I really enjoyed this shop. The location is in the heart of downtown, on a shaded street. The bar is near the middle with ample seating. A well stocked vinyl collection is on full rotation adding a nice background noise. In the very back is their roaster, which the manager happily showed me. At the bar you can choose from espresso based drinks, pour over, and cold brew. A small selection of pastries are also available. For me an espresso and pour over, along with a bar of specialty chocolate, is a great way to spend an hour.

Quills is THE BEST coffee (and especially espresso) in the Kentuckiana area. Go! Enjoy! The new location in New Albany is terrific: open, airy, lots of light wood and space to spread out. Amazing taste in their drinks, as they have all the right ingredients: expert staff, excellent equipment, and great beans (they now roast their own). In Louisville, try out the Baxter Avenue location that delivers great taste treats, on a nice stretch of shops worth strolling about.

I prefer this location over the Louisville location, less crowded, bigger floorplan, and close to a few bakeries. The staff is great, coffee is great, the tea is great, there is WiFi, outlets for charging, just really nice place. If youre a Starbucks Snob you wont like it- Quills doesnt burn their beans, and they dont serve ice cream and call it coffee, so sorry.

We were looking at the beautifully restored shops in the area and smelled the delicious roasted coffee and had to try some! All of us liked the Meile. The lattes were a hit too. The cold brew wasnt as smooth and sweet as I have tried previously but my dh enjoyed it. The donuts ( including the chamomile) were delicious.

So delicious. A real coffee shop. Nicely decorated. Very fair prices. We drive over here from Jeffersonville for coffee all the time. The only latte in the area that is delicious with nothing added to it.

The absolute best coffee. Offers different delivery methods of coffee: cold press, French press, and more. You will not be disappointed. I personally love the dark roast or a white mocha.
