I have to say, I wish I had written this review a long time ago. My family and I have enjoyed Hunan for the last 20 some years. No matter the dish, everything is prepared with care, integrity and consistency. Egg Rolls are top notch, Fried Rice is perfect, Pot Stickers are the best EVER! and all the duck dishes are exquisite. It is very important to me that this restaurant be noted as a wonderful place to take your family or to get take out. The only bad thing I could possibly say is that when I order the Kung Pao Chicken extra spicy, its not hot enough for me, however I understand that they are trying to cater to the average American palate, which in my opinion needs more enlightenment. If I could give it 6 stars I would. Thank you Hunan Family!...from a professional chef lifer who loves when excellent food is made for them without all the work!

The lady doesnt know now to greet people, as soon I put a foot inside the place she asked in a somehow rude tone "How may I help you?" I was "Well.. I need a table" then "Is it for here or to go" ¬¬. After a couple left I was the only person in the place and she was all the time pushing me to finish and leave. Then she gave me the bill and say thank you, so I just felt she was saying "Ok, you ate already, now pay me and get out of here". I wish the personnel were nicer and friendly, the food isnt that bad.

Very dark lighting, sticky menus, tables and chairs, not clean at all. Very poor decor and an insult to real authentic Asian cuisine. Dont waste your money here. They have had absolutely no renovations and are extremely cheap to the point that their bathroom toilet is inappropriately raised and their furniture is extremely outdated and overall, unsanitary and have poor food quality.

Best eggrolls Ive ever had, and their home-made sweet-n-sour sauce great. Buffet is smaller than full menu, but have great options (I wish they had Mongolian Beef on buffet, I would never leave) that you would expect them to have at a very reasonable price. Very nice family, glad to see that theyve been around so long, please do not ever change/leave.

Noodles tasted horrible. I have had much better from other restaurants in the area. After calling and explaining about the horrible tasting noodles. I was told theres nothing they will do. Be careful when you order here. We just wasted $50 UPDATE: I was sick most of the night last night. Im feeling better today. I would suggest avoiding this place.

We work at the college nearby, and order from here about once a week. EVERYONE is completely satisfied with their meals. They are extremely friendly on the phone, and the delivery man actually opens up the bags for us. The food has never been less than AWESOME. WONDERFUL WONDERFUL !!!!

Its a nice little neighborhood Chinese joint. They are consistent and maintain decent quality. I recommend their lunch specials, economical and fulfilling. Do not care about the egg roll its taste like a salty fried shredded card board. Crab Rangoon are okay.
