outstanding. people who complain about this restaurant should consider asking for what you want instead of being negative. the food is great and the employees are wonderful!!

Ordered by phone for delivery around 645 pm was told 20 - mins now 805 still no food. Called twice and was told its on the way. Tried to cancel order as I didnt get food and was told to tell delivery person. Will call bank tomorrow. Very dissatisfied.

There was little to no selection, plus I got food poisioning and had to use the bathrooms, which were also in a terrible state. I have only been there once, but it was bad enough to send me to any of the other Chinese places in Richmond.

Since I was a little girl my grandmother and I have had a tradition of going every weekend and eating here. Now that Im older I still enjoy eating here and so does my mom, grandma, and my own children.
