When we first came to IHOP the open sign was off, the overall ihop sign was off. We were unaware if they were open. We walked in and had to wait 4min or more to be seated because there was no hostess nor waiters. Once the hostess finally came inwhich she looked completely unprofessional in leggings and her hair not brushed. Come to find out she couldnt seat us yet because she was yelling in the back asking who drank her drink. Once we ordered our food the waiter Mary sat the food down and left. I had to call her over to give us a refill even though when food was sat down we didnt have any drinks in our glass. We had to wait forever for the refills. We had no warm syrup at our table in which I always get when I go to the IHOP in Lansing IL. She came I asked for warm syrup she said can you hand me the syrup on your table and Im going to put it in the microwave. That to me and my wife is not something you tell us, we want to at least think its somewhat fresh. We then ate our food and had to wait over 15 min for a ticket. We could ask another waiter to get ours because there was NO ONE at all as far as IHOP employees in site. The hostess was in the back corner on her phone people had to wait five min to be waitied on because of her. Then as we were waiting this man walks in the door in his street clothes and a cigarette pants sagging hood on and everything and walks straight into the kitchen who wants to see that. IHOP should not have let him hang out back there with everyone else that is completely unprofessional. We are still waiting at this point. We can head to cooks and the waiter yelling back and forth about over cooked French fries. By that time she finally comes over after we are VERY dissatisfied and asked us how was Everything I explained horrible can we please get our ticket so we can go home. She said what was wrong I stated the service and environment she Then said "what the hell?" And walked away and told her coworkers. We then had to wait on to pay. The lady then comes over being smart and asked how was Everything when she already knew. No manager came to talk to us at all. We then had paid 30.87 inwhich I had no problem with because we did eat the food in which was cold due to waiting for syrup. With all this being said I will never go back to the Crestwood IL IHOP again. They were no busy at all last night they had only 5 tables and two at each 2. I could understand if they were busy but they were NOt!

Around 2 in the morning when i just got home from work, me and my boyfriend decided at the last min to go out to eat at this location for the first time. Right when were about to sit down our sever noticed that our table havent wipe down yet. So she has asked one of the guy to wipe it and he made sure everthing was wipe down, even the seat wasnt all the way dry our server was fanning it with the menu while the other guy went to go get a dry towels. That absolutely made us feel really special..what was more impressive about this location is that our server didnt even need no pen or paper, she pretty much memorize it...wow!! She has everything thing right too...kudos to you girl!! Our food came out fast and everything was perfect just the way i thought it would be!! About an hour after that we were getting ready to go im checking my pockets for the car key and i couldnt find it.....because they were locked inside the CAR!! Just my luck right? I start asking one of the fornt cashier for a hanger, she said she will look for one but she couldnt find any. About 10 mins later the store manager name Samatha and Marco came outside and asked us if we need help, they were definitely was really concerned about us and offered us with any kind of help. They even gave us hot chocolate since it was so cold outside!! My overall experienced was unforgettable great hospitality. We are home safe and sound now because of all your help. Thank you so much! You guys are amazing!!

Worst IHOP I have ever been too! We had a party of seven, waited for 15 min for the table to be cleaned, I guess they forgot about the chairs and the floor underneath, since the chair was full of crumbs and the floor was covered with egg and who knows what else!. The Service was pretty bad as well, I think the young lady had just to many people with no help in sight. She forgot half of our order! Then there was a problem with the food OMG the fries had enough grease flowing out of them to fry a fresh batch! After requesting a new order of fries, I think they just squeezed the oil out and re-fried the same plate fries that was sent back! When we brought this to the attention of our server she reduced the bill by the amount of the fries instead of taking the whole meal off as the fries came with a meal which by the way was chicken strips, those were some very expensive strips! Our bill came up to a hefty $87.66. Now I have to give credit where credit is due, we did speak with the manager. We expressed our dissatisfaction with our entire experience and he reduce our bill to $72.62. I hope this never happens again !!! Note: The one star is because I had to post!!

I was wrongfully charged for a group meal because the staff didnt want to deal with my friends dissatisfaction. While my friend was standing behind me talking with the manager about his meal. I requested that the cashier cash me out me out for one item on the receipt. So we could all start paying for our food and be on our way. After I grabbed the receipt from my friend to give to the cashier, instead of charging me that one item she charged me the entire meal. I demanded that they reverse the inflated charge because we were all paying separately. But they refused because it was easier to penalize me for someone elses bad experience. Telling me, "Theyre your friends. So you can just get the money from them." I havent been back here since, but it still piss me off to this day. I refuse to ever go here again. If youre having problems with a customer, deal with him. Dont take it out on me because he had to send his food back 3 times for you to get it right.

I visited this IHOP today at 6:27pm. The experience would have been decent had the restaurant not have been humid, a irritating fly, and the establishment hadnt been out of to go containers "so she say". Upon ordering we saw a lady leaving with a bag of food in take out containers. So I drove across the street to the grocery store and purchased some. I decided to do that because our waitress didnt offer any solution or seemed as if she cared. Not mention the fact that I saw someone leaving with one when I returned. I paid enough that any extras, I wanted. Bad customer service!
