Poor service waited 40 minutes for my take out order. Drove 20 miles home to find out my order was wrong. 1)One order of coconut shrimp ( was undercooked fried shrimp chunks) with a side of dough sauce that tasted aweful. 2) One large order of crab Ragoon( they were half cooked) and 5 came in large order. 3) One large order of fried shrimp. ( it batter wasnt cooked all of the way. And it came with four pieces of shrimp. I called back in and wanted to get order corrected or a refund. And I drove a total of 60 miles over this ordeal 20 miles from there to my home then the round trip40 miles again, all to be denied a refund. I strongly suggest you stay away from this restaurant, in fear of being served undercooked food. Total waste of my evening.

Pretty decent little restaurant. Might need to be renovated and remodeled at some point. Price wise you cannot beat the lunch buffet at 6.50 now in 2017. Food tends to be pretty good and never had any issues with sickness or illness from this establishment. Owner is usually pretty friendly and has been in business here and their other location previously for a long time so I have been ordering here for a couple decades. At least you get pretty friendly service and a decent meal for a fair price. More than I can say for a lot of other restaurants around Salem.

My favorite joint in Salem. Realistically its just another Americanized Chinese buffet. But the prices are decent, the selection is better than several, food quality good (well on the higher end of as good as these ever are), facilities well-kept (and plenty of room), and staff mostly perform well. Well worth a swing by if you have the hankering for this kind of food and are in the area. Better than any of its counterparts Ive found in New Albany et al so far.

The food is delicious. Ive never been able to find sesame chicken that tastes the same at any other Chinese place in the southern Indiana and Louisville area. However, the staff are a little standoffish. They come by to make sure you get a drink and a refill but otherwise just ignore you and yell occasionally in Chinese.

Very poor experience all around. Most of the food was cold, and its flavor was of low quality. The only thing more upsetting than the food was the gentleman who was refilling the buffet, who didnt feel the need to wash his hands between handling trash and handling food.

Ive been a long time patron..buffet is always hot and fresh...something for every one is available. Sushi bar too! ...or order off the menu. Takeout is available by weight and is reasonably priced... Mild or spicy, its up to you...they accept large groups too.

Well first we tried to place a delivery order over the phone and she told us, "Not enough people." After driving to Express China we placed our order and returned home to discover our order was incorrect. The flavor of the food at best can be described as "OK".

We eat here on a weekly basis, sometimes more! We LOVE the food and love the service. It has never a dirty place, but they have recently done some updating. I love to see businesses putting money back into the establishment keeping up with the times!

You will die of thirst waiting on a refill. Buffet is pretty limited on choices. The raw beef in my last carryout was enough to make me toss it, along with lose desire to eat there. It is decent food but by no means the best.

Ordered sushi from the menu, very limited choices and what I received seemed like the rice had been spread with whatever they used to scoop the wasabi. Fish looked questionable. Was gross, couldnt finish it.

My wife got very sick eating the Beef & Broccoli. The meat looked raw and was mushy. We filed a complaint with the health department. Eat there at your own risk. We will never go back.
