Let me start by saying that this is a "good" burger joint. And yes, the burger was very good and the place was clean. But they have to lose that girl with the major attitude at the register, Nicole. She is a snotty and arrogant person. We walked into the restaurant this afternoon (2-3-14). Yeah Nicole, you remember us. The two older folks? She acted like she was totally put out by her having to wait on us. Yes, we were looking at the menu deciding. And no, there was absolutely no one in line behind us. Yet you and your attitude told me you were having your usual useless day. Well, we got our food from the wonderful and courteous people from the back. No, not you Nicole. You were too busy getting ready to put your "what do you want" act together for the next customer. The burger was good but she has got to go to keep the customers coming in. I spoke to Kenny the manager about the situation and he stated the he will speak to her. In the meantime girl, go get an attitude adjustment.

Okay I have been here twice in the last month. I love their homemade buns and nice burgers. I brought a friend who had never been there and the cashier who took our order was very abrupt. As we sat down he said something about her and I apologized but as usual the food was good. I went back about 2 weeks later and would you believe I said went up to the cashier and I said "Hi, how are you doing?" She just looked at me ....then I said "Would you give me a smile?" And with disgust she said "No." I said " Fine, I will go to another line and I walked away." I never do that but ...really...this is the second time. I have worked with the public for many years..and I know how to treat people. So sadly I wont go back there..I believe I can get a hamburger and a fresh bun sold to me from someone that cares about their customer service.

Unfortunately everything about this restaurant has gone down hill. The girl taking our order was extremely rude and the managers were ineffective and not at all concerned with customer service. The whole place was dark, dingy, and yes, dirty. The kitchen floor was filthy and the dining room wasnt much better with debris and spots everywhere. It is in need of a deep clean and a remodel. The air condioning vent was dripping on us and our table. The burgers were OK, the fries limp and soggy, and the chicken was very, very dry. The condiment bar is a nice idea and might have been a novelty in its time but it is not enough to make up for the poor customer service and average food. We will not be returning.

This restaurant regularly wins Best of Louisville recognition for best hamburger. The meat is freshly cooked and is of high quality. A variety of sandwiches and side are available. After receiving your sandwich you go to a add-ons bar and dress your sandwich the way you like. The buns are cooked fresh in the store and the smell is wonderful. They also have fresh baked cookie and an ice cream bar that serves ice cream and makes milk shakes with real ice cream and milk. The restaurant is clean, well-maintained and is easily accessible from Breckenridge Rd.

Love the food here. Can dress your burger however you like on the giant fixings bar. Have been coming here for over 30 years. Was so happy when they opened another location on the outer loop. However, it was never near as good as the original one. I dont know why, but they could never get the food to taste as good. I suspect many people had this same experience, thus leading to the closing of the outer loop location. Very unfortunate and disapointing, since the great location was a real opportunity for the owners to grow.

Because we were in Louisville and because this place came up on the map and had great reviews, we had to try it. BONUS: Monday and Tuesday kids eat free Upsides: cool toppings bar with so many items. Downside: the burger wasnt that tasty to me... It is in all how you top it, I guess. To me, it was a bit dry. Definitely a neat place to check out at least once. Lots of people seem to really like their burgers.

WW Cousins is wonderful. Its an older place thats got charm. The only drawback is when you sit on the patio the music is quite loud. Any time you ask for it to be turned down the standard answer is "We cant do that..all the music is on one switch." Ive worked in a lot of restaurants and never in one where all of the volume was on one dial. So, if youd rather sit inside..youll really enjoy it.

WW Cousins is one of Louisvilles many local restaurants that has great food, at a great price and is a great experience. WW Cousins has great burgers that you get to customize with your own toppings via their toppings bar! They have all kinds of toppings you can add on to your burger, and they have a bakery that has delicious desserts after your finished with your meal!

Salad bar is pathetic. Waitstaff are not well-trained and I suspect underpaid. The restaurant policy of not allowing you to have the salad bar without an entree seems ridiculous. I will concede that Im a vegetarian, so this is not a good place for me to begin with. However, I can usually make do at most restaurants. This one was decidedly unfriendly.

I love ww cousins. The price is not bad. I mean come on you can put what ever you want on your burger (Dagwood). I love onions. And her I dont have to remind them no sauce at all no this or that. I get to make my own burger. So its always right & good & evertime I bring someone they love it as well. My favorite restaurant in Louisville with out question.

If you have ever eaten at a burger chain called "Fuddruckers", I believe this is a former store from that chain. It tastes the same, which is good, and you get to build your own burger which is also good. There are other choices other than burgers and an in store bakery as well. I would actually give it a 3.5 but that was not an option on here.

The price was great, the burgers were awesome, and the fact that they make their bread from scratch in plain sight for all customers to see I think was a really neat thing about this restaurant. This isnt your typical burger joint, its delicious, its fast, its cheap, and its from scratch. I wish there were more restaurants like this one.

I was visiting from out of state and wanted to try a local place. Im glad I found W W Cousins. Delicious fresh made burgers and buns. I agree with another reviewer who said its like Fuddruckers. Any fast food style restaurant where Im asked how I would like my burger cooked and they actually listen and do it is a good place in my book.

Love their homemade buns! Good burgers and lots of toppings to choose from. MOST of the time service is good. Every once in a while I will be standing at the counter and there are people around and they dont welcome me or tell me someone will be with me in a moment they just stare at me. I recommend their Onion rings over their fries.
