Went here for Thanksgiving dinner. The service was not the best. Server took a long time to bring us water and drinks. The dessert bar had one pastry and fruit to choose from. We sat with our family until the end of the serving time and then realized the staff was putting out a couple of trays of chocolate cake. As soon as we approached the bar to get a piece the server grabbed the tray to take it in the back. She was chewing food. I said where have these desserts been the whole night? There have not been any desserts out! She said they were baking. I laughed at that since they most likely get their pastries from a bakery. Then all of the employees came up at the end of the night and started packing up the same desserts she had just brought out from the dessert bar. Not at all impressed for $39 a person. Not to mention they automatically add 18% gratuity.

White Eagle was a phenomenal venue for our wedding! The food was world-class: we had compliments on everything from the soup and appetizers to the entrees and dessert. The open bar was well-stocked and a huge hit. The staff were very helpful and the facilities were spacious and clean. We had ~250 people at the wedding and everyone had a great time. I highly recommend them for your wedding!

As a visitor to Chicago, I had never heard of White Eagle. It was an elegant place that served me and my family delicious Polish food. I had never had the "Polish" experience and the food given to me was hot and delicious. The bars drinks were delicious and the staff was amazingly attendant. We were celebrating the life of a late uncle and White Eagle was a great part of that day.

After a funeral went there for lunch. My brother had his wedding reception there back in 1981 and the food was terrible then, and still is. A nice gesture for the family and Im sure not cheap so not really complaining, but there are better places with better food. Even a pot luck or sub sandwiches would have been better. Not recommended.

Good quality has gone downhill with New owners. Portions smaller. Terrible sauerkraut. Higher prices. Slow waitress. Food not wanting to go back. Years ago was great. No longer. Called & complained but could care less. No stuffing with chicken. Not worth going for dinner even if youre close.

Had my baby baptism over there and couldnt be worse. the food was decent but the servers ?? Awful ..i felt like they were trying to make us leave within an hour...service was horrible ..had no idea what they were doing...DO NOT USE THEM...there are plenty of other places to use.

Easter brunch was not very good. Always ran out of food. Almost all food was cold or barely luke warm. Went to get dessert and coffee. Coffee was empty desserts none were remaining other than fruit. Choose another brunch place.

We had my Moms 80th Surprise Birthday there in November and the food was delicious and the servers were very nice. We took our time and we were in a shared banquet room and we were there for about 4 hours or so.

Lunch, family style, $8.95 per person, and you get to box up your leftovers! Great coffee and desserts. Its a Polish restaurant, Im not Polish, never had problems with the service.

I would avoid this place. Poor service, lousy food, and they dont speak English so they dont have a passion for the food. if you want real Polish food go to Detroit and visit Pol Town.
