Horrible management. We knew we had to wait a little which is fine and understandable, however, a group of 3 women who came in 15 minutes after us was seated just after they put their name on the waiting list, because the management obviously didnt want to sit us at a 4 top since there was only two of us and not three of us like the other party had so instead we were forced to wait longer--and we left. I would rather not give money to an establishment that doesnt care about customer service or even common sense for that matter. We will never be back, I feel bad for the hostess because she felt so bad to make us wait longer, but it wasnt her fault the management cares nothing for their customers. How does this place even stay opened? Glad I know where not to go now, I guess.

Food was good except mom said they were skimpy on the hollandaise. They were very busy and the busier they got the less friendly they were. They were so set on seating 2 people at 2 tops. A group of three men waited for ten minutes or more when there was a six top open the whole time and then overheard the manager tell the hostess to not seat a 3 top at a 6 top. Food is great but the service and lack of friendliness takes it down a notch. Did not feel welcome there.

Arrived around 10 oclock and was seated pretty quickly. At 11 oclock the owner came over and said we had to leave they needed the table. It was less than classy and she was very rude. I had family that drove up from Evansville Indiana just to have brunch with me for a celebration and this is how we were treated. No one should ever go there and we shall never go there again. This is not how to treat customers that are paying and tip very well.

Box-mix gravy? ...over box-mix biscuits? ...with no sausage other than the occasional dehydrated bit from the mix? Canned mushrooms in the quiche? ...in a pre-made crust? Bacon pre-cooked in the oven? Cafe Audrey is the next example of a great concept ruined by a lazy kitchen putting out crummy food. Edible, but no better than the IHOP across 56th.

First time visit for us and we enjoyed it very much. We came at 8:30 on a Sunday morning, before it got busy. Amanda was our server and was great. The coffee was good, the food was very good. This place seems to be liked by a lot of people and I hope they can expand and get a bigger place, because it is quite small.

We ate here the other day and had a great experience. The bacon turkey melt was very good, and the prices were reasonable. Amanda was our waitress and she did a great job. We will definitely be back. I usually dont write reviews, but this cafe is one of the best Ive been to in the 6 years Ive lived in Indianapolis.

Been there a couple times. At lunch Breaded tenderloin very good. At breakfast eggs not prepared as ordered, toast cold and overcooked, potatoes not cooked well at all. The overhead air vent blew on us (air conditioning) the entire meal which cooled our hot food immediately. Not sure I will be back.

One of the best, hippest restaurants on the east side, sourcing much of its fresh menu from local ingredients when possible and offering a wide variety of options to diners who enjoy brunch. Cafe Audrey can be a little crowded on weekends, but the wait is always more than worth it.

This was a return trip to an establishment that I had visited many years ago and had a pleasurable experience. At the time it was owned by a restaurateur who also owned Cafe Nora. Im afraid my current back of the house, front of the house observations might be skewed.

This is a local favorite. Every time someone from out of town visits, I bring them here. It has a great atmosphere and excellent service. The food is also fantastic. Eggs Benedict are always a solid choice, but you cant really go wrong with anything on the menu.

Cozy brunch restaurant. It serves a variety a breakfast and lunch options. The portions size are better than a typical chain restaurant. Alot of the food and coffees comes from local Indiana businesses. The pancakes are to die for.

Outstanding breakfast! The quiche and omelets are outstanding - some traditional and some very different. Bacon and potatoes are well prepared. Great coffee choices- and you just help yourself! Cant wait to go back for lunch.

Great place. We had breakfast here after staying at the inn. The staff was friendly and the food was great. Would have given five stars but it was so busy service got a little slow. But you really should give this place a try.

Definitely glad we decided to try this place! Peek times with a large party (7) on Sunday so getting seated took a while, but it was worth it. The food was amazing, the service superb. Great little place and worth a look!

The atmosphere is very laid and relaxing, usually with a good crowd. Ive been here twice and have been by two different waiters and they are all super helpful and nice. The food is great too, I had the fort Benedict.

After finding this little gem I have become a regular..."The Green Tea Guy". I try to stop in once a week breakfast or lunch, I have always enjoyed what I order and received friendly service from everyone there.

Great little breakfast place hiding in fort Ben. Large portions of Grandma-style cooking. If you leave hungry, thats your own fault! Pictures of their biscuits & gravy and 2 eggs and bacon with biscuit.

Very slow service in a tiny space. The pancakes were horrible and slightly burnt with no flavor. You have to get your own coffee. Overall this place was a disappointment.

Food was very good and so was the staff. Hidden away lunch place in a neat building that used to be a blacksmith shop on base. 60s-70s interior era decoration

Great place for lunch and breakfast. A lot of health conscious items: detoxifying kale salad, omlets with just egg whites. Good service.

Took 10 minutes just put our name in. Food was mediocre at best. Scrambled eggs were very dry. Pancakes were very dense and rubbery.

My favorite place to eat lunch. Live the Reubens and the fish tacos. The homemade chips are absolutely addictive.
