I came to enjoy a family breakfast on Christmas Eve with my family. When we arrived no one greeted us, instead they took theyre sweet time to acknowledge us. They then rushed us to a small table by the door with only two chairs (we were a party of four). The manager rudely chairs. I began to read the specials and had some questions when I asked the manager about what came with the meat lovers skillet, he replied "you cant see thebrushed him off. I have came here two other times but I will no longer come here. They are so rude!! News flash your food is not that good!!

I love this breakfast joint. This place is one of my favorite restaurants to go to for breakfast. I went during one of their peak times, around 10 am. The place was busy but my guest and I were seated right away. Our waitress was very nice and checked up on us regularly. The food was also very delicious. I ordered their french toast and bacon with an additional side of hash browns while my guest ordered their buttermilk pancakes. Everything was absolutely delicious. Their coffee is freshly ground and very smooth as well. I will be back there soon!

Me and my Boyfriend are on a Family Reunion and we were right around the corner we stopped in yesterday to check it out I had Grilled Chicken Sandwich on Bun with Lettuce and Tomato a side of Fresh Fruit Small coleslaw and A pickle it was Great.I decided to go back today I had A Regular Salad and a Bowl of the Homemade Vegetable Soup it was Excellent. Somethings a Little Pricey but overall it was a Clean Place Service and Owners were Very Polite.The Service was excellent.We will go back when we come back to Visit.

Awesome place. Very well lit, clean, great food and service. They have a small parking lot behind the building, and theres street parking all around too. The way they have organized the tables and booths make the place feel very spacious even when it full. If you havent already been there, go now. Stop whatever it is you are doing and go. I dont care if you are driving an ambulance and you have a patient in the back, trust me he/she can wait, just do the responsible thing and order for carry out.

This place reminds me a little of the golden nugget in terms of food quality. Its not amazing but its not bad. The prices are standard for the most part. The server I had was really accommodating. I also like that they have their own little parking lot so I dont have to pay on the street. Its on a street corner so the place isnt huge but it isnt tiny. I went around 1pm on a Saturday and it wasnt that crowded. All in all, Id definitely come back to this place.

This place used to be great but since I last visited a few months ago, they increased prices and decreased portion sizes. Additionally, they serve cappuccino from a machine. It is full of sugar and tasting disgusting. What respectable restaurant serves coffee from a machine? How hard it is to make cappuccino? Certain servers are very rude. Suggestion: your tips depend on your attitude and you are not getting as much as you can right now.

First let me say that this is not an inexpensive diner style restaurant. It is a higher-end diner. The food is excellent, service great, and most importantly the coffee is delicious! Definitely not weak diner coffee. I must say that I had only breakfast here, which is hard for any restaurant to mess up. I cant comment on their lunches or dinners. One unusual feature is free parking behind the restaurant.

I finally went here for breakfast last Sunday since my parents were in town. They definitely give you a ton of food so be ready to have a hard time walking out. Luckily the Independence Park farmers market was going on a couple blocks down the street, so we got a little walking in afterwards. Oh- they have free parking which I realized after I paid on the street.

This is a great family owned neighborhood diner. Its an Independence Park classic. They have a great selection if skillets which are super tasty and also come with pancakes. Unlike so many chains this place just uses fresh ingredients. Try their patty melt too. Its also part of AAdvantage dining from American Airlines to you get points eating here.

They make a pretty good breakfast at Alps but my only knock on them is the time you have to wait to be seated they dont really have an organized way of doing it the food is pretty good I love their eggs bacon is done rides pancakes are really good thats about all I get but for the food its really good for the wait time youre going to get frustrated

Ive only been once, but I think Ive made the decision to relocate to this neighborhood due to the amazingness of this place. The coffee is awesome, portions far too big, and service consistent. The menu have diverse options but that isnt bad because they have a core ingredient list. That just means the chefs are creative. Im way into it.

Went there for breakfast. The food was good, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the place was clean with reasonable prices. I believe they have a great special Mon to Fri 6am to 9:30am for breakfast. Im not sure if they have parking available, we park on Irving/ self pay street parking. We will definitely go back again.

In the middle of ordering on grubhub, next thing you know "this restaurant is no longer accepting delivery orders". Not the first time this has happened either. They need to learn consistency and have a set process. Obviously cant handle the business and clearly doesnt deserve it either, food isnt even anything special.

What can I say, everything I walk in the door Im greeted like family there. Food never disappoints. Owners and managers run a very tight operation there. Awesome place, opens early, for both breakfast and lunch. This place always come to mind when I want a good breakfast or lunch on my day off!

I loved the food and the polite server but the hostess and management were very unwelcoming. They never appreciated our business and in fact didnt want us there. The type of people that judge the book by its cover. Its sad that the management team doesnt complement the business as a whole.

A pretty typical diner-type restaurant. Pancakes for breakfast were fine, but nothing out of the ordinary. Staff was friendly, but approaching the annoying side asking if I needed a coffee refill literally every 2 minutes. Id look for a better quality, more cozy breakfast option next time.

So, the food here is good. But in general, the place is just so nondescript I cant get behind it. It was packed when I went, so obviously people like it so I might just be being picky. The menu is HUGE, which might be part of my beef ... for a local place I wish they had more of a "thing."
