After a friend told me about this place, and I tried it for the first time yesterday. After the gym for dinner I picked up a #03 (chicken and mushrooms) and #04 (teriyaki steak and broccoli) and it was awesome! Large portions and great price. $17 total for both of those. The drive-thru was lined around the building, and still the service was excellent and fast. It was below 30 degrees and they even had a staff member going car to car taking orders by hand so they maintained efficiency! Finally a restaurant owner who understands quick service with top quality food equals A LOT OF BUSINESS! Look a Demos - theres a reason the parking lot is completely full all the time. quality food / service at a very reasonable price. Probably why its been voted best restaurant in the Boro something like 11 years in a row. Koji is on that same path!

Koji is great for a quick Asian bite for cheap. Each combo comes with a meat, vegetable, fried rice, and their signature sweet carrots. I personally dont like the carrots, so I forego those, but everything else is great. Broccoli is cooked and has flavor, chicken is always tender, and the rice has never been dry or crunchy. They have an MTSU student discount, so a dinner ends up being less than 8 dollars. Only reason Im giving it 4 stars is sometimes the drive-thru line is frustratingly long, but thats to be expected from a popular takeout place. The interior is clean, but always smells like a hibachi grill, but that isnt the worst thing in the world :) Regardless, Koji is my go-to for a quick dinner with a big portion for cheap. And that Shrimp Sauce!

My mom and I come to Koji every Wednesday for lunch. The staff is awesome, many of them recognize us, some even know our order! They are all very friendly and prompt. The restaurant is always very clean, they are quick to clean tables, 100 on their health score! The food is delicious and a great value. My mom and I can split one dish and still take home leftovers. Weve tried a few other lunch places but always leave disappointed, wishing that we had gone to Koji instead. The owner is there a lot of the time and seems to run a great business.

I went to try out this new hibachi restaurant here in Murfreesboro, TN and was quite surprised how poor the quality the food was for the price they are charging. They served me canned sweet carrots, shrimp that appeared to belong in a salad rather than an entre, then the rice was a very lame attempt at best to be fried rice. Needless to say I will not be returning to this restaurant. As far as service is concerned, there is none. I was summoned to the counter to pick up my food.

A true family restaurant never felt more welcome in a place other then my house. The staff is full of very cheery and youthful local youth. Mangers will go out of there way to make sure your experience is superb no matter the request. Good food and better environment I hope to see this family make it far and prosper in all their doings. Theres never a time Ill pass up going to koji to enjoy a good time and better food.

I know its "westernized fast food" but the least they could do as a "Japanese" eatery is offer Gold Peak green tea since they have black from the same brand. I decided to try this place because I was in the mood for sweet green tea, but obviously that didnt work out. Anyway, food was decent and very very fast. Come here for the speed/convenience. If you have time on your hands, just go to a "real" hibachi restaraunt.

They only get one star cause its not possible to give zero. The reviews of this place are so deceiving. Looks like someones garden shed. All the female cooks did not wear a hair net. One of the cooks actually whipped her hair while in the kitchen to tie it up in a ponytail. Rice had no taste and hibachi was no better absolutely tasteless. I would not recommend this place to anyone. JUST NO! WORST HIBACHI EVER!

I am a friend of Jeannie Mills.the food is great,really great. have been there 3 times in 3 weeks.The same food was different all 3 times,but that was ok because it was delicious all 3 times.Just wish that they would stay open later on fridays & saturdays, like til 11pm like the others in the area.closed on sundays is just fine,that is the Lords day.wished more places would go back to being closed on sundays.

I will ask my 12 year old son where he would like to go and he says "Koji". You cannot beat the price for the Hibachi chicken which is $7.24, plus it is a drive thru if your in a hurry. The carrots are good, sweet and they give a big portion of this really good dipping sauce that comes with it. It has become both my sons and my favorite place to take home, relax and watch some TV while we eat.

They give you a huge container of yum yum sauce to cover up how plain AFFFFF there food is. Dont believe the hype. Its like one of those cooking shows that uses a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper with low quality meat and expect it to be edible. Not good and not worth the price given its a fast food restaurant. Id rather spend a few more bucks and get the real thing. Neeeeeext!

The food here has always been good and the portions are great. The customer service has always been friendly and professional. I have never ordered something and it not be in the bag. This review is for the takeout window only. I have not had the chance to actually go in and eat. I would have rated 5 stars but I feel there is always room for improvement.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. They never rushed us and let us sit and talk well after we were finished. The food is good but not great. They pour on the seasonings, especially a soy garlic based sauce. It tasted good but hid the flavor of the ingredients. I think you pay for the show more than food quality. All in all it was a nice experience.

Great food great people! My order got mixed up yesterday and i called basicly to let them know someone else got mushrooms that they didnt order and they told me to come back today to get a free plate. One of the few places ill go back to after they mess up my order. Cant say enough about how great this place is!!!!

I love koji it might not be as good as most Japanese restaurants but its alot better then like american fast food joints and cheaper too(depending on what you get) me and my wife can feed our selfs for 2 days on less then $20. This place offers discounts to MTSU students also so bring your id if you are one.

The carrots taste like candy! I dont even like carrots and the food here is awesome, fast service, friendly staff, large portions and addictive food like no other place around here. I hope they keep up the service and consistency and if so me and my family will be regulars for sure.
