I have been there several times over the years and was astonished by yesterdays food & service. I ordered a burger after the waitress made me wait to place my order right when I told her we were ready when she brought the drinks. She said hold on a minute and she went to grab the coffee and served another table, then asked around different tables if they wanted coffee. Then she went to grab the check for the table behind me and started giving instructions about something. She finally came over I placed my order. When my plate came I bit into the Kruger and it tasted like they just threw the burger pattie on the pan and cooked it with no seasoning. Who wants to eat a cooked piece of cow? When I complained, the waitress and cashier lady said that they dont season it because too many people dont eat seasoned meat due to health issues, but so many other places do it it. Then they told me to season it with the salt and pepper on the table which I attempted prior to complaining and it didnt taste any better. I was eating the fries on the plate and had eaten the soup that came with the burger and when they came by to ask me if I wanted to order something else, I just ordered toast. I wasnt even done eating the fries, there were about less half left and the waitress took the plate away from me. I figured they would remove the plate charge of $10 for the inconvenience. We also ordered Mac and cheese and my son said it tasted awful, mind you this was before I had even complained to the waitress. We ordered chicken tenders and they were soggy. Needless to say I went to pay and saw a $30 bill. They charged me for the soup, fries (that I didnt even finish eating), & when I went to complain the cashier was saying she saw me eating the fries with an attitude. I told her I was eating them when the waitress took my plate away. She didnt even ask if I wanted to finish them, & still had the nerve to charge me. I was so upset and still gave the waitress a tip being that she was an older woman. I was respectful the whole time even though they gave me an attitude & worst part, had to pay for a meal that tasted terrible. I will never eat there again!

We gave this place two tries and are not going back. They are very expensive and you dont get a lot of food - at least the 6 dishes we ordered. #1 Visit- We went for breakfast. Whoever said the serving is large didnt order what I ordered. I had french toast with eggs. I left wanting more especially since my scrambled eggs tasted HORRIBLE. Ive never had such poor tasting eggs in a restaurant. I actually had to mention it to the waitress and have it exchanged for runny eggs that covered my plate in mess. They dont allow you to order over hard eggs. Its the cooking oil they use that made me exchange the eggs, it made them taste nasty! For my son, he was on the fence with ordering and the waitress offered to order a la carte. Usually they are in your best interest, but doing this our bill was so much higher than it would have been! I wish she would have warned us. Service could be better on both visits. #2 Visit- We went for lunch. We didnt have butter, we didnt have bread plates, we had to ask to have our water filled. The lady forgot my sons milk that was included. Soup didnt taste all that great - just tasted like normal "out of a vat" restaurant chicken rice soup. Corned beef sandwich was a bit dry and overheated. Their foods just average at best and they use a lot of nasty cooking oil. My son hated his kids pizza and he filled up on fries and milk. :( On a side note the outside is ugly but the inside is beautiful. They need to invest in some landscaping or outdoor beautification. Glad I used a Groupon on both visits but I still feel like we overpaid on both! Not going back!

Visited Southern Belles two weeks ago for the first time and I enjoyed it. On Friday, I went back with my fiancée and it was his first time there. I ordered a tomato/bacon/avocado omelette and my fiancée ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. My omelette was good, though the tomato did taste a bit old. My fiancées cheesesteak sandwich was a completely different story. To start off, the steak wasnt chopped up, but then he tried the meat and said he didnt like it. I tried it and immediately spit it out. We opened up the sandwich and realized the meat was red in several different places and it both smelled and tasted like perhaps the meat had gone bad. Our waitress was very nice but she didnt come back for a good while so he wasnt able to order anything else right away so we ended up just splitting my food. When she eventually came back I told her about the sandwich and she apologized and since she could tell he hadnt taken more than a bit she removed it from our check. While I appreciate her making this right, the fact that something like that would even be served is disappointing and could have potentially gotten someone sick. If we go back we might just stick to the breakfast items instead.

Really enjoyed our recent Repast Luncheon for about 90 people. The food was excellent and the staff was wonderful and quite helpful .... especially Moe! I worked with her to set up the whole reserved affair. Moe and the set-up staff worked tireless to make our sad occasion effortless and as pleasant as possible. Again, the family styled food was delicious, the place was clean & roomy. Thanks to Moe and staff, we were very pleased with our event. I recommend it to any one needing this service. I have had other meals there prior to this luncheon. Their breakfast pancakes and sausage are sooooo good. Large servings and very tasty!

The best pancake house ,services are awesome Waitress Judy she is the best waitress ,myself included never had a person so happy taking care of customers ,make you feel like family that why I will keep coming back every Sunday for breakfast just because they have a great food, awesome service with the family atmosphere, If you want to have a great breakfast with you family and a place that they tried you good you have to come here

Very large portions! Food was good. The place is understaffed, but the waiters and waitresses did the best that they could. Hard workers. The place does not give military discounts, but told us that if were civil servants, we would get one. Also, they dont tell you that you can only use one Groupon per visit. That wasnt made clear to us. However, if you want good food with large portions, this is the place to visit!

After waiting for 45 min, we were seated on a folding table. We were expecting excellent service because you should and it was terrible. Our server was 110 years young and could not keep up with our party. They didnt any cookies for my starving child. I much rather preferred to go to taco bell

We took a small funeral party of 15 and everyone ordered something different. The portions were amazingly huge. They understand how to serve a big group. Comfort food, salads, soups. It is the way to keep a small, hungry group quickly fed. Gobs of left overs.
