Worst experience ever!! Went there Saturday night around 2 a.m pre ordered my food was just picking up. When I was approached by a group of security guards that wanted to search me, as a active duty Marine and a 3rd year law student at Marquette university I didnt agree with the search as it is constitutional unethical and made no sense to search people buying food when there is no search at 1 pm the same gun man could enter the restaurant any time if thats what he/she choose. I was pepper sprayed and threatened. I called 911 due to my skin burning and I was treated like a criminal. The security company is very under trained for situations like this I will be filling charges against them as well.

This place just say they are 24 hrs. If you go there at 4am they wont serve you. I reported this location to the better business Bureau (BBB) still no response from the owner. Really bad customer service. We parked infront of the location, they had the doors locked, did not open even after we knocked. There were people inside eating, and the workers were standing around. They look so lazy. Dont go here if you appreciate your time. I want to rather this place a 0 if I could. McDonalds across the street are much better, yeah I know thats hard to believe.

Now me and my husband have been coming here for awhile whether its after night life or we just wanna grab a bite; but after our last two experiences thatll be the last. The waitresses always seem upset and inconvienced and no smile or any pleasantness Im never the one to throw race in any equation but in this case I will because I sat and watched how the waitresses greeted the different customers and it was disgusting... The fact that people can hide behind there lack of english to justify rude behavior

It is my second time there, but after today I will never return because it has the worsted service ever!!!!! We went in restaurant to order to go will we sat down and order a beverage while we wait. You would not believe that the head waitress told us that we had to order by the service window at the entrance where its freezing cold in this weather. If she thought we werent going to leave her a tip well she was wrong and super busy with her whooping 2 tales in the whole restaurant.

Dined here recently on a Friday for lunch. Traditional Wisconsin Fish Fry was excellent. I had the lake perch and my partner had the cod; both were excellent. Sides were fries, onion strings and coleslaw and all were delicious. We have had lunch here a couple of times in years past, sandwiches and soups were first rate. My partner has been eating at the Swinging Door since the 1970s, always excellent food and service. A classic Milwaukee tavern with sublime comfort food.

Worst web presence ever. Was thinking about ordering, would like to know hours, prices, menu & locations. Turns out my 12 year old paper menu is more accurate than what I can find online. Your website sucks, hope youre not paying someone for that. Im pretty sure you still have a location on 16th St (Ive driven by it many times but cant find a website thats not in Colorado). Guess Im eating pizza tonight, maybe see you when you enter the 20th century..

If someone gives this place one star its because they are not smart enough to know what it stands for. Great and I mean great Mexican food. Service that is almost always on time except when the one waitress gets overwhelmed. Id you go there after bar hours be ready for crowds, security guards, being frisked and chaos. If you like the corporate Mexican then go somewhere else and stay out of the way of the people who enjoy places like this.

The place wasnt the best as far as service. However, the food was good but cold when received it. My fiance and I were sitted before a few people and we noticed our food came after theirs and we couldnt understand why. I have ordered out from this same place and the food was thoroughly prepared and hot when I received it. I suggest order carry out ONLY! Overall, the service and food werent to my liking.

Ive eaten Mexican food all over the US and Mexico. This place is the standard that all other restaurants should live up to. If you like this place it is also worth driving out to LA Estasion in Waukesha which has the same menu and an awesome brunch on Sunday. The 2 owners of these restaurants are cousins.

The stars are only for the service. Greeted upon entering and immediately attending me. Great people; however, in order for this place to be a 4 or 5 star restaurant, salsas need major improvement. Food is ok. I come here often and not much has changed. They have major potential.

Soooo good. Only place Ive gone for 15+ years. Great family owned restaurant, nice staff who remembers my husband and I when we come in, excellent food and good portions. Their prices are reasonable and I dream about the nachos and chimi dinners!

Just tried to send my boyfriend into the restaurant at 3:00am because Im sick. They locked the door and wouldnt let him in. Ive gone around this time before the only difference is hes African american and it was just him. very frustrating.

Gotta give it up for my boys in Jalisco I always recommend the lomo de res with the chile de árbol, bomb. Jaliscos is a staple of what the Southside of Milwaukee stands for. Keep up the good work boys!!!
