There is just no substitute for fresh made hummus, and Zachis was truly delicious. The only thing lacking from this restaurant was atmosphere, we were the only people eating at the 7 table restaurant but there were quite a few people in for take out. As other reviewers have said the owner is super nice and the sample of lentil soup is delicious. I had the curry chicken plate, $10, with my included side being hummus, which was delicious. A juicy chicken breast with a large serving of rice topped with lettuce and tomato and served with a fluffy mini pita. The whole plate was on top of a large paper thin pita, I was a bit disappointed that it was ripped and a bit soggy so there was no way to wrap it up to eat. Warning, be careful of the garlic sauce that is served on the side, you definitely wont be seeing Edward Cullen around you if you decide to try it!

Zachi knows how to start you off right by giving a taste of their thick, perfectly spiced lentil soup while you order at the counter. The pita isnt too dense, the falafel is moist, and the Jerusalem salad tastes fresh. The eating area is small and get ready for Middle Eastern music that is sometimes a tad too loud. I wouldnt say that the counter workers are overly friendly, but the food is too good to worry about that.

The food is amazing, such great flavor. The staff is always friendly and the soup they greet you with is amazing. I eat from there every week, I think the whole office does since we work not to far. But lately with the chicken shawarma there has been more pickles than meat. I think the whole office noticed that. Keep up the good food just be mindful of the meat in the Pita.

Ive only tried the chicken kabob lunch special and just from that i know i will be returning very soon i love the amazing flavor the lentil soup is delicious and i love that they serve it to you while you wait for your order What drew me to this location was the delicious mesmerizing smell i got a wiff of across the street just from customers going in and out

I placed a chicken shawarma sandwich and lentil soup to pick up on Saturday night and nothing was fresh. Everything was cold and old. I had to call the restaurant to let them know but they didnt care. I understand now why the place was empty when I picked up the order.

Amazing shawarma. The lentil soup is delicious. Everyone working is really nice. If you like Mediterranean food, I highly recommend it! The hummus is on point. Im picky about hummus and tend to judge it pretty harshly. But Zachis is flavorful and well done.
