We drove 20 minutes here as we had heard good things about this place. We noticed they closed at 3 so we got here at 2:20 to have enough time to eat and not keep the staff here any longer. As soon as we walked in we saw all the chairs up on the table and the staff told us we couldnt sit to eat and could only carry out. This is strange as the closing time says 3pm but we agreed to order. We got our food at 2:38 and since there were still 3 tables eating at the restaurant we asked if we could use one to eat and not have to eat in the car. The staff asked the person in charge and he told us again no. We left in disbelief that we were not allowed to use a table to eat while there were still 3 tables eating there. Terrible customer service. Terrible experience

Family owned and operated. Always friendly service. Authentic Durango regional foods. Not cozy but always delicious served with a smile. This is one of our favorite places for Sunday breakfast as well as dinners on the go. Some things weve tried there so far are steak and eggs, all of their tacos, the steak and chicken Fajitas, chorizo and eggs, eggs rancheros, my favorite chilies rellenos. There is also this amazing burrito covered in their creamy green salsa that it absolutely addicting. Everything is served with rice, beans and your choice of corn or flour tortillas. They dont have a web site nor do they deliver, but please dont let that stop you from checking it out. You wont be sorry.

Yum! Just tried this little gem today. I work right down the street and never knew this place was here! Someone recommended it to me that I work with so went there for lunch today. The service is great. They are very prompt. Great food, great service, and good food. I use to go to Tacos El Norte but this place in my opinion is better! Tacos el Durango has better tasting and quality food. It is hot and you feel satisfied when your done. I only have a certain amount of time to take my break so this is very convenient. They get you in and out quickly. Will definitely be returning.

The positive ratings are not lying or exaggerating. Im a very picky eater and anywhere I go I get nervous because I might not like the food. But taco el Durango serve delicious food. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left the experience was wonderful. The food was delicious as well. Definitely recommend.

Small, Family owned and operated establishment. If you want fresh, authentic and delicious Mexican food. This is most certainly the place to go. I spend at least $100 a month on tacos. Which I might add are hands down the best Ive had the pleasure of enjoying. Dine in! Take it to go! Just eat at Durangos!!!

This is standard Mexican food done very well. Everything Ive had from the tacos al pastor to the pork tamales has been satisfying. Its the kind of family owned place that is no frills but brings tremendous satisfaction for the dollar.

I was always impressed by how delicious the food is. Ive tried almost every Mexican restaurant in Lake County both big and small and none come close to the level of flavor. The steak is the best Ive had. I now come here once a week.
