ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND: Went to Firefly on Saturday night with party of 6. Had looked at their menu online and was a bit apprehensive as they only had 9 entrees but decided to give it a whirl. The waiter was enthusiastic although service seemed a bit slow. At the point of initially ordering the waiter informed us that they were out of the ribs and salmon for the night. OK, so now we had a choice of 7 entrees. We ordered and had an appetizer, which was good. A bit after we would have expected the meals to arrive, the waiter sheepishly approached and told us they were out of the tenderloin, which 3 or the 6 at our party ordered. He offered a round of drinks, but as we had all just split a bottle of wine, we asked for a second bottle of the same wine instead and he agreed. While no one complained at the table, the waiters demeanor was decidedly different, and he just seemed to want to get through the rest of the meal. We tried to make the best out of it, and find something out of the 6 entree choices to order. The food when it arrived was good, but not excellent, and not what half of our party went out for. When the bill came, the second bottle of wine was still on the bill, and the waiter offered 6 drink chips for a "future visit." At that point we should have asked for the manager to complain, but as this was a going away send off for my wife and me, we didnt want to taint the evening anymore than it had been. ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND the place other than maybe for a drink in their bar. It has potential, but the management needs to figure out what is wrong with their logistical planning and execution during the meals to avoid running out of 1/3 of your entrees and having sluggish while friendly service.

Went there on 3-1-13 for the ALL U CAN EAT Fish Fry for $13.95. But was told they NO LONGER offered it as of 3 weeks ago. I was very disappointed in hearing that because that was one of the main reason we decided to go there. $13.95 was expensive for all you can eat let alone 3 pieces of fish, some fries, and a couple of strips of cabbage, onion, and mayo?=coleslaw?? (I got the bill and the FISH FRY turned out to be even more---$15.00 a piece!) Anyway we stayed because we were hungry and it was already 6:45p.(Do you think they bank on that? Makes you wonder...) I must say the FISH was VERY GOOD but left me longing for those other pieces I expected. lol We had 4 drinks (2 per person), calamari appetizer (fried too hard), the 2 fish fry orders, and dessert (because I was still hungry from only 3 pieces of fish-lol) Our bill was $89 and some change. Wow...but okay. The part that angered me was, Monday morning I check my credit card statement on-line and notice not only did they charge me $89 plus my tip--about $110 total but I had a PENDING CHARGE of $34.00 and some change! WTF I wanted to call right away but they dont open until 4:30p. Arggh!! Other than all of that our server, Shanna (sp) was pretty good and the food was good but left you longing for more. We will NOT be returning for the FISH FRY but maybe some drinks and an appetizer (NOT the hard calamari). It wouldve been really helpful to have known that they NO LONGER offered the ALL U CAN EAT FISH FRY and the PRICE had changed from the web and menu. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. Now that I think about it the menu still said unlimited Friday fish fry...hmmm...it was kinda crowded that night--maybe they ran out of fish and didnt want to tell us. LOL!!

What I noticed first about Firefly was the very chill and relaxing ambiance. The front dining room is formal, the sort of place you would take your family for a nice dinner out. The back bar and lounge was great. Big TV, huge bar, enough seating for a large crowd. The lighting created a setting that promoted conversation and there were a few tables with curtains for more intimate settings. The management and bar managers were very friendly and accommodating. The barkeep was very knowledgeable about the wide beer selection. He recommended a few micro beers, both of which were spot on as to what kind of beer I tried to describe that I enjoy. The service was top notch. The manager and the owner actually stopped by to talk to us to make sure that we were doing well. Our waiter definitely did a great job of taking care of us. The food was great. We didnt order anything more than Garlic fries and the Micro Burgers, but they were delicious! Next time I might go for the Bacon Wrapped Sirloin Filet or the Grilled Chicken and Asiago Panini. The "Warm Chocolate Bombe" was ridiculously fantastic! It came with homemade caramel, toffee brittle, and vanilla ice cream. Soo delicious! I highly recommend Firefly for your next outing!

Went to firefly on a Wednesday night around 6:30 pm , should have known to walk out when only one other table was occupied. The main dining area in the front of the restaurant has seen better days, the chairs were filthy and the carpeting was full of stains. We waited about 10 minutes for our waitress to take our drink order and about 15 minutes to receive them. We had a 2 year old in our party along with 3 adults. We ordered milk for the 2 year old and our waitress couldnt get the drink order right. We ordered our food and it took almost 40 minutes to receive it. In the meantime the cup of milk was spilled all over the table and carpeting. We could not find anyone to help clean it up do we did our best with napkins from other tables and when our waitress finally came back she just looks at the spilled milk and asks if we want more milk. I ask her if maybe she wants to get something to clean up the milk all over the carpeting and she just walks away , talked to the manager but really got nowhere with him either. Horrible experience almost like being in the twilight zone. will never go back and would not recommend this place to anyone. Very unfortunate experience.

Less than pleased with the wait time for food at this restaurant. Although we were seated in a timely manner on a Saturday night at peak dining hours we waited an "unusually long time" for something as simple as sliders! We, a simple two top, waited for an appetizer longer than larger tables who ordered after us enjoyed their meals. The waitress continuously assured us"theyll be right up" when in fact they werent. The atmosphere and decor exceeded expectations. Our waitress was less than attentive but very nice. Too bad that counts for nothing when youre starving and the clock is ticking because youre also paying a babysitter! Needless to say we left hungry, but not thirsty. Most of the drinks that we ordered were compd by a manager who was some what understandable. We left disappointing and hungry. We dined else where this evening and our return visit for redemption will be a while. Diners be where, dont go hungry and skip the appetizer because it might be awhile.
