I love breakfast foods. When I was able to order breakfast at 6 in the evening, I was very happy. I ordered the Sausage Gravey & Biscuits combo. It came with 2 sides, 2 eggs prepared to order and shredded Hash Browns. In the past, Ive been served, shall I say, watery gravey with a dash of sausage and biscuits so dry & old, you wondered in what month they were made. Not the case here. The Sausage Gravey was thick and loaded with sausage. It had a smooth milk quality to it. The biscuits were hot and fresh. The eggs were prepared to order and not crispy. The Hash Browns were excellent as well. A grand meal. To top things off, one of our dinner party ordered a portion of Peach Cobbler. It was served hot & straight from the oven. The peaches were flavored with a glaze that wont disappoint & the crumble topping was very flavorful and a great compliment to the peaches. There were 4 of us in the dinner party and the portion was large enough for all to share in. I will go back to the Metro Diner as often as I am able. Worth the trip regardless of which side of town you live on.

This was my 4th time there an literally every time Ive gone its gone downhill. I wont be coming back now. This time I took my husbands mother and grandmother. They forgot to bring my soup out.... ok whatever I can live with that, then mothers dish came out wrong and had to be sent back.... alrighty stuff happens! then I cut into my pot roast it obviously had not been roasting it look more like pound out beef that been seared. It still had the fat on it and was so tough... told the waiter she said oh that to bad did nothing to fix it but promised next time it be better! Couple min later mothers dish came back out most of the chips (she had some big Mexican nacho thing) were burnt and not just slightly. Pretty unhappy! Only reason we continued to come back was the awesome service we received by Adrianne Who was our waitress the first 3 times we came!! She was not working this time :(

Possibly one of the greatest diners I have attended within the past year. Upon entrance, the hostess was very kind. Even throughout my experience, every employee there was friendly and wiling to help, not to mention the food. I ordered a double cheeseburger, and it was very impressive. To top it all off, the manager paid for my food! When I left, I left a good tip for the waitress (which was my mother, Rene), this restaurant is way too underrated & deserves more attention to the public. Cons? My only two complaints are the overall location, which is situated in the corner of the entire plaza. Sharing a building with a couple of other companies. The other one is the price of food, but that is only minimal compared to other places such as Wendys.

Fantastic food, great service, awesome atmosphere, and reasonable prices. Familys been here 3 times, and these guys are awesome at everything they do. Phenomenal Shrimp n Grits, fantastic pancakes and waffles with unbelievable strawberry butter and a fantastic berry compote, killer peach tea, and everything in between. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, its a fantastic place to bring the family to experience GOOD diner food. If I had but one suggestion, it would be to maybe reconsider your music selection. B-sides from 90s popstars is a little weird. But hey, Ill deal with it to have a killer meal.

The place was just opened this Tuesday! I had the best shrimp & grits. Grits were a little different. They were cake grits. Like a patty and deep fried. This made them crispy but moist in the inside. It had diced jalapenos to give at a sweet but small kick. The service was fast and very friendly. Manager was going around making sure everything was to our liking. We will surly return very soon. Only complaint was the what they called peach cobbler. It was a peach crisp. Served hot of the oven, it liked a traditional crust. Otherwise, peaches were cooked well and had great flavor...

This place is nothing more than an IHOP. They are known for their 12 minute ticket times and it is because the food comes out wrong. We had a party of 4 and all of our entrees came out 1 to 2 minutes apart. I had told the server that I was allergic to shell fish and asked if the shrimp and other foods were cooked on separate stoves and she replied yes. However, when I came home I was so sick I had to stay in the bathroom almost all night. Everything is either too salty or not seasoned there is no happy medium. My family will definitely not be returning.

Very cozy and popular among the locals. Flavorful food, with a classic menu with a few surprises scattered throughout. Priced and portioned very well. Ive gone twice in the last week, and could go back again. It looks like they are busy almost all day, and both times Ive gone there was a 15-25 minute wait. Not bad. Friendly and effecient staff. The restaurant is usally full, and seating is arranged to make the most of the available space, so just be aware of large groups of people and slightly tight quarters. Indoor and outdoor seating is available.

This meal would have been great if I had some silverware to eat it with. Ate here on 4/1/17 and sat in the patio area. I knew it would be a mistake, but chanced it. Low and behold my table was in forgotten land as our waitress never checked on us until our food was delivered. We had coffee with no cream, which got cold. Our food also got cold as we waited for silverware. If I hadnt been here before and knew this was a good place, Id give it 1 star for our terrible service. The star rating may change depending on my next visit.

First visit had heard good things about this place. First I had $10 off coupon so didnt pay much for my meal. I was very disappointed coffee came cold. The food came cold yes there was a lot of it and the hash browns were browned all over. I felt very hurried to get out. Service was OK, not great no do you want more coffee or any attention of any kind. It was slow Im a senior so I always look for my moneys worth. Whats a lot if food if its not good or cold.

Interesting food choices! Some fun twists on classics. The food is great, though they are busy an awful lot. But that really just means something there is working. The service has been so-so, not great, but never bad. The breakfast prices are a little higher than I like to spend, but I always have left overs, so it is at least two meals instead of one. The Yo Holla on the Square is great, though very sweet! Omelets are very fluffy.

I was really looking forward to trying this place out. Finally got to and I and others were sadly disappointed. Philly was bland. Everything was mediocre and the prices were astronomical. I probably wont eat here again, food stayed in the window to what seemed like forever the place was very slow too. A couple came in and wasnt even greeted at the door..... come on...

They say,... The fondest memories are made when gather around the table, but quite contrary it was none the less but another spin off of the happy days dinner, no class, no hospitality, no considerate behavior that would suggest polite and respectful behavior regardless of the location in which your business is. Thanks but no thanks, Ill save my money next time.
