has been very reliable and the food is tasty! great noodles (my fave is roast pork), delicious crispy wontons, decent egg rolls. i think this is among the best "fast food" style chinese food in the west suburbs. just discovered this place about 3 months ago and have ordered about 5 or 6 times now. each time was really good. i know this is "made for americans" chinese food, so take this review more from that category. (IMHO)

Ordered for the first time and asked for delivery. I was told it would be 45 mins, the food arrived 90 mins. later and was nasty and ice cold. I called the restaurant to see what they could do and they said the driver was busy and there was nothing that they could do for me. Apparently East Wind does not know how to run a business or a thing about customer service. I would never return.

Exactly what you expect from an old school, hole in the wall Chinese food place. Dont expect to eat in. The ambiance is ok, but this is more of a call ahead and pick up place. Seating is available, but is really just for those who would rather eat anywhere than their office. Food is a tad on the greasy and sweet.

Great food! Fresh and delicious. Egg rolls are fantastic. Combo specials for lunch $6.50 and dinner around $7.50 include 1 egg roll and fried rice. A lot of it. Carry out. Have a few tables if you want to eat here. Small place but great fresh food. Carry out.

pretty standard chinese/american fare, never had an issue with many deliveries and pickups. they also have smoothies and bubble tea which is an excellent thing to have at your disposal if you care for such things!

Always have had delivery. Food was always fresh and the service was fast. The General Tso is great but the Sweet & Sour chicken although very tasty seems to have way more bread than chicken.

The food is usually not freshly prepared and way, way too salty. I requested less salt in the food but the owner said that is the way it comes.
