This place doesnt seem to have its act together yet, which is a shame because it could be SO good. The place has a nice vibe and a seemingly great menu (though super confusing to decipher once you get close enough to read it--like, it doesnt say ANYWHERE that an egg or toast comes with the hash...and we didnt even get our toast besides), but the set-up seems quite inefficient (and made me and my boyfriend feel uncomfortable). As it is right now, you stand in line, order, sit, and wait for your name to be called. But coffee is behind the counter, which seems to take up a lot of time when it could just be placed in self-serve containers. It was also unclear what you were supposed to do with your used dishes (though it was marked on the wall), because some people had left their plates on their tables instead of clearing them (and space is very limited). And some had left their plates near the bus station instead of in the tub, which was kind of tucked away and maybe (?) not as noticeable as it could be. The portions were definitely out of whack. My boyfriend got the daily special "succot-HASH" and there were barely any veggies/hash in the dish. Actually, it seemed that with most of the hash dishes, the egg that comes with it is the "main dish" and the hash/greens are just a side---doesnt make sense for a category called "hash." We expected an egg (after we learned it came with an egg) on a bed of hash. I think there were 5 corn kernels in my boyfriends whole dish---clearly the cooks (it was so bad, Im going to give the benefit of the doubt to some kind of miscommunication) didnt know what succotash is supposed to be. Also: This place does have vegetarian options, but I dont think they use separate grilling spaces for the meat dishes and the veggie dishes, so bacon fat, for example, is probably in everything.

This breakfast/brunch/lunch/hangout in far Western Ukie Village may be famous for its Hash-themed entrees, but dont overlook the awesome extras! With a coffee/bagel express hour each morning at 7AM, the owner whips up batches of giardiniera cream cheese on the regular for the bagels. Im addicted to the stuff and am willing to walk across the hood just for this condiment (extra please?), even tho its out of my way to work. They also serve Dark Matter Coffee, so Im sold. If you come back to brunch, the squash salad and The Breakfast Club hash are both to die for as well!

Hash is one of my absolute favorite places to eat in Chicago! Their hash is so comforting and delicious. Ive only had a few of the different hashes, but I keep going back for more. My favorite is the Breakfast Club. It has grilled chicken, bacon, grilled romaine, tomatoes and an egg on top of potato hash. And its topped with homemade ranch dressing?! Perfection. To top it all off, they serve dark matter coffee. I go here at least once a week and highly suggest it to anyone that wants a delicious breakfast with high quality ingredients and friendly service.

Great experience ordering food for my staff. Delivery was quick, accurate, and on time! Great selections for everyone. Some of my favs were the Pork, Bubble, & Squeak (w/ the Bacon Fate Hash, of course!), the Grilled Cheese, and the Grilled Greek Chicken Salad. You cant go wrong with this spot, and my staff loved it so much well be ordering from them again soon!

Poblano omlette was bomb!!! So good that I didnt even get to take a picture of it. I also tried the cream of mushroom which had actual fresh mushrooms which I had never experienced before and absolutely delicious. The coffee was great and it was packed when I arrived but definitely worth the 5 minute wait for a table. I literally thanked a cook.

The actual hash isnt too bad and I never tried anything else so I cant speak for the rest, but you have to put up with fake hipsters that are very rude when you order and we were overcharged on a few side items frequently. Its lucky we are nice people because the opportunist could easily make some easy money.

Food was decent. Chilaquiles were amazing, the chicken dish with ranch was meh. They have topo chico which was great! Its the best sparkling water in the world. Outside of the food, they messed up both of our orders and there was hair in my food. They did refund me. Likely I just had a one off experience.

As a corned beef hash fan I was expecting a little more out of a place named for it. I also wasnt the biggest fan of the counter ordering, usually when I go out for breakfast I want to sit in a both, have my coffee filled several times and relax. Getting up repeatedly for everything was a little awkward.

The food was good... When i went it was super packed and I lost my table because my friend came late...but the staff was extremely nice. I think they should expand though because its super awkward for guests to stand in the back hallway while waiting for a table.

Food came out really quick and the outdoor seating was nice. My food wasnt the best in the world (feta, sweet potato, red onion omelette) but I would go here again and get something different. Decent pricing. Butter and toast was really good!

This place is our reigning champ for pleasing out of town guests with a super dope brunch. Bottomless good coffee--metric I think--and breakfast dishes that actually wow. They live up their name. Our veg friends were super impressed.

Great breakfast place -- love the concept of eggs on top of stuff on top of hash. Its nice they give two sizes as the small was the perfect poriton. It does get pretty busy in on a weekend morning, so dont expect fast service.

It was my first time here today and I have to say I loved everything about Hash. Everything from their friendly staff, flavorful savory chilaquiles, and ambiance makes this place a great brunch spot. I will be back soon!

I love this place soooo much! Never fails to be amazing. The specials are always great. I recently had an Italian beef eggs benedict that was to die for. The fried french toast is my usual go to when going there though.

Friendly atmosphere and staff and awesome breakfast food. Savory or sweet, they have you covered. Consider ordering the small hash unless youre sharing. Im not a small guy and the large is way to much for me.

Stopped here for breakfast and liked it, ate on the patio which was quiet and the food was good but not great. Id recommend the bagel sandwich versus the omelettes. Staff was polite, everything was clean.

Cozy neighborhood brunch spot. I really enjoyed the small truffle hash -- perfect combination of rich flavors and roasted veggies. The space is small and gets very busy on the weekends.
