Let me start this by saying that I used to really like this place...but after today I will never return. I took my family to eat here tonight, and the entire experience was, in a word, a disaster. We walk in to find no one in line, but are told it will be 30 mins before our food will be ready. Fine, well wait, so we proceed to order and go outside to sit at a rickety table that should have been thrown away 5 years ago. Forty mins later I go inside and watch what is a complete debacle...Im not trying to run anyone down, but it was apparent that between the 3 guys in the visible kitchen only 1 could actually read the order tickets. I watched food moved from one tray to a next and to make it worse some stuff was to go which added just a bit too much complexity as I saw 3 different burgers cycle their way through the same to go box. Im unsure if that person actually got what they ordered. Eventually my food comes up...however, it wasnt what I even ordered...apparently they were out of what I ordered. Instead of walking 25 feet to explain the situation and ask what else I wanted a decision was made for me. Uh, no. What I received wasnt what I ordered or wanted....at least a refund was issued. The rest of the food was just terrible. A hot dog for my kid...let me tell you Ive seen better looking dogs on the roller deal at Thortons. The "fruit cup" was a plastic Dole sugar, I mean fruit, cup from kroger. Needless to say after giving mine back without a single bite to get the refund I was still out 20.00 on what ended up being the only thing edible...french fries. Sadly...never again. Next.

Best burger in Louisville. Maybe thats all you need to know. Go in, take a look at the large and simple menu and place your order. Everything is cooked fresh, to order. Grab a craft beer if you arent driving and grab your order when they call your name. At this point, you could just stick with your grass-fed, juicy and perfectly cooked patty. Maybe you added provolone or some local Kennys cheddar cheese, but now you can go to the free toppings bar and load that sandwich even more. Eat, enjoy and leave satisfied. Great food, great staff. Keep them local.

Very high quality local burger chain! We decided to eat here on a random choice for dinner and were pleasantly surprised. Its a small location, but a very local and home like feel to it. Lots of choices for fresh beef and bison. Very well stocked topping bar, and good sides including sweet potato fries and onion rings. The sandwiches arrived fast and werent overcooked. Sides were hot and crispy, staff were super friendly! Overall great experience and I definitely plan to return and bring some friends so they can try it too!

Highly recommend to others! Great local spot with fun options to "build your own burger"! Hints: - Ask for extra cheese. (I had to go home to add more cheese to mine ☹️) - Spicy ketchup wasnt really spicy (moreso sweet than anything) - Parking is slightly limited but we went on the weekend so we could park in front of State Farm) Picture: Turkey burger with cheddar (habanero cheddar was what Id ordered but was scant) &a sweet potato fries (crispy and delish + smoked honey to dip)

This place is great. Burgers are fast, large, tasty, and very fairly priced. My only complaint is that the space is kind of small, with just a few booths, tables, and then a bar stool-like setup. And its too popular; sometimes it can be hard to find an open table. But I would definitely recommend this place to anybody.

Fathers Day Burger We both had the Blugrass Burger, local grain fed beef. I ordered mine medium but it still arrived with an excellent crust from being seared and made it extra good. My wife usually takes food home but finished hers on the spot. The toppings bar included some tastey relishes that I enjoyed on the side.

Bluegrass Burgers is a fantastic local burger joint. The simplicity is wonderful and enhances the experience, you arent overwhelmed by the menu; its just burgers. Definitely a favorite in Louisville. The only complaint is the meat itself could seasoned more, its a little bland but it is still grass-fed deliciousness!

While traveling back home to eastern North Carolina in April 2015, my son and I asked a local resident where a good local place to have a late lunch. We were told about Bluegrass Burgers, oh my goodness, it was the BEST burgers I have EVER eaten. Loved it!!! Wish there was one like it in eastern NC!!!

Hands down the best burger you can get in Louisville. highly recommend a Bluegrass Burger on a pretzel bun with a side of sweet potato fries and smoked honey to dip. It is a little bit pricey, but its a local place with Kentucky beef and ingredients and you cant beat it. absolutely worth a visit.

Good burgers and fries, and with Gluten Free options including buns, which is what got me there. Would definitely eat here again, just find the location and parking a bit hard to deal with, which makes it not my common go-to place. If I lived in that area of town, would be there all the time.

Delicious burgers, good beer. You only tell the cashier which meat and cheese (or other grilled toppings), and our the sauce and such on yourself at the bar. There is ketchup, spicy ketchip, regular mustard, grain mustard, wasabi mayo and much much more. Salsa, too

Great place to eat. Love their Beef burger with hand-cut fries! All of their beef and bison are 100% Kentucky grass fed and hormone / antibiotic free. Their slogan "Good is good. Local is better" is so true. Love that they serve locally made desserts. YUM!

Best burger Ive had in a long time. I definitely recommend this restaurant. The meat is high quality and cooked to order. The toppings bar is exceptional and had a wide variety of sauces that will make the foodie in you go wild!

A little expensive, BUT this is consistently the best burger I have ever had. You definitely get what you pay for here, and everything is locally sourced, as well as having gluten-free options! You will not be let down!

Awesome, locally sourced burgers and fries. Tons of toppings and premium toppings (extra cost) to make the perfect combination. Wasabi Mayo was unique and a delicious addition to the bluegrass burger.

Awesome food BUT have upped their prices to crazy amounts for a burger. Sorry. We wont be going back hardly ever. Our bill was $25 and we only got burgers and fries. Had to take out a loan for this.

Friendly staff, limited and awkward seating. Food was average, onion rings were really good. I went on a hot day and they only appeared to have a window air conditioner, it was very hot.

Absolutely delicious! Customer service excellent! The nice lady at the register explained everything to me and even recommend a sauce to try. Would definitely drive here just for this place!
