For almost 25 years, I have long enjoyed the idea of going to Mrs. Curl - for many of the same reasons listed in the positives of these listed reviews. Its a great feeling to try and support local and small businesses. Unfortunately for me, my perspective changed after a very negative experience with the management and ownership. After my youngest sister received her first paycheck from her new job, she wanted to treat me to an ice cream cone at Mrs. Curl. I understand that people have bad days and dont always act the way they should towards a customer. However, after a misunderstanding on their end resulted in me being yelled at by one of the managers and one of the owners himself yelling at me, my perspective has changed. I stayed calm in the situation, never raising my voice back and tried to communicate calmly where their misunderstanding was. This resulted in the owner eventually calming down but never apologizing for his actions towards me, both as a person and as a customer. I dont feel it is appropriate to treat others this way and with plenty of options available for dessert, I would not recommend or encourage someone to go to Mrs. Curl. I want to support businesses that treat people well - employee and customer alike. After a quarter of a century supporting Mrs. Curl with my money, after meeting the management and seeing how they treat others, I will not support them any more and would encourage others to consider other dessert options as well.

Very rude employee. Will not be returning. It was about 90 degrees when I took my kids to get ice cream. Being so hot the ice cream was melting quickly and creating a mess. There were no napkins at the tables or at the order windows. Upon arrival we were told both windows were open, when I went to the open window to ask for napkins I wasnt getting no response. I politely tapped the window and still nothing. I then slowly opened the window to get someones atttention and a lady rudely slammed the window shut and said the window was closed and when I asked for napkins she said no!! Complete disrespect. after that someone reopened the window and handed me napkins. A few min later a young lady came to apologize on her behalf because she was "pregnant". They need to work on their personal skills before I ever think about returning with my family

It might look like a poorly over decorated mini golf setup. But actually its Greenwoods prized jewel. Located in the downtown area which unfortunately doesnt boast a lot, Mrs. Curls has been satisfying the south sides sweet tooths for years. From the flavor burst soft serve to my personal favorite chocolate malt. Its hard to go wrong with the giant frozen concoction menu they serve. The lines can become long in the summer evenings yes, but isnt anything good worth waiting for?

This is a gem in Old Towne Greenwood! The prices are very reasonable and I have never had anything that I havent enjoyed. The tenderloin sandwich is great and so are the fried pickles. But of course the place is known for their ice cream. All soft serve but that doesnt matter. They have something for everyone. They now even accept credit/debit cards (there is a 3% fee). The seating is a bit limited but its nice to be along the water with the fountain.

Is the ice cream good? Absolutely. Is the food good? Its decent. Is the price fair? More or less. Is the WAIT worth it? ABSOLUTELY NOT. What in the Freak Indiana people?? Over an hour wait for average ice cream?! In the hot summer?? No. Thank. You. Slow, slow, slow, slow... Go to Ritters. They may not have as many offerings as Mrs Curl, but youll get it, eat it, and be back home watching Lost re-runs before the line at Mrs Curl has even moved.

After moving to greenwood a few years ago and discovering Mrs curl the service has only gone down hill with time. Wait times are over an hour for ice cream cone and the coordination of service is the worst. You order and pick up from the same window and this is awful because while they take the person behind you order they are trying to hand you yours. There should be an ordering window and a pick up window.

Long long long lines any time its nice out. I guess that means business is good for them. Me? Wait 30 minutes for basic soft serve ice cream in an admittedly unclassy location (butcher shop next door, old beat up outdoor furniture, old towne greenwood)... No thanks. But the kids like it. Overall youre better off at baskin Robbins. I think this place is mainly for those who live within walking distance of it

AMAZING PLACE!!! Wish I lived closer so I could go more often. Enormous variety of how you want ur ice cream prepared & tons of food, ALL at unbeatable prices! Atmosphere is small town simple & adorable, all outdoor seating but just in case of rain, there r tables under an awning! Worth the 35 minute drive... I will be going back again & again & again etc...

Yes unique flavors but not anything worth standing in a hot stinky line for 20 mins then waiting (going on) 25 minutes for a chilli cheese dog. The girl said she give us our money back but we are still waiting. Not a good experience. Ordered watermelon and blueberry shakes. They were good but not enough to make this wait worth trying again.

This place is iconic for Greenwood, most people just come here for soft serve and to watch the ducks. Theres usually a long line because its so popular with the locals. They have a good range of sizes, even for kids, and you can get your cone dipped or with a flavor twisted in, and of course with a Teddy Graham on top!

Absolutely love this place!!! Everything about Mrs. Curls is unique. They have these old neon signs, and theyre usually playing music from the 60s and 70s from these old time speakers. It really cool to go here at night. I cant explain everything that makes this place so special, you just have to go there yourself.

My family and I have been coming here for years! I still eat the same ice cream today as I did when I was 4! Thank you so much! Wonderful staff, great service, beautiful layout and environment, and of course delicious food and ice cream. So fortunate to have our own Mrs. Curl right here in lil old Greenwood.

If youve never been here go start the car and go. This is a ice cream shop. Its pretty easy to find. This place has flavors from Spear mint to cookie dough. They have shakes, ice cream, floats, Razzles(its like a dairy queen blizzard), food, and great service. I would rate this place 10/10.

Im not totally sure what all the hype is about. We went here twice when we lived in the area, and we stood in line for a LONG time. The food is not great... the ice cream is good, but we honestly preferred going to Ritters where it was much better and usually a shorter wait!

Razzle is a "blizzard-esqu" ice cream served there. It was ok, compared to other small town ice cream shots it didnt have the richness that Ive encountered. Seems the good price is the main thing that keeps people coming back and lining up around the corner in the summer
