This place used to be a Burger King, and the decor shows it. Slapping some decals on the wall and installing TVs playing Telemundo wont make the customer ignore the fact that the seating still feels like solid plastic--which it is, since thats what the Burger King had. However, the food and service more than makes up for it. These guys are the real deal; they offer delicious, rich food and it all comes in huge portions. It may feel a little steep for a small restaurant when you order, more like prices at a big, franchised joint, but man oh man is it worth it. Many places will give you lots of rice to fill the space in the massive burrito they give you--the good folks at Asteca give you a burrito or taco literally overflowing with meat, then with extra rice on the side. Beautiful. And chips. Lots of tortilla chips with a great selection of salsa. Juicy, wonderful goodness piled onto a plate, thats what this stuff is. Its not just quantity--the quality is glorious! Great, friendly sevice, too; you can tell that the people really care about the craftsmanship they put into the food. Yuuumm-y.I totally recommend this place. Fantastic food, great people, and locally owned!

Wrost customer service EVER!!! They messed up my order, which by the way was over $50. The order they messed up up was three tacos that I clearly said ONLY beans and when I got it it had meat on them. They would not give me my money back which was fine because I didnt necessarily want my money back, but they also refused to give me three of the correct tacos. This was a carry out order and when I called back the second time to speak to the manager. They also refused to let me talk to him. Never again will I nor anyone in my family eat there. AWEFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!

Well if this is a indication of the food at Monicas down the street Ill stay away from that place also. Ordered Soft flour chicken tacos to go, got them home and the flour soft shell were over cooked and hard as a rock . The chicken, what there was of it was good I had cilantro and tomatoes with cheese the cilantro was stale and you could barley find bits of tomatoes very disappointed . Wont be back here should of left it a Burger King

Used to be a Burger King & possibly the only one Ive ever seen close. Good riddance. This Mexican place is much better than fast food garbage. Same owners as Monicas down the street. Great Salsa, Burritos etc. Love the super hot philly steak tacos!

My go-to for local somewhat authentic Mexican. Simple fare, made well. Never had a bad meal here. This used to be a Burger King, and some of it shows. Try the lengua, its good!
