Went for the 1st time ever on monday to meet with a friend for lunch. Got there around 11:30a, shortly after they opened. Was seated pretty quickly and needed to use the bathroom. Restroom was pretty cramped and with very mediocre standards for cleanliness (ladies, no hook for your purse and I dont advise setting your purse on the floor if it has any value to you). Headed back to my table and slipped on the greasy floor just before I could sit down. SUPER embarassing! Guests at a table next to me were really concerned but I got up pretty quick and didnt think anything was wrong, other than a small abrasion on my palm from trying to catch myself, that was bleeding a bit. My friend got there, I had texted her to warn her about the floors. My arm was a little sore, but I expected it to be at least a little after any fall. Not one of the actual employees came to check on me and I know at least one girl was up near the hostess station when I fell. I asked for a napkin to clean up my palm but otherwise, I was too embarrassed to make a big deal of it and I didnt think I was really injured. We ordered ate and left. Food was ok for a burger place, a bit pricey though for what you get. Later I ended up going to urgent care because my hand was pretty sore and swollen. I definitely had a sprain and possibly a fracture, got put in a splint, with a sling and pain meds, then followup for the nxt day with a specialist. I called the after going to the urgent care, to let management know what had happened and that they needed to do something about their floors. I was told the GM would get the message and get back to me the next day around 3, when he would be in. I hand a follow up appointment for my hand the nxt morning so I was ok to wait til the afternoon to talk to management. Never got at call, waited all afternoon then I finally called around 8p, to explain what had happened and the manager, Jeremy, literally told me that because I didnt say something when it happened initially and they didnt do an incident report, he had to treat it as if it never happened! He never asked of I was ok, never even showed any empathy, like " Im sorry that happened to you" or anything! I warned him about his floors and/or cleaning of those floors(the evident lack of) and he said they were "factory engineered, slip proof floors". I dont care what your floors are, if they are greasy, people can still slip and fall on them. Needless to say, I wont be going back and neither will my friend and neither will anyone else Ive told about what happened. **One star for decent food.**

I love the food BUT we will not be returning to the Jeff location which is near our house. Every time we go there it seems to a gamble on if we will have good service or not. We are easy going people but today we reached our limits. We came in about 1:15, no customers downstairs, only 2nd floor was open. No hostess but the bartender did greet us. 5 tables inside, same outside. She told us 20 mins wait b/c everyone came in at once. We waited 40 mins before being sat at a table. During which time tables emptied, nothing bused but 1 out of the 3 servers I did see did have time to have a long conversation about what she was going to do next Friday night with other people. Several other people came in after us and the majority left because they were being told 40 min wait and there were only 3 tables sitting in the dining room. Finally we sit down. The server which was going to wait on us passed us 4x without acknowledging us. On the 5th time said she would be with us in a min. Finally took our drink order and did bring those promptly however we sat there for 15mins before we left. We were there for over an hour and only had drinks. We stayed much longer than could have been expected and even left money for the drinks. I never saw a manager walking around but by the time we left I was so furious that talking to a manager would not have been good. The only way to fix problems is to know about them. We love the food so much we actually drove to the New Albany location which was fabulous food with quick wonderful service. Please fix the Jeff location!

I visited this Big 4 Burgers for the first time with high expectations. The experience was terrible. 4 adults & 1 infant was our party & the hostess at the door was rude. She walked around like she didnt care at all & couldnt even fake a smile. She sat us at a table & it took LITERALLY 20 mins before anybody helped us. The front of the restaurant was empty other than 1 other table of 2. Servers walked past us as if we werent there & we had to stop the hostess & tell her nobody has seen us yet. That took another 5 minutes. Then our not-so-friendly server shows up & takes FOREVER to get us our non-alcoholic beverages. We finally order & the food was great. Nothing bad to say about the food. The service is all that killed it. Getting the bill for us was the quickest thing or server had done. We paid our over $80. bill. I was hoping to see a manager before we left but nobody was in sight except for the hostess. Leaving the restaurant was the only point of the visit where we recieved smiles & politeness. I will not recommend anyone go to Big 4 solely because the service was terrible & thats a shame.

Went on July 4th right around 7, 30 minute wait was reasonable for such a busy day with the free concert & fireworks nearby that was about to start and they even had some live music and we had 6 in our party. The young ladies who were up front were very nice and talkative to the kids in our party. The service was good, they kept bringing food to our table that wasnt ours, but it was a chance to see what other items they had on the menu! They forgot some fries on one of the orders but rectified it. The server we ordered from didnt bring out the food so that may have been the issue. The burgers are massive, Im not sure what the person below was talking about when they said they were thin. Garlic fries taste amazing, had some parmesan cheese, but were a little on the soft side. We had another server who just was walking by and taking care of others kept joking with the kids in our party throughout the night, and as we were about to leave he brought them some milkshakes to go! Overall great visit on slammed day. Keep it up! The Henry Baines burger is legit.

HORRIBLE! It is a good thing that your food was good. Once again, service was just terrible. I was told it would be a 20 minute wait and ended up waiting almost an hour and 20 minutes with NO APOLOGY! I had to go get my own refills from the bar because our server was no where to be found. You all had a server running the hostess stand which is probably part of the disaster. Plus, when we were waiting to be seated, another group of people complained and were sat immediately. When I looked at the sheet, we were there over 20 MINUTES BEFORE THEM. I was so embarrassed that I brought my friends here for a special birthday. It will be a very long time before I consider coming back and I will also never recommend the Jeffersonville location ever again. Hire more servers, a host, and bust people before you consider opening another restaurant. I watched at least 3 big parties walk out on you all today. If you have a long wait, be honest about it at least.
