I have been a HUGE Burrito loco fan for 11 years. We first discovered them when we moved to Bolingbrook back around 1997-98. Back then you could get a steak taco dinner for about $5.50 now they are around $10. I understand prices go up and I have no problem with it as long as the quality stays the same. We started going to this Crest Hill location about 10 years ago, ever since we moved from Bolingbrook to Romeoville and up until about 4 years ago they were great. In the last few years however we started noticing quality issues. The food just isnt as good as it used to be. The quality of the meat has gone downhill (more gristle tougher cuts). Other shortcuts that have turned me off are stale chips which seems to happen every other visit. The hot sauce (red sauce) seems ridiculously watered down. It used to be really good, I ate there last month and the sauce was so watery it didnt taste like sauce at all. Im very disappointed Burrito Loco was my favorite restaurant and now I am left searching for something new. Now something that I have noticed on repeat visits that may matter or not is that when the owner is there (he drives an Escalde) The food always seems crappier and more diluted then when hes not there. Whats funny about that is I told that to my neighbor and a few months later we were talking and he said I was absolutely right. We are trying Mr Taco tonight its actually closer to us but it is a bit more expensive.

This location is the worst I have ever purchased from, food quality is cheap price is too expensive they dont pay Attention to us the customers I have gone to purchase and it takes them like 2 min to even at least say welcome can you please wait I just bought 6 tacos and when I order at other locations they ask either cilantro and onion or tomato, cheese and lettuce they didnt bother to ask but yet I have ate two thus far one was different other than the other one to me they completely suck service sucks food is decent just not for the price. ...If YOU HAVE THE CHANCE TO DRIVE UP TO JEFFERSON ST LOCATION DO OUT COMPLETELY WORTH IT

I dont know anything about drug dealers around the area or non English speakers but yesterday around 9 pm I was heading home after a good chest day at the gym, I decided to stop at this place, I went to the drive thru and the staff was clear and kind. I wasnt that hungry and I noticed the steak burrito was only 8 bucks so I ordered it. When I got home and opened it up I saw the biggest, juiciest and fattest burrito I have ever seen. It was packed with meat and tons of veggies, the guacamole was so good!! I couldnt even finish it. I will go back to this place asap.

Ordered online. Picked it up and order wasnt right. Told them what my order was supposed to be. Checked my order and noticed my order was incorrect. Told me that what I ordered would be extra. So they were going to let me get home with an incorrecr order? So I paid the extra and asked thrm to fix it. Gave it to them to fix and they still didnt give me what I paid for.

Last I went and got 2 steak tacos and a cup of corn it was the worse the meat was tough the cheese looked bad on my corn and tacos After eating from the restaurant on Cass where everything was fresh I figured I would give this place a try and I pretty much threw 8 dollars in the garbage because it was terrible first experience was my last

I ordered a burrito here last night and I bit into it and ended up chomping down on a little pebble! I was also feed this to my toddler. I called and they didnt really believe me, just told me to bring in the evidence. They rock/pebble was dark grey, almost like a piece of the road. Beware when biting into your food here!

My wife and I are very picky when it comes to Hispanic food, we took the chance and we are extremely glad we did. The rice and beans where on point! The langua and menudo was perfectly seasoned. I recommend this place to all. Compliments to the chef.

Ordered $28 worth of tacos and they forget to put tomatoes on them. The steak was barely cooked pretty sure the tongue was raw and the corn shells were never even thrown on the stove they were very soft and fell apart while eating them.

By far the WORST Mexican restaurant ever! Terrible customer service, food is garbage, and it is ridiculously expensive. Being 100% Mexican, this offends me. :( without a doubt I will never step into that place again

Of all of the fast food Mexican places that Ive tried, this is by far the best. I highly recommend the Steak Fajita Quesadillas, Steak Tacos, and Pork Tamales. Oh and my kids could live on the Flautas!!

The food quality has been going for a minute now. I used to love this place, but the salsa is watered down, the meat is mostly fatty and without taste. The prices are getting high. Time to go elsewhere.

Food is great. I love how they use white chicken and not brown chicken. Being Muslim, I always go for their veggie items such as: tostadas, potato tacos, and chicken. Steak is also good.

Got the giant steak burrito, meat was greasy and left a film on the roof of my mouth, plus I had another horrible side effect which I never got while eating there many times before.

Stopped here around 11pm got the pastor burrito. It was hot, fresh and very good. The meat was very good and had lots of flavor, not one bad piece. Would eat here again.
