This place....this place is pretty cool. I really have no idea how I wound up here from Downers Grove, but I did and Im glad! We came in on a Saturday evening and it was actually busy, but not too busy. How a place like this isnt packed to the walls every night is beyond me! Its just a small little brewery building with a few booths and a small bar. Everything they serve theyve made. We each got a different beer, I had the Honey Badger. It was...SO GOOD. Definitely good enough to drive back for. We just hung around for awhile, enjoying our beers until it was time to go back to our now seemingly sad and pointless lives in the western burbs. Lives that will remain meaningless until its time for our next visit to Lake Bluff Brewing Company.

Beer is very good - just be aware that this is a very small place; a bar that will serve some food - a few paninis, a bowl of soup - it is not a "restaurant"; but if you are looking for a craft beer in a small setting (it might seat 30 people) then this is it. Service away from the bar was really, surprisingly poor. Surprising in that there were three employees and 16 patrons. I had to get up and get the server for a menu, then for a drink, then for my food order then for my bill? They did ask me for a refill on my first beer - so kudos to them! Give it a try.

I cannot comment on the food because I strictly had some beers. The honey badger was overly simple and not good, I have Half Acre brewery 4 blocks away and their weakest beer, in my opinion is the Gossamer. Gossamer is the same style as LBs HB and blows LBB away. The pale ale was simple and decent. It must be a tax write-off for a bored wealthy person. LBB is not worth the trip

Quiet spot with great in house draft beers. The food comes straight from Maevery Public House, their next door neighbors, which has great starters to share with your first beer and a dope burger with your fourth one, all served in to-go boxes. Try it all and get to know this beer oasis in North Chicago.

Great Beer, that is what a brewery is all about. Please is small, but what do you expect, it is more of a tap room with a couple menu items. I have tried all the breweries around the area, and this is one of the best, especially if you like hops!!

We stopped through on our way home to Michigan. The staff was beyond friendly and they recommended where we could go for unique craft beers. Would definitely go back. The seasonal beer was delicious.

Loved the Belgian Monkey brew. I had the turkey paninni, very good. I like the small, quaint atmosphere. I would highly recommend giving it a try.
