Very disappointed. Recently moved to Louisville and everyone has raved about Smashburger. And I do not see why. The staff was friendly and always smiling, and we got our food really quickly. But that doesnt make up for the quality of the food. Ordered a classic smash, well the big smash, which includes: American cheese, smash sauce, ketchup, lettuce, tomato, pickles and onion on an egg bun. Also ordered bacon and fried egg to go with it, just to be different. Didnt actually have any of that on it. Got a plan burger, cheese, and fried egg with a bun. Nothing else. Got charged for cheese. Really? It was supposed to come on the burger, along with sauce, ketchup, tomato, pickles and onion according to the menu. Guess I hoped for too much, or I should have ordered everything individually. Oh wait, didnt get the bacon I asked for and got charged for. Fries were very very salty, even with the rosemary, olive oil, and garlic. I couldnt taste any one of those over the salt, Had to refill my drink to finish them. My wife was equally unimpressed. Had to go back to the counter to reorder a shake that was ignored during our first order. The only thing she enjoyed was the goats cheese. For $30 plus the $4.53 for the shake, I guess I had expected more. I was seriously contemplating sending it back. But having worked in the restaurant industry, you DO NOT send food back you want to eat. I guess Ill stick with Steak n Shake or even McDonalds. I know I will get the right food, and save some money.

High hopes upon walking in. Weve never been before. The person taking our order had to be told twice what we wanted because she was too busy looking at/talking to the other employees. She was not pleasant or helpful- as stated, we had never been before, so we had questions to which she did care to give answers to, or the answers were short and rude. It took 22 minutes to get 2 burgers and fries. The table who sat next to us had to clean their own table off, as there wasnt a clean table in the whole place that was not already occupied. One burger came out, and a few minutes later we asked where the second was (which was on the same ticket), and it took about 5 more minutes to get the second burger. I was nearly finished eating by the time my husband got his order. The person who delivered his food recognized that there was no ranch for his fried pickles, but could not be bothered to get him any. After waiting for way too long for it to be delivered, he literally had to walk to the window and grab the ranch bottle himself. Burger was dry and fries were waaay too greasy. The only good part of the meal was the milkshake. Very disappointed.

This place is a joke, I went to the Hurstbourne SB, and first trip their gluten free fryer was down so they could not make fries for us (2 of us have celiac disease) so no big deal, sucks but hey they cant help that. Fast forward 1 month later try to call then to see if fryer was fixed their line was busy for 10 minutes soild so we decided to take a chance, drive there and yup fryer dead. I told the manager about it and he said yeah the fryer just died tonight. No complimentary anything but a sorry. Least he could do is throw my 6 year old a shake to get us to stay.

Place isnt too bad. Took some time to figure out what I liked here since its taste is unique. Staff has always been extreme professional and polite, not to mention a good sense of humor. Ordered online every time and every time order was 100% correct. Put all the names as references to Super Troopers and whole staff had a good sense of humor about it. I would go, and have gone, out of my for Smashburger.

Was a little disappointed with the spinach salad. On the small side and had dressing even though I asked for none. The chicken was measly and they delivered it with the receipt in the salad as if it were another topping. Extra fiber? On the other hand, the burgers did look very good and this place is known for that so I realize my opinion isnt very helpful for most people.

Every time I have eaten at this particular location it is normally very very slow service, the computers are always down and having to take orders by hand and the order is always half wrong. Its also the messiest smashbuger Ive ever eaten at. They gave us a stack of coupons for all of the previous mistakes so they get two stars. But just know, this place is rough.

Well to start service was a joke. One person to handle the front of house who clearly didnt know what was going on. Then 4 people in the kitchen only pushing a single plate out in 5 minutes for a family of 4. Food showed up with hard bread, missing smash fries, and cold chicken. Started coming here instead of Five Guys but now five guys has my business again.

Very friendly staff and a fantastic updated selection of ingredients. The food was fantastic. It is a great classic style burger not the preformed prefrozen that so many places sell They even brought my date and I these complementy cups and coupons. After it all the service the food the atmosphere I really wish that I could give them a sixth star

Rosemary & garlic Fries, yummy. Burger, tasty.Customer service, great, but..... I could only eat a few bites because........ The person who took my order was covered in scabs. Some scars or scrapes were open. Needless to say it made everything look, taste and feel less appealing or appetizing. I would be willing to try again at some other time

I would like to recognize an outstanding employee by the name of Gabriele(Gabby). Gabby had a wonderful personality. I recently broke my ankle & so she offered to walk my food to the car. Gabby is the type of employee who I attempt to hire for my own business. Keep up the great work Gabby, youre going places!!?

Went for dinner, didnt have to wait. The burgers were closer to Red Robin style than Five Guys. The chocolate shake was pretty good, but a little icey. I like the Red Robin shake better. Overall I liked everything and will be coming back. Its nice to just order, eat, and leave without waiting on a waitress.

BBQ bacon cheeseburger and smashfries is one of the better burgers to be had in louisville. has always been made properly and not soggy or over salted during my visits. this and bluegrass burgers are the go to places for a good burger. Bluegrass burgers is better, however, smashburger is still worth a look.

The people that rave about this place are severely retarded. The bland, overpriced (and rather odd tasting) burgers compliment the bland, overpriced (and really soggy) fries (which come in a minuscule portion). Three visits with co-workers was enough for me. HomeRun burger is WAY better, AND cheaper.

15 out of 20 times of visiting, the burgers had to be sent back because they were raw. The milkshakes are watery, basically a liquid state thats chilled. Very unfortunate as the burgers when fully cooked taste decent... Wont be coming back anymore. This was the last time.

My girlfriend and I ordered a burger and a shake at 7pm its 7:40 right now we have finished eating and have yet to receive our shakes when asked about it 20 minutes pryer the worker says yeah theyll be right out. Im not a genius but I dont think 20 minutes is right out.
