The service was horrid!! On Mothers Day of all days, dinner was ruined. My moms fish came out late, half the size as mine (both catfish), dried out, and flavorless. When we finally saw our server, my mom asked to change her meal to the parmesan chicken, she only had 1 bite. We were then told that they ran out and our server didnt think they could take her meal off. We asked for a manager. Another server came over, Joe...this is were its gets horrible! We explained the situation, and he accused her of eating half of her food and then asking for a refund. She literally had eaten 1 bite of fish, 1 bite of rice. When she told him she had not, and told she was offended, he started to apologize and then mid-sentence CLAPPED HIS HANDS IN OUR FACE, SAID HE WASNT GOING TO TAKE OFF ANYTHING, AND STORMED AWAY. We sat there stunned. He tried to initially say they had been told not to remove any meals on Mothers day. You cant make up rules to convince you and not your customers and not have that information posted for consumers. Furthermore, she attempted to get an alternative and they didnt have it available. As we sat there waiting for someone more professional to come, apologize, and correct the situation, it never happened. At least 10 minutes went by, finally our server returned as if nothing was wrong. I asked for the owner or someone with more authority. Then we waited again for our server to come back and say she called the owner and theyll take off the 1 meal and theyre sorry. As if they did us a favor. Had to go find my mom food elsewhere after she and my family were completed disrespect on Mothers Day. Never again!

Eh... I guess I dont agree with 3 stars being A-OK. Came here on a Monday night after seeing this place on Check Please! as we havent seen the best reviews for this place prior, but how could 3 guests from the show be wrong? They can... So service was great. Our server was very nice which is why the 3 stars was given. Decor was also fine so now up or down for that category. The issue was the food. It was just okay to not good. Buffalo Shrimp: Very good. It is like Hooters, but better taste. Would come back for just this appetizer. Special Appetizer: Hen of the woods mushrooms... Wife and I love mushrooms. Problem was the batter was very thick and just didnt taste good. The sauce was not good and the batter and overall taste was of too much bitterness probably from too much garlic. Halibut Special: This one was pretty good. There was a lot of rosemary all over the place though that overpowered the delicate taste of this white fish. Blackened catfish: I asked for smashed potatoes with this preparation, but was given the cajun side instead. I think it was rice with andouille sausage and other cajun items. The fish was fine and I was given the potatoes I requested when I mentioned the error. Just nothing was a great stand out for it though. The bread we were given was cold and was just bread. Really besides the service everything was just okay. Factor in the price and I would rather go into the city. Overall, I would give this place slightly under 3 stars if I could. Its not quite "A-OK", but rather its "Just OK".

We ended heading up to the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater for a concert and decided that some great seafood would be the perfect pre-music dinner. Having made reservations for six ahead of time getting seating was a breeze and with how packed the place was I suspect that was a good idea. Everyone at the table enjoyed their dinner and drinks and I dont think anyone ordered the same thing. The waiters were all friendly and refills came quick. In fact the only time they took their time was when we needed our check, thankfully we had planned for having plenty of time prior to the concert so this was more of an inconvenience than a concern. Parking was a bit of a pain though Im not sure if that is normal or was just from how busy they were that night. Overall, a tasty and filling experience. We arent local for a casual dinner here but I could see us all returning here before another concert.

That’s about the best piece of fish I ever had. I say this every time we go out to Tin Fish. At Tin Fish it’s all about the freshest product available and impeccable service. Copper River Salmon, Nantucket Scallops, Fresh not frozen Alaskan king crab just to name a few. Only the best seasonal products offered at a great price and huge portions. The wine list mirrors a downtown restaurant but with much more reasonable prices. The entire staff works closely together bring you a great dining experience. Being located in the center of the country they take advantage of east coast, west coast and gulf products. They even contract a private seaplane to fly in fresh Alaskan king crab during the season. Once again I have to say “that’s about the best piece of fish I ever had”!

Out of interest and hunger bearing heavily within me on that hot summers day I entered The Tin Fish. I tried swordfish for the first time and it was superb! The portions were good as well. The service however was not. The blonde attendee made me wait while she talked to someone for quite some time laughing jovially until her comrade pointed in my direction notifying her that I was still waiting. I went at around three or four oclock in the day and I was the only one waiting because I had a To-Go order and there was barely anyone there. I really like the restaurant but please do not make people feel as if their business is not important-I hope this was just one isolated incident.

We have been to tin fish a few times over the last month. The first time was just a quick glass of wine and order of oysters at the bar. The oysters were great but the bartender was very disinterested. We were the only ones there so maybe they just opened for the day. However, last night we went to tin fish for dinner and had a disappointing dinner. The food was quite good but the server was amazingly rude and acted as if we were putting him out by being there. Wow. My husband actually asked for a recommendation on preparation choices and the guy rolled his eyes. We had to have the hostess take our check back to the guys since he couldnt care less. WOW

The resturant is nice and Kristin the bartender was great. Sarah our waitress however, not so great. We waited way too long to have our orders taken. Not due to them being busy. I had quite a bit of food left over but was never asked if I would like to take it to go, my plate was simply taken away. Three of us had dinner together, we are here on business and Sarah refused to give us three separate checks, which we need for expense reports. And to top off our evening, Sarah later found us back at the bar talking, where she approached us to complain about her tip. Where I am from, that is simply out of line.

Customer service was not good. From the beginning was awful. The waitress had an attitude because some of our party was late and it was busy. They treated the table like we didnt deserve to eat there. We waited for our dinner for almost an hour and it was not all that. Then it took all day for us to get the check. We asked the bill to be split and it confused the waiter to the point that I felt sorry for him...he still got stuff wrong even though it took over 30mins to cash us out. I will NEVER come back. Just AWFUL!
