My wife and I went to Olive Garden for our anniversary Saturday, November 6th, 2010 in Kokomo, Indiana. It was a rather horrible experience. Once we were seated, our waiter was obviously having a bad day. He was dropping plates on our table and also the other patrons tables. It was noticeable enough you could very easily hear it throughout the restaurant. We had to ask for refills 3 times, and on the third time he explained to us that he was busy and didnt have time and STILL failed to bring us refills. I got up and spoke with the manager that was there and explained the situation with the passive-aggressive waiter, dropping plates loudly, and no refills. The manager had another waitress bring us our refills. When our original waiter returned to finally get our refills, he seemed surprised that our drinks had been refilled (the manager obviously never said anything to him). The manager then came back over and made small talk about our appetizer and never even offered an apology for the poor service. I would have expected a sincere apology and possibly a complementary appetizer for our horrible experience, but we received nothing. When we left, we noticed a huge group (probably 15+) employees out back smoking. This is very unattractive and the cooks/serving staff should probably keep their smoking out of the patrons view. Or possibly limit the number of employees taking a smoke break to 2 at a time. The food was average. Our passive-aggressive waiter put onions in our salad even though we specifically requested no onions. The food was hot, seemed more pre-packaged than we remember, and the food also seemed to be a bit overpriced and not as good as we remember. I would not recommend the Olive Garden in Kokomo due to the bad service and the food quality doesnt match with the price.

Went there for a Bachelorette party dinner. The waitress had difficulty managing our split check, the service was slow (the restaurant was mostly empty during peak business hours, usually a sign of a poor reputation). The waitress, trying reach across other diners, instead of walking around the table, spilled hot soup down my dress and legs. She was not bvery apologetic. I went into the ladies room to attempt to sponge myself off and the restroom door slammed shut behind me, clipping my heel. When I went to use the equipment left on the table to pay my portion of the bill, it showed that I had been billed for an appetizer I neither ordered nor consumed. By this point I was incensed and went to the bar to pay my check. The manager was sympathetic, but not helpful. The waitress was furious that I hadnt left my check with her. I did not tip, and paid the full amount of my bill. Fortunately they did not charge me for the soup I wore home.

I would give it a zero if I could. We were seated and it took 15 minutes to even get greeted. Another 10 min to get our drink,. Never return. Server was very friendly but was so far in the weeds I felt sorry for him. After almost 30 min with no refills on anything we went to a manager to pay for our drinks and salad and bread (2 breadsticks for a boat of Alfredo is not enough, bread was "in the oven we were told the whole time we were waiting") ×We asked for a manager and he told us they were busy thats why the issues. BS It was a Sunday night at 8 oclock and they were not busy, just too many servers had been cut and the least experienced were stuck in the weeds. Beautiful remodel on the store, but we will never be back. We used to frequent at least once a week and spend 100 dollars. Service was getting worse every time but we love the food so kept trying. No more, this was the last straw!

We splurged on Olive Garden to celebrate our 20th Anniversary. I was disappointed to learn that they no longer had their Seafood Portofino, which has always been one of my favorite dishes. However, the Seafood Alfredo was a decent substitute. Our server was observant and friendly. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. The manager, when he came around, assured me that if requested he couldnt make the Portofino exactly but could come very close. He also sent out a complimentary anniversary cake for the two of us. When it came time to pay, our gift card came up empty. We had the receipt from the purchase of the gift card and it only took the manager and server a couple of minutes to get it sorted out. They were very helpful and understanding. It was a great experience overall.

Party of 22 for a big family dinner, my grandpa had 6 siblings his brother passed in December and he just passed, all of his sisters, there children and grandchildren came back to Indiana from Wyoming, and idaho for the memorial service. We decided to have a family dinner before they returned home and chose olive garden, it was really hard to get breadsticks they brought out 10 the first time for 22 people, then one of my great aunts did not get her food untill after everyone had finished eating they made up for it by giving her meal on the house but it took them 45 mins to figure out the checks when we stated at the beginning we would all be paying for our own meals

Yes the food is good. But I have a few issues with Olive Garden. The main one being this, when I go there I obviously dont eat all of my food. (Pasta is about portion controll). When you ask for a box to take home the server is required to put your left overs in a box for you. That in my eyes is wrong. Yes the entire dining experience is about being waited on throughly, but this is where I draw the line. Never make your waiter or waitress box your food for you, they are people, not slaves. Its degrading to make them box your food for you. I go out of my way to make sure they do not do that with my food whatsoever. If they let me box my own food I tip them more.

Its Olive Garden. Its always a wonderful experience. This location has been remodeled in the past few years and the ambient lighting against the stone backdrop is very relaxing. I wasnt offered any wine samples on this visit but I did try a quartino (9oz) of the Russo Red. Its an excellent choice for those of us that enjoy the light, sweet taste of a moscato blended with the richness of a red. The server forgot to include said quartino in the bill. She corrected her error as my Wife and I were preparing to depart which means I had to pay twice.

Terrible! The only reason Im giving it two stars is because the food tasted good. But the food gave us food poisoning and we had bad service. It honestly seemed like there were a lot of young teenage girls standing around not knowing what the hell is going on. We reserved a table online on the olive garden website and when we told them that they looked at us like we were crazy. And we waited 15 min on anyone to even wait on us or bring us a highchair.
