If I could give it less stars I would. We went there last week and after the waitress took our order and the chef asked what we were having he started preparing the food. After the rice was cooked and served he started on vegetables and gave them to the the couple sitting across from us, my husband and put some in to go containers. I asked where mine was and he said " you have an order"? After that he placed my order, I dont know why he thought it was ok to give me rice if I didnt have an order. He then proceeded to cook the shrimp which my husband and the couple across from us ordered. He gave them shrimp but not my husband. After I spoke up again my steak was cooked, since it was medium rare it was put on the plate first, so now I have cold rice, steak getting cold and still no vegetables. I cancel my order and they act like its the end of the world, charged my husband for his food and hated to take my order off the ticket but did anyway. The most awful service Ive ever had.

My wife and I went in tonight to give this place a try. I am truly impressed, even after a hectic day they gave outstanding service. The waitresses were friendly, polite, and hard working, but not too pushy. We never were in need of anything. The cheffs were very kind, funny, polite, and friendly. The sense of humor is a wonderful feature to have with such cheff/customer interaction. They are very generous on the amount of food you get, our plates were piled high, we were unable to finish and will we having two meals from our meal. The price was actually much cheaper than I had expected for what we got, I have paid much more for far less superior food. I would highly recommend this place!! And they are even very good with children!! You must go, you will surely not be disappointed!

I went on a spur of the moment feeling and was pleasantly surprised. I have not been to a hibachi grill before, so some may disagree with me when I say: this was the best meal Ive had at a restaurant in a long time. I had the steak and shrimp combination. It was full of flavor, the steak was a perfect medium and the shrimp was perfectly cooked. It was a tad salty, but that might have been me. Some may complain about the price, but it was worth it to me. I had enough food for two meals, and it was made in front of me.

Me and my husband went here for date nite it was empty when we went in then tryed to order drinks and they dont serve alcohol. we got soup which was just chicken broth and salt nothing in it. the salad was just lettuce and salad dressing. the steak with our dinner didnt taste right was not a filet mignon like we order. shrimp and rice were ok. the credit card machine didnt work but there was no sign saying that when u walked in. we will not be going back here again

This place was an all around great experience. As soon as me, my 2 year old son, and boyfriend walked in, we were greeted by this happy, cheerful man. He did tricks to make my son laugh and even gave him a toy to keep. The food was fantastic but the service was off the charts. We will be going back. Ps. I surprised this place isnt very busy. Go check them out. You wont be disappointed!

We dont go there often, once a year, maybe twice a year. The service is always great, the owner even remember my daughter loves their soup, and we only been there once! We used to like Hirosaki, but past couple years, their food quality has gone down. Now this is our new favorite Japanese steak house!

Good food, great experience! The owner is very passionate and our chef taught my 12 year old how to juggle an egg on a spatchula. A birthday surprise we will never forget! We went right after church and were the only ones there for a short time. Glad we stayed!

Place was empty at 7:30 on a Sunday night, still had Christmas decorations up. Only served soup before our large party chose to leave. So up tasted like it was from a can, literally had a tin taste. For those who care, the place lost its liquor license.

Ive been here for several years. Is the place the same as it used to be, no....not at all. Ive always enjoyed the rice and shrimp here, but the soup could use A LOT of work. Though I was really worried when I saw a bug crawl across the floor

We went here for my birthday, and glad we did. As the previous review says, the service is off the charts! They are super friendly, and very attentive. The presentation is excellent! Good food and great fun. What more can you ask for?

My favorite Japanese steakhouse. The owner is a really cool guy, the food is excellent, and the prices are great too (especially on the sushi). Kicks Akiras ass because it focuaes on food instead of being trendy.
