Cleanliness standards suspect and rude owner/manager. We gave this place 3 tries, each time owner/manager was rude & service poor...Most shocking: the 2nd visit one of us found a huge piece of steel wool in his breakfast potatoes. We called to owner over & he acted as though this was an everyday occurrence..did not apologize, just offered more potatoes, which my husband declined. The owner did not even tell the cook to check the batch of potatoes currently being served to ensure that others were not at risk of seriously injuring themselves. Seriously irresponsible. Need I add that absolutely nothing came off the bill? If you value your health, stay away.

Reserved a group of 15 or so! Was told it would be no problem. We were basically commanded that it was time for us to order mere minutes into our reservation time, not everyone had even had enough time to read the menu. Then, after not even being there an hour, we were told by the owner that our time was up. We could hardly believe it. The wait staff is so great, as is the food! Too bad the owner was too pushy to make the meal enjoyable. Were then accused of not tipping after the fact. Never again for me.

Went for dinner with wifey on a rainy night. Very romantic. Private. Super nice staff. Food was delicious and very artsy. Had tomatoe bisque soups, baby kale salad with beetz and goat cheese. Wifey had salmon I had skirt steak ofcourse :-). One of the top places we been to on north shore suburbs. We chose this place due to the fact they get their food from local sustainable sources. Cant wait to go there again and try more stuff.

Not only did we never receive a refill on coffee until asking, we were told people were waiting on our table (we had just received the bill ) Never again, that was so rude, we were sitting outside and apparently these people wanted an outside table. We were stared down till we left 5 minutes later. Not to mention it was the owner saying it! I was shocked

Only had brunch there but its well worth going. The food tastes really fresh. They know their way around brunch staples, and the reuben there is dope. They serve really good coffee. The service is fine, although it leaves a little to be desired. Its always busy, so expect a wait.

No longer just a breakfast place- now a full-service restaurant. Had 1 dinner here. Food delicious. Great service. Menu a bit limited, but will change every few months. No specials. Everything we had was great. A terrific addition to north shore.

Breakfast was very good. Quick service. $3.50 cup of coffee? Cleanliness could be improved significantly (table not wiped down, dirty cup). Tables by the bathrooms arent ideal.
