Went to Hakka Wok with my wife and a friend on a quiet Sunday afternoon. Food ordered was Shrimp Pakora in starters and Burnt Garlic Fried Rice, Orange Chicken and Ginger Fried Rice for my friend. Food was good but they took hell lot of time to prepare. Honestly wasnt much problem since the starters came in quick and we chatted away till the main course came. Service for food was ok and overall food quality was good too. Then why the 1 star. Thats because these guys are cheat. I paid the bill of $53 through card and left them a $10 tip in cash, however I forgot to strike out the tip panel in the merchant receipt copy. To my utter surprise when I when I checked my statement the next morning I saw $64 taken out for me. These guys put in an extra $10 in the tip panel. Amazing!!!! So just be careful people. I would never go back there again. NEVER EVER HAKKA WOK.

I really like the food here. Although I dont like being told "the tip is not included" when Ive already given a fair tip. This has happened on multiple occasions and its really bothersome. Its always the same waitress who does this. It seems like shes always asking for more even though I always tip more than 15% Its a bit insulting, since they know I go there regularly. However, the other waiters are really good, just my luck. Its literally just one waitress that ruins my experience there. Ill still go back for their dry chilli fries though.

Food wasnt anything worth remembering. They tried their own style of indochinese and I wasnt feeling it. The worst part about it is this one waitress!!! I dont know how more people are not complaining about her. Shes rude, makes you feel so uncomfortable, and takes the time to remind you to tip her... I cant explain how uncomfortable she made my whole family feel as well as her horrible attitude. I would have probably not even bothered to write review since I never do, but shes just the worst.

I felt the food was a little overpriced for the quality of the food. It was okay, just not great. Certain dishes are good while others are lacking. Not likely to return or recommend. They messed up on my order not once twice. I placed an order for carry-out. When I reached home and realized they didnt give me my full order. I called them to complain how my order was missing two items. Instead of reimbursing me or compensating me in some way or form, they gave me attitude.

BEST Indo-Chinese food by miles. Good quantity, great service and awesome taste Picked-up to go and dined in multiple times. Tried all the other Indian Chinese restaurants in the area. We could differentiate the curries (Manchurian / Szechuan etc...), not like the other restaurants where the base is the same. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Chicago / Schaumburg area. some of my friends come to eat here from as far as Wisconsin.

I dont understand how people can give good reviews for this place. The place was horrible. I went there because I saw some good reviews and their menu had a lot of options. Unfortunately the quality of food was very bad. Seemed like the food were prepared several days in advance. The service was not very great either. Given the quality and quantity of the meal, it was also overpriced. Wouldnt recommend for anyone.

First time customer and will continue coming back. Food was good! Spicy and could even go spicer if I just mention it. Waitress was helpful, bathroom decent. Husband order fried rice and fired chicken, it was surprisingly good. I got some spicy noodles and chili fish. I thought the fish was a whole fish but its nuggets. It was good! Give this place a try regardless of the other reviews. Im glad I did.

I may be wrong. Indian friends its not indo Chinese restaurant, its pure chinese. I got to know the moment I opened fried rice box. Its not worth paying. I had fried rice n baby corn but both were not at all good. Rice were smelly looks like its in refrigerator for weeks. corn wasnt cooked properly. Total dinner was just a waste.i will never go again. The second star is for the quick service.

Have been here for lunch and dinner. Food is good but the service is always awkward. The one time I went for dinner they made us wait 40-45 minutes for our food. We were really hungry so we waited. Today I went for lunch and midway thru eating my lunch the only worker there puts the check on the table. I havent ask for the check so found that to be weird as if they are trying to kick me out.

If you always wanted Chinese food with cheese this is the place! Among the best Chinese weve had. Our server was exceptionally informative and friendly. The calamari was the best weve had with a really nice spice mixture. Note that the food is halal so there is no pork--mapo tofu was vegetarian. Dont miss this exceptional cuisine!

This place is great and is run and owned by former Hot Wok Cook and Manager. The food is like Hot Woks if not better. I missed Hot Wok for so long and I am very happy that they opened Hakka Wok. It is a great place and brought back many fond memories of Hot Wok.

One of the best Indo chineese food places. Its really affordable place. I wouldnt suggest for a dinning but for a carry out its the best place. chicken lollpop is must try dish. I am sure this place will take back to you the street side chineese food in india.

BAD FOOD WORST SERVICE. Tangra style indo chinese?? Indian street food are better in taste and hygene... so think before you go there, well no gas or heater in this chicago winter, you have to have your food with your jacket on you.

The food here is great. Its a fusion of Asian and Indian. Although the dining area is small its worth a wait. The food is excellent and the wait staff is happy to help you choose an appropriate entree.

Delicious food especially the hot garlic wontons and the chicken lolipops. Got inspired for eating chinese food here. Kind staff and amazing food. I would recommend trying their chinese food. Love It!

Disgusting food. The chicken was hard and raw tasting and the masala pop tastes and smells like boiled eggs. Horrible and overpriced.
