My Mom had the worst experience with this diner. On two occasions she found HAIR in our food. The first time she dismissed it as her own hair because she and my Father have been going to the diner for 15 years. The second time she found hair in her mash potatoes and called the manager. The Manager s son named Steve simply denied that the hair found was from his diner and only offered my Mom the money spent for the mash potatoes not the entire seafood meal. My parents have spent a lot of money at this diner over the years and the quality of service has deteriorated. The quality of control during the evening shift is far worst then the day shift ,although, the day shift constantly forgets to place items paid for in the bag when ordering food to go,which forces a patron to return to pick up the item left out of the initial purchase. My Mom did not have the heart to call the Board of Health although I forewarned her that hair follicles contain sweat and can make a person ill. I also forewarned my Mom that she should have been reimbursed for the entire meal not just the mash potatoes ,because once one item in a meal is contaminated the whole meal is contaminated. My parents will not call the board of health due to all the previous years they ate at Coram diner and no hair was in the food but vow to never eat there again. Thus, take my advice and do not eat there unless you do not care if the food is unclean and has hair inside of the food items.

Most staff are excellent but there is one that is very rude and not friendly at all I dont understand why she is a waitress wish I knew her name. Also the online website prices are very much different then the restaurant prices. I ordered 2 spinach pies for the online menu price of " $5:50" so my total would come out to 11 or 12 dollars which was a price I would be willing to pay. Once I went to the diner to pick up my food the cashier tells me my order price is $18.79 I then asked how much they were individualually and she said $8.50 each I explained that the online CORAM diner menu said $5:50. I did not agree to pay 18 dollars when the website said online 11 or 12 for both I told the cashier that I was not going to be buying theses very politely and the rude waitress then said she was going to throw out the food and did not work with me for their own mistakes. She was also very rude and did not listen to what I had to say about the online menu and said theres nothing she will do abou it. Hope Coram diner fixes the WRONG menu so this doesnt happen to anyone else. Very upset customer not pleased with the staff or anything at th diner.

Ordered a chicken parm hero but had to return it bc it was so rubbery you couldnt even cut it. Returned it to get another one only this time it was RAW!!!!! Returned that one and got an entirely different meal with the impression it was free. Got the bill and was forced to pay it...but only because the cops were called. I was so unhappy with the food and the customer service. Will never ever eat there again! After what me and my friend went through youd think they would have been a bit more accomadating. Ive never seen chicken served as flesh. Save your money.. go to applebees!!

Frequent family customers and thats speaks volumes as we love the family run business anchored by sheryl and her sons.popa bear greats and seats us at the door with a welcomed smile and makes you feel at home.The food is top notch and prices are fair as per diners.I am now waiting with my daughter for the wife to awake so I can get my delicious corn beef hash and eggs over easy with a buttered bagel a iced cold oj.see ya there and have a happy and safe 4th of July....the Armannos

I had breakfast there 2x this past week. Service was good to very good. The breakfast was hot and the butter was cold. My tirade: The cold almost frozen butter is a NY thing. They serve butter cold or froze and syrup in a packet. Its done everywhere in NY. UGGH! Not this places fault.

FROM THE MINUTE YOU WALK IN YOURE MADE TO FEEL LIKE FAMILY!!! THEY FEED YOU THAT WAY AND TREAT YOU THAT WAY.MY WIFE AND I HAVE BEEN GOING THERE WELL OVER 5 YEARS NOW AND H AVE NEVER,EVER HAD A NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE!!...WHATEVER YOU DO,DONT MISS THE CORAM DINER!!

My chicken francais lunch special was very good, my husband had chili, which was horrible, he sent it back, more grizzly than meat and there was rice in it, which he cant eat anyway. Service was not good, well probably go to the metropolis dinner next time.

They charge $4.00 for a cup of orange juice, and the manager/owner is rude and nasty. The food is ok but nothing special. I have to give this place a half of star if I could, friends and family dont waste your money

Abdul is the man, ask for him. The grits are amazing, and theyre the only place around with grits. The prices are very reasonable, the service is great and the food is delicious and hot. Best diner around!

Ordered 2 sandwiches, one had hair on the plate which was sent back. Other sandwich was grilled cheese which was undercooked. I refused to eat it and they forced me to pay for it. Never going back again

Breakfast is the best here. Crispy bacon, good fresh coffee. Eggs cooked however you want and done properly. It can get crowded in the AM. But its worth it. Enjoy your stay here
