My husband & I went to this restaurant on Saturday Feb 15th, around 8:30pm. As we walked through the main Hibachi area to our seat , I noticed 5 gallon buckets of water lined up against the wall with rags in them, there were 3 & The floors were a terrible mess. We were seated in a dark room off of the main hibachi dinning room. There was a corridor area with 2 more 5 gallon buckets of water & rags, just off the dark dinning room. In the dark dining room there was a refrigerator, a stand up 2 door metal cabinet, high chairs stacked in the corner w/Boxes of fortune cookies stacked on top of them & the exposed electrical panel there was no lighting except for under the hood. Our plates & my utensils were all dirty. The chef burnt the rice, he mixed all the meat together chicken, seafood, & steak. His customer service was awful, & the place was not clean at all. I wanted to leave as soon as we were seated but I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt, because this is in Hendersonville TN. I tried to chalk it up to being Valentines weekend & maybe they had just been slammed but once I went to the restroom area I noticed how greasy the ceramic tile floor was & how nasty & I will never go back! I think it needs to be shut down or someone needs to get it cleaned up.

Hostess greeting us wearing dressed very unprofessionally. She wore some type of sweatshirt and had on stretch pants with "LOVE" emblazoned in sequins across her rear. Another of the staff wore some type of hoodie with something imprinted on it and stretch pants as well. When one goes to a seemingly quiet restaurant (other than the normal cooking and hibachi noise), one should not be subjected to loud country music blaring through the restaurant. Very annoying and inappropriate...especially given that this is a Japanese themed restaurant!!! Facilities could use some help. Worn seating in regular seating (non hibachi) area. Window blinds have numerous broken slats and really detract from the appearance. The only saving grace was our attentive waitress and the hibachi chef. Food was good. We have been coming her for several years now and have watched the restaurant deteriorate in staff, facility and quality. This is likely our last visit unless we note improvement.

We have gone here a ton and we have loved it. I mean we USED to eat here 2 times a week because my wife loves it. About 3 months ago we ran out of the hibachi place in Gallatin because roaches were on the wall and when we got into Fuji we saw a roach crawling on under the cash register but we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt, mainly because I promised my son hibachi and this was the second stop. Well tonight we sit down and I have to go to the restroom to wash my hands because of the nastiness on the chair and when I came back my wife has a flashlight pointed under the table and she told me to look. It was a cockroach! She said it was crawling on the table and ran under my sons plate. We immediately left after telling the front and went to Kabuto on conference dr. We will never eat here again. I plan on calling the health department tomorrow.

Pretty dumpy place, terrible food, poor service. My wife accidentally said soup instead of salad and then corrected herself. They must have felt that she couldnt make up her mind and decided to punish both of us with salads that were floating in ginger dressing. Fuiji is in Japan and Hibachi is a Japanese style. Yet there are several Chinese items on the menu and I was served a fortune cookie at the end of my meal. Middle Tennessee has a way to go to catch up with more urban areas of the country in that most (almost all) of the restaurants are chain or fast food. If you want a good restaurant you have to go into Nashville. Hendersonville/Gallatin area has very little.

Terrible. Only stayed in there for about 5 minutes. Went in, got a table, ordered two waters. We were already frustrated because there were not any individual sushi rolls so we ordered a plate of sushi and an appetizer. As she went to put our order in we began to drink our water and my fiancé froze and looked disgusted. He showed me his water and there was a cockroach in it. We immediately told a manager, canceled our order and left. He is quite grossed out. We hated to complain because they were nice people but we are completely repulsed by cockroaches as anyone else should be.

Unfortunately I dont have anything positive to say about this place. We waited for almost an hour to get seated which was originally supposed to be at the hibachi table. After a while we gave up and just sat in th dining area. The manager said a man that came in after us was complaining so they seated him there before us. I guess we had to complain to get seated? Then the waiter took forever to take drink orders he never came back to check on us the manager had to take our requests. Then we get the food and the sauce on our food tastes just like BBQ sauce!?! Yuck. Never again

Food is good BUT, My concern is great though....Cross Contamination. The lady is the worst. I refuse to eat her food. She NEVER cleans her spatula from touching raw food to cooked food. All do this to some degree but I was very sick after eating there one evening and she cooked. You have a nice restaurant, good location and good tasting food.....Just take better care to use Separte utensils for raw and cooked foods.

This was once a wonderful place to eat. I have no idea what has happened since my last visit. The menus were filthy, the walls were grimey, and there was an odd odor in the place. The sushi I ordered was mediocre, at best, and the portions were dismal. My son did enjoy the chicken tenders he ordered from the kids menu though. Service wasnt adequate, most likely due to poor training. We will not be returning.

Sushi was horrible. Rainbow roll...I was shocked how it was made. Pretty much whole lot of things was missing from the roll and the Sashimi was horrible too. I dont recommend people to go here to eat. These are the best sushi restaurants Sapporo and Kabuto in Goodlettsville, TN. Fuji in Hensersonsville, TN. needs to be shut down.

Rude and nasty!! I would never ever go back there!! The kitchen is so nasty the health dept should shut them down. The server Emily is terrible at customer service and is extremely rude and unprofessional. Please dont waste your time nor money with this business.

Was invited by my sister law she goes here with her girlfriends. I thought to myself I must be spoiled because Ive eaten great sushi in Californina and Texas but then service was okay. Just okay. Not a fan.

I love this place and their food. Actually thinking about it now makes me want to go there now. Seriously, the experience of watching the Chefs cook in the grills is so much fun with family.

I have tried this place and their one in Goodlettsville but are over priced and the habachi is too salty. Shrimp should not be drowned in tereki sauce and over cooked nor the steak.
