There was the four of us. Our friends recommended the place. We did not have a great experience. We had a new waitress so the service was awful. We ordered drinks and food and nothing came out what we ordered. We had to go to the bar to ask for water. The waitress never came to our table to see if we needed anything. When we told management about the experience, they offered us a drink on the house. We declined because we did not want anymore drinks. Once the meal did come out and it took a very long time, nothing was right so we had to wait longer. Finally we got our dinners and one of the meals (a chicken pasta dish) was not very good. If I was the manager i would have compted the whole bill for good customer service. We did tip the waitress 20% because we did not blame her. She should have been working with a manager or an experienced waitress. I do not think we will be back to Tavern 60.

Curious to try and decided to go. We had the burgers and they were excellent. Better than I expected. I ordered mine medium rare and it came out as such... not medium or medium well. My dining companion had her ordered hers medium and it was deliciously so with great char flavor. Some advice: dont get the fries. They were soggy shoestring fries. The homemade chips are a much better choice. Recently I tried the turkey club sandwich and it was excellent, probably one of the best I have had. I would choose that over the burgers, honestly, if you are undecided.

Ive been here twice since the new owners took over. This is one of the nicest bars in the town of Mundelein. This place is huge as well. Tons of big screen TVs, darts, video games etc. The drink specials seem good. I have not tried the food yet. They do a fish fry on Fridays & kids eat free Sunday & Monday. I hear good things about a Brisket Sandwich. Ill probably try that next week & then tweak this review.

This place has changed names so many times that its hard to keep up. Not sure if its trying to be a bar, restaurant, or both. Food here is decent, nothing too fancy. The bar is very large with plenty of seating. Plenty of TVs to catch games. Small gambling area (slots) near the entrance. But for a bar/restaurant, it is the quietest one Ive ever been to. And this was during Game 7 of the 2016 NBA finals.

1st time here..and LOVED it.. The Tavern Pizza was a Big Hit with my husband -my son is a vegetarian and Loved the Baked Rigatoni. .i had the Chicken parm. The portions were well worth the price and then some.. we come to Mundelein once a year and we will Definitely be back - great staff and atmosphere.

Slow.... Very very very slow. Hummus was ok, but the hummus was almost nonexistent. Cucumbers were rotted. It was a mistake to come here
