Please dont be fooled by the name! This place is no more an Ale House than McDonalds is Fine Dining. They have a total of 5-6 tapper handles. Bud Light, Miller Light, Guinness, and two or three craft beer offerings. The three coolers behind the bar filled with Miller Lite bottles should give an idea of the number of Ale House aficionados that go here. Being from Illinois, the choking cloud of cigarette smoke made it impossible to enjoy the limited ambiance that was present. This may very well be an outstanding neighborhood watering hole, but given its location right on Route 30, I was expecting a little more class and a LOT more attention to craft beer offerings that their name implies. Pros: An eclectic music selection. The speakers went from Jim Croce to Pantera without missing a beat.

Great little bar to drop into, have a drink, and watch a game. Lots of different beers to try and the owners/workers are very friendly.
