Food is absolutely delicious BUT disappointed when I headed out for lunch on Black Friday with my family and was told there were no lunch specials for the day due to the holiday. When has Black Friday become a legal holiday? We ate there that day and tried to overlook the dinner prices. BUT the following week we headed out for lunch again it was 2:50 when we arrived hoping we would make the lunch specials that end at 3:00 and the waitress who seems very unhappy said lunch was no longer being offered. I currently deleted my 5 star review due to these 2 incidents. Will be looking for another local Thai restaurant.

My husband & I have been searching & searching for really good Thai food in the area for about two years, & we finally found it! Sure, there are "ok" places to get adequate Thai food, but we havent been pleased with the curry dishes until trying Mai Thai. Excellent flavor, high quality meat (often this is hard to find), & its definitely going to be our place for Thai from now on. They have efficient carry out service, and they also deliver!

This restaurant is by far and away the best Thai restaurant I have found in the greater Downers Grove area. Thai food has become extremely common, and much like Chinese food, has become so commoditized that one place is much like another. I found Mai Thai to be a wonderful exception. The curries are more flavorful, the pad woon sen is excellent, and despite this you can always find a seat.

I had dinner a few times there with frienss and it was great food. What I would like to do next is to try their lunch buffet for around $8 or so before tax and tip as I have never had Thai food lunch buffet before. So when I have the lunch buffet there I will update you with more info

Absolutely loved everything we ordered. We had the Indian curry, Pad Si-Ew and Pad Thai, all were delicious and generous portions. Had enough to take home for left overs.

My first experience with Thai food. Had the Pad Thai w/ckn. Very good. Not at all spicy as I feared. Next time I will try a dish with more vegetables in it.
