Not sure why there was a wait.... Granted we understood that it was Harvest Homecoming and we figured we would wait awhile. But to have an empty restaurant and still a 30 min. wait was a little crazy. I believe they are short on staff, and the hostess has no idea how to judge how long a wait will be. In out long wait for food we heard her tell people 25 mins, 35, 45, and at some point 100 mins of a wait. And not in that order, and still while the dining room was empty. Part of the issue could be that they are encouraging people to find a table in the open bar setting area. Which just causes more problems for your kitchen staff...it resulted in an hour wait for our food, not to mention it was cold.

I very rarely leave reviews, however after my third visit with poor service I will not return. The food is very good IF you get it! All three times I visited my wifes order was incorrect. Get this, she ordered a PLAIN chicken sandwich! EVERY time this happened, (yes, three separate times), it took over 40 minutes to get a new sandwich out to us. There was nothing more said than "oops, Ill get you a new one". No sorry, no comp... (and to be fair I did not ask for a comp) I expected better. Thought maybe it was timing. Maybe A bad server. But three times!? Avoid unless you have all lunch or evening to set.

Food was delicious. Our waitress was great. Getting our adult drinks almost impossible. If the bartender could serve the drinks as well as she served attitude, it would have been an excellent night celebrating a birthday. We actually heard her say "here take these out there, maybe it will shut them up for a while". For a $98 food/drink bill, I would have expected a little more from the bar. Dont blame our waitress at all. She did her job very well. It was a slow night, not sure why the bar-keep couldnt keep pace.

If you just want a beer, go somewhere else. Long waits because of low staffing, not because of full tables, on a Saturday at 7pm. See hostess to sit outside in rear? How about putting a hostess stand there too since there is an entrance. No open bar seating per your hostesses? Cool, but dont say youll check the seating and never come back. Also, tonight the entire restaurant smelled of fish...but its a burger bar? Weve eaten there before and burgers are OK, but better options within 3 blocks.

Waited 45 minutes never seen our waiter or our lunch everyone that came in when and after we did got served ate got their check and left so we had to leave . i stood at the front to pay for our drinks and still no one so didnt have a choice we had to leave . we was not impressed and will not go back. We went to 5 guys burgers and fris and was greeted ordered served and the food at 5 guys was delicious and much cheaper than big four burgers. So you asked for a review well there you have it.

Went here for a quick lunch withz some co-workers and I didnt know what to expect. We are quite literally around the corner but yet, Ive never visited. Super glad Ive got to change that. The burger options were uncountable. I ended up choosing the California Style and the Cajun fries. I kid you not, the fries are my all time favorite for any place in the area. Kinda wish the portion was a bit bigger for the price, but I am a huge fan that will make this a usual visit ^.^

The food was great. Not so much on the wait staff. They seemed very new to the profession. The atmosphere was very nice. A quaint rustic "this-used-to-be-an-old-store-front" kind of vibe. The previous restaurant in this location was the South Side Inn. A great cafeteria style restaurant. The new place even kept the old signage as a decoration in the new dining room. Very cool. I highly recommend this place, even with the inexperienced staff.

SERIOUS BURGERS WITH SERIOUS TASTE. Want a burger with amazing taste from the depths of the meat to the variety of the toppings? AMAZINGLY good burgers here. Service is personable and the environment is nice and local. Good prices and a nice new deck, if you are in new albany and want a place to eat go no further... as long as you want a burger, salad or sandwich. Not counting appetizers.

It is awful how they are under staffed and the bartender/waitress was having to fix drinks, water and wait on people in the bar area plus take drink orders from all the waiter & waitress. She deserves a big ole raise.Geewhiz...She was a very good waitress.......sad these places charge outrages prices and they wont or cant get help..

We have always liked eating here. We know the burgers are "special". However, the pretzel stick appetizer is not worthy of a gourmet status. Full order of only 4 sticks of the current caliber & price level is not justifiable. Enjoy eating here but beware of the non-gourmet food items mixed in with the great food.

I love this place! I believe they have the best burgers I have ever put my mouth around. The fries are also delicious, along with everything else on the menu. Service is also good, and the place has a great atmosphere. One of my favorite restaurants in the Louisville area. Definitely worth the extra money.

Food is amazing in person, just dont order take out. Out of ~10 entrees ordered for lunch for co-workers only two or three werent missing significant amounts of items or incorrect entirely. example, order of nachos that was missing the sour cream, pickled onions, guacamole, lettuce and pico de gallo

Just passing through and this place happen to be by the gas station we filled up at. Jordan was our waitress and she was very professional and polite. Drinks were always full and the Breakfast Burger I got was probably the best burger I have ever had. Highly recommend this place.

The burgers are out of this world! And there is a great selection of beers as well! Last time we were there, the floor was slippery - I think it was something used to treat the wood floor. Hope that clears up over time, or some old person is going to slip and fall!

A bit expensive, but my entire family said it was the best burgers theyve had. I loved my veggie burger. I also got an order of pretzel bites for an appetizer and they were super good with the spicy brown mustard. Lots of beers on tap to choose from as well.

Service was bad during my first visit. The people were nice, just not staffed well. Only one lady handle seating and serving it seemed. Asked for a beer three times and got nothing. Breakfast burger was ok. Fries were nice....id give it a second shot.

I paid them $16 for a great burger, terrible home cooked potato chips and a terrible tasting Diet Coke. I feel ripped off. Service and atmosphere were good. ** Actually they charged me twice for the meal... So now I have to go back and fix that..

The service was great, the burger was one of the best we have had. The only thing that was disappointing were the fries, they were not crisp or hot. So ,$13.00 for a burger seemed high. Maybe the person on the fries was not on top of things.
