I have never ordered something from Stacked that I didnt like. The pancakes are light and fluffy, almost melt in your mouth. I may go out on a limb and say, They are the best pancakes Ive ever had! The skillets are plentiful, and not overly potatoed, as Ive seen elsewhere. Im a fan of the Irish Eyes Skillet! The omelets are delicious! And if you arent into breakfast, their salads and sandwiches are great too! Im partial to the half avocado stuffed with chicken salad. The chicken salad is prepared just right, not oniony or heavy on the mayo. And enough to take home for dinner or the next days lunch. The only downside is that the broth based soups tend to be a little... gelatinous.... Go with the Greek Lemon, its delicious. The service is always friendly and helpful, the seating can be a bit limited, but its worth the wait. Its a cute quaint place and always clean. I made the sad mistake of cheating on Stacked today. I took a drive and wound up at Blueberry Hill in Homer Glen. I had heard great things and thought Id try it out. It only reaffirmed to me how lucky I am to have Stacked practically in my backyard.

Stacked doesnt deserve at star at all! I had a very racist and upsetting experience here. I ordered food to go over the phone and they never told me how much the food cost until I we got there. My boyfriend and I go out to eat often so we know how much our usual breakfast cost (around $20-$25). We got there and a two person meal was $35. My boyfriend was going to use a $25 visa gift card and use the rest on his debit card (college students). The owners wife said shouldnt do it like that?! So you telling me you cant split the bill to accommodate us (we left without the food). A few weeks later we tried it again but we were going to pay on one card. The lady used our telephone number against us and threaten us she will call the police if we didnt pay for the meal from last time (the one we didnt eat or take home!). I didnt deserve to be threaten since I am a easy going and a patient person. Therefore, I paid $70 for 4 meals and two in which we didnt eat! Never going back and not recommending this place to no one!

I ordered a side of french toast, and 1 meal with french toast, eggs and hash brown. The waitress didnt explain that the french toast came with about 6 slices of french toast. I would have never ordered the extra side of french toast had she given me the courtesy of explaining how the french toast came in a side order. Usually I pay $10 and some change for 1 order of french toast, eggs and sausage, but for the added side of french toast, my bill hiked to $29.18. These people are hungry for money and will overcharge you if you let them. Theres plenty other restaurants that are better than Stacked. I dont mind paying $29.18 for breakfast when it make sense, but my charges were over what I should have paid. The lady refused to correct it.

I was dissatisfied with the response of the person that asked me how my meal was. When I responded that I didnt like the pancakes, instead of her apologizing and asking me if she get me something else, she said," these are the best pancakes on the south side." She never asked me if she could get me something else, my wife asked me.I appreciate that my bill was discounted, but no one informed me of this. I wonder what prompted this "type" of response. I didnt feel that I was "seen" or recognized as an individual that was giving them my business. I hope this does not have any racial undertones!!!!!!

This was our third visit to Stacked restaurant, and we are disappointed. The first couple of visits service was excellent and food was very appealing. However, our visit on 01/28/2014, was very disappointing. The owner was extremely friendly to everyone except me and my wife. The french toast was over dipped in eggs and the result was enormous amount of crusted portions on the side of the French toast, not neat and appealing as the first two visits. Our server even though she was very friendly, forgot a few items. I think we will be returning to Ihop in the future.

Love Stacked! Until I placed my last order and the sandwich went up from $13.95 to $17.95 and no one bothered to tell me until I picked it up. When I told the owners wife that the price online was $13.95 she informed me that everyone is raising their prices, Panera, Chipolte, everyone and that was that. That is a quote. I guess I will go back to everyone else for my sandwiches....see it wasnt the price raise as much as the attitude that will keep me out of stacked forever now. And we were 3-4 times a week orders. Goodbye Stacked.

07/04/2017 Skirt steak was a south side skirt steak, not enough flavor. Can someone please learn to use a little salt. Hash browns, add a little onion. Now to what my wife had, Florentine Crepes no flavor at all, no wonder the server never came back to ask if we were happy or not. thank God we didnt take a chance on the coffee. It seems that some people will settle for anything. The guys cooking are not cooks and certainly not chefs. Maybe have them start watching Diners Drive-Inns and Dives or Bobby Flay.

Great food bad service. 1. Host doesnt say any word When I got there. (I said Hi) 2. Nobody came to take order for 7min. 3. Finally a waitress came and ask me ready to order? Then I said "Um.. I" She cut me and "Take your time" she disappeared. I was ready. 4. Every time she just throw things(juice,straws ext) on the table. No serving, just throwing. 5. Foods taste great and fresh. It was first time visiting here. I will try again because of the food. Hope have other waitress next time.

It was shitty to say the least. I would go to stacked everyweekend and at times i found myself just placing an order to go. The thing that blows my mind is the way the staff talks down to people and has very little customer service skills. I honestly hate going there due to this reason, i gave stacked a 3* due to its food and variety but if it wasnt for golden nuggets being so far away i would never go to stacked again, the prices are getting ridiculous due to popularity and greed.

OK dont tell my wife this but, Best Pancakes ever!!!. I had skirt steak skillet, Awesome. Meals run from $8 - $20 (Ribeye Steak Breakfast) They also serve lavazza Italian coffee. Staff was very friendly, my coffee and water cups were never empty. Expect to wait 30-45 minutes to sit down. Its worth the wait, their menu i on their website, lots of options for breakfast and lunch. If you are in the Oak Lawn area, I highly recommend you stop by.

First time there, food was excellent, my burger was cooked to perfection, chicken shell soup was delicious with nice size chunks of chicken. Husbands ham and cheese omelet was very good. Prices were good and staff very friendly. Coffee cup stayed full and husband was offered more pop as his glass started to get low. Restaurant was clean with comfortable seating. Expect a wait but they offer pagers so you know when your table is ready.
