It upsets me to review Red Dragon but the public must be made aware...I work about 10 minutes away from Red Dragon. The food used to be great! Gradually that dwindled down to sub-par and eventually to uneatable. The chicken tastes reheated and rubbery, the chef needs to wake up or something as this has happened several times, where the food was unprepared and unsanitary for consumption. Staff may seem friendly, but that does not mask how awful they prepare there food and the lack of care and thought put into it. Satisfy your appetite someplace else, your stomach will thank you. Red Dragon Chef if youre reading this, you need an attitude adjustment, sir...youre one sick person.

I visited Red Dragon shortly after it first opened. I decided to visit because the advertisement posted outside claimed that it served NY style Chinese food...Im from NY so that appealed to me because I grew up eating good Chinese food. I have been quite pleased with the food that Ive eaten at Red Dragon and am glad that it has been able to stay open. The restaurant only has a couple of tables and the atmosphere has no major appeal, but it is a great place for take out and they deliver as well. Their delivery time has greatly improved over the past year. This is the only Chinese food place I order from now.

If I can give this restaurants zero stars I would. First of all, the lady that took my order over the phone was super rude. I ordered a combination chow mein & I got something that looked nothing like it. It was nothing close to chow mein & they gave us something that looked like Chinese cereal in a bag. Food seemed almost raw, I took one maybe two bites and decided not to finish it. I was extremely grossed out!! My coworkers and I will never go back there ever again

I am so surprised so many people were unhappy with Red Dragon! My family and I have been coming here since we moved to Elmhurst, 15 years ago. We love the food and we know our order before we go in, although we try to try 1 new dish each time. We love orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, sweet and sour pork, beef with broccoli, egg fo young, egg rolls, and so many more! The BEST Chinese food around!!

Family owned. Very friendly. Food is so good. Served fast. Good portion sizes and the prices. Such a cute, well decorated restaurant area. Plenty of space to sit. I love their shrimp schezuan and spicy fried rice. Pick up orders are done super fast which I love! I dont know if they still do this but you get a 10% discount with student ID. I loved going here as a college student.

First of all, I couldnt give half a star so just know I meant to actually give it 2 and a half stars. I gave 2 and a half stars because it wouldnt be fair to rate it high or low because I never ate food from this place before. We barely ordered food today for pickup. Once my brother comes back with the food, Ill be able to eat it so yeah I cant say if its good or bad yet. Sorry

Ive never dealt with such horrible service in my life. The waiter wouldnt give us a moment of peace and another employee had been incredibly rude to us. The food tasted mediocre and like it was just microwaved (and it probably was due to how quickly it came out of the kitchen). Id never come back here and neither would my boyfriend. Also, dont order the spicy and sour soup!

Living here in Elmhurst for 25 years, weve eaten for years at the Red Dragon. But about a year ago, we switched to another place because of the salt and grease! What has happened to this place! I just tried it again, and the Chicken Almond Ding was so salty I could not swallow it. Dont waste your money here! (Unless you love salty grease.

Absolutely disgusting. We waited over an hour for our food. When we finally got it it was cold and rubbery. When we asked to not be charged so we could leave our uneaten food on the table, they tried to charge us for our barely-touched appetizer. It was a joke. Absolutely awful, cant believe theyre still in business.

Red Dragon had been the most amazing Chinese food I ever ate. I ate there religiously my whole childhood and young adult hood. A few years ago everything changed. Ill eat there occasionally, due to mediocre food. I think there was a change in ownership. Too bad

By far one of the best places Ive eaten at. The chicken chop suey is the Best! I usually eat here but today I tried a different place that had reviews saying it was the best. And guess what? It wasnt even close. Wish I would of just ordered here.
