The reviews of "great food" and "ordering for 20 years" surprise me, though I guess anything is gourmet if you have no taste. I ordered a very simple order through GrubHub. The low prices were very tempting and the $1 coupon sealed the deal. Sadly, with Villa Palermo, you get what you pay for. Fried ravioli, Spaghetti with a side of meatballs, and an order of French fries. The order was placed around 12:40AM. It wasnt until 20 minutes after I contacted GrubHub did my food arrive...at 2:30AM! Not only did the delivery guy not read the instructions on my order (I told him which apartment to buzz as I am new to the building and not in the directory yet), but when he arrived, he delivered the food and asked, "did you pay yet?". Seriously? The food arrived in a mess, marinara sauce all over the containers. The serving sizes were decent. The fries were already cold, beside the fact that they tasted like cardboard, and the spaghetti was AWFUL. The meatballs had a weird aftertaste and texture, and the red sauce was pathetic. Ive had better canned spaghetti! The ravioli was underwhelming and definitely bland. The only good that came out of this was the awesome customer service from GrubHub. Not only did they give me a full refund of the meal, they issued a credit for the same amount ($17) and also gave me a $5 coupon.

where to start ? Ok so my family has bought food from here for over 10 years possible more and we loved it the pizza was cooked perfect the fries amazing the barbaqu chicken amazing chiken fingers great but one day everything went downhill our orders were missing items and not just once every week we had a problem and they always said they would take care of us but we werent looking for anything then the pizza wasnt being cooked good anymore and would even have to put it in the oven at time dont know if they just put to much cheese but this went on for more than a year so we had to find a new place to order from and im sad because they have the best chicken fingers ever and i used to love their pizza . i would love to return but am not to sure 10 years of being a faithful customer down the drain...

great thin slices! vegetarian lasagna is to die for! very friendly staff! I have eaten there spaghetti several times, it is made fresh homemade daily, pasta is always, al dente! I know the owners for years, just by being a patron! they will get to know you by name and treat you like family! if they had six stars they would get it, hats off to Sam and Joe, all of the other staff as well !!! best neighborhood joint around. if you read of one unsatisfied customer? take in consideration I am A Single Man and I eat there almost every night for 23 years! Im not fat and quite athletic! so theyre menu & chefs are doing something right! everyday for 23 years,

Last week I had to deal with a delivery mix up, I was beyond livid until I spoke with the owner himself who was more than apologetic and willing to look into what happened. I understand stand that mistakes happen and even though I was annoyed by the mix up Im truly impressed that the owner of a successful restaurant was willing to take the time and energy to personally deal with a customer complaint. Its nice to know that there are some business owners still believe in giving great customer service.

I ordered a cheeseburger cooked medium for pick up. When I got home I noticed it was well done. I called and decided I wanted my order replaced. I went back after picking it up long story short the burger was well done...again. the manager was really nice and the pizza is great. This is the second time I order something else besides pizza and its the second time im dissapointed.

I completely forgot about this place i used ot get pizza from here in the 90s and for over 13 years i randomly ordered from this place and remembered the taste of the pizza again. Only thing i dont understand is why does the delivery driver ask for a tip when he obviously cant carry the pizza right and they have been delivered with one side smashed?

Best Canolli, sausage green pepper onion pizza, and who doesnt like their cheese fries. My family and I have been ordering pizza since we moved into the neighborhood back in 1998. I make sure to get some every time I come home (As now I live in NYC - their pizza doesnt compare!!). Im sad they do not open before 4 but I want their food.

Ive been going here my whole life. Im currently 24. The deep dish pizza is amazing.. My absolute favorite in the world are the rib tips. Started eating from Villa as part of a weekly family tradition and now I continue it on my own. The people whove been there a while knew us as regulars. I hope they neverrrrrr close!

Visited twice. One star per visit. No improvement on service or quality. Not enough anchovies on the pizza, and too salty pizza, not counting the few anchovies. First time got a Save 20 Coupon and Second time same order got NO Save 20 Coupon. Have not gone back in a month and will never go back ever again.

Lived in Chicago many years ago and this was my go to pizza place. Glad to see you guys still got it going on. Every time someone brings up Chicago pizza I mention you guys. Keep it up...I hope to be back in the near future to enjoy some Villa Palermo goodness!

The service was great! Maritza was amazing taking our order! The pizza was honestly the best Ive had in the 6 years Ive lived in 6 Chicago! The dough to sauce to cheese ratio was perfect! Im so glad this is in my new neighborhood!

Stuffed pizza spinach with basically 5 spinach leaves. All it was was dough and cheese a complete wast of 20 dollars. Totally sucked. I ate one slice and threw it in the trash. Not worth the $ and is disgusting.

Easily some of the best pizza Ive ever had. They make a mean thin crust! It wont be hurting your pockets either, its pizza is $3 a slice with a free pop.
