Cuban Sandwich was amazing although being from Florida and eating Cuban sandwiches frequently I have a greasier taste. The next time I am in I will ask for extra butter on the outside of the bread so it crusts up nice and buttery. I like em buttery! I was not expecting to get free espresso nor had I tried espresso before. I am not a coffee drinker but this stuff was amazing. I actually bought an espresso machine so I could start drinking it more. I paid attention to how he made it and did the same thing on the one I bought. Not nearly as good as his but I am definitely sold on espresso with a touch of sugar now. We were also given several samples of different things while we there and every single one was amazing. There was this shrimp dish that was out of this world. This place is an easy 5 stars. Service and food combined would be 10 stars if I could give it. Definitely check it out and be prepared to go home full.

Ridiculously good, authentic Cuban food. The menu selection is incredible, never seen anything like it outside of Cuba. The cuban sandwich was literal heaven and was well worth the 10 bucks since it was packed to the brim with pork and swiss with just the right amount of pickle and mustard, took me and my girlfriend to finish just one. Will definitely be going back to get some boba tea next door and fried plantains. The owners got a customer for life Ill tell ya. Protip: Dont be afraid to order the food, cuban food despite what the menu might show you is actually pretty normal just has stuff we dont eat here in the US like plantains which are basically big ass bananas that caramelize like they were born to do it.

Five stars just arent enough. Taste of Havana is the embodiment of authentic cuban cuisine. When you walk in the door you are transported to an island paradise. The aromas, friendly staff and out of this world cuisine whisk you away. Making it easy to forget this little gem is located in landlocked Indiana. To say the food was delicious is an understatement. The cuban sandwich was absolute perfection. The borracho beans, the perfect combination of spices and flavors, even a typically boring rice dish was bursting with cuban flavor. The staff was beyond friendly. Ordering our food felt more like chatting with that favorite jolly uncle at a family picnic. Needless to say we will be visiting here again soon.

We were very excited to try this place based on the reviews it has received, but we were pretty disappointed. We both got the El Cubano and got my daughter a kids meal. I will say that the bread was delicious, but the meat had very little flavor. The ham seemed like it was just a piece of ham steak and the pork was not very tender & very bland. The sandwich wasnt even warm enough to melt the cheese at all. My husband got a side of the spicy beans and they had very little flavor as well. I wouldnt have minded the price if the food was better, but based on the food quality it was overpriced. The staff was very nice though.

Background: I most definitely will be back, this place is so friendly! I love the authenticity! When we walked in we were greeted and taken care off. I did not want to assume that the owners were Cuban, so I waited until I heard them speak in Spanish. Once that was established, I proceeded to ask them if they were from Cuba, and we had a lovely conversation! Review: I had to taste the classic Cuban torta! I loved it! Towards the end of our meal the owner came out and offered us some free Cuban coffee shots! Also try the Coconut Flan! Atmosphere- B Food- A Customer service- A

Saw this place on the Internet. Had a chance to visit the city and dropped in after 20 mins of driving from the downtown. Came in and greeted by the owner. Very nice atmosphere. Ordered the Cuban sandwich and chorizo sandwich with spicy bean and yellow rice side. Wow, I dont know how they make this. Amazing sandwich and people there are very nice and friendly. You will never regret it. Also, if you dine in, dont forget to get the complimentary cafecito (Cuban espresso). Super smooth and sweet without sweetener.

The owners were really nice! They made the experience awesome! The food was great, wait a minute it was AMAZING! They taught me about all the different ingredients they used and how they use real authentic recipes, and the delicious flat bread for the sandwiches. Then to top it off they gave me a pastry that was so addicting I had to buy all the ones they had left for the day. Now I cant stop thinking about getting more. I wish they werent closed on Mondays.

As far as Im concerned this is the best restaurant in Broadripple. The cuban sandwiches are the best Ive ever had, and their sides are fantastic too (particularly their platanos). The owner is usually there and he is one of the friendliest and nicest people I have met. He always makes sure that every customer has a great experience. Sometimes the place can get busy, but its well worth the wait. The prices are great too. Dont miss out on this place!

I promised the owner I would be back to try his Cuban sandwhich. I did that today and I must say it was very good. The one issue I had was that it should have been steam pressed a bit longer. I was expecting a nice hot Cuban sandwhich but instead it was a bit on the colder side. Next time ill see if someone else can make it for me. Reguardless, it was extremely filling. (I ordered the 9 inch one) El Regular Until next time my friends.

Great food, atmosphere, and people Decided to stop on my way out of town and look forward to returning. The owner warmly greeted us as we walked in. I asked what dishes he suggested to which he quickly answered one of everything. As I was making a decision, he offered samples of their special. After a small taste, I ordered the largest portion, their platter, and enjoyed every bite. I even purchased an order to go for my father.

Customers: Before you are finished with your authentically delicious cuban, make sure to save room for a coffee and some coconut flan. Youll thank me later. This was not my first time at Taste of Havana, and it definitely wont be my last. And clearly Im not the only one, because they are expanding! Congratulations to the owners. You guys do a great job, and I cant wait to come back when the expansion is completely finished.
