Disclaimer..... Im a glutton for French fries, Now with that being said my burger was actually completed prior to me finishing them all. This for me in all my years of consuming French fries qualifies as a rare moment. There were by no means any small amount of fries as I had a regular order and delightfully enough there were the best accessories to an order of fries..... Bag fries o plenty. The burger was prepared perfectly to my specifications and was everything I want in a burger. Fresh toppings a satisfying bite full of flavour. The price here is comparable to the service, speed, and quality of the food you receive so to me not a problem though I will say you pay for what you get and you get what you pay for. If I had any complaint it would be the milkshake I had was too small.... I wanted more! :-( Maybe thats just me being greedy, so rightfully I believe with all that I experienced this time around this establishment deserves a definite 5 stars.

The hamburgers are very good, but they should be due to their cost. The restaurant is absolutely sterile, with no atmosphere, other than people standing around a largely white room waiting for their orders, bags of peanuts stacked on the floor and not much else going for it. As stated, their hamburgers are really good, but a double cheeseburger cost around $7.50 with tax. They give you a lot of fries but they too are way overpriced. When you come from the supermarket after paying $1.89 for ten pounds of potatos, you dont feel much like paying around three dollars for less than a pound of french fries. Plus, no one should be eating that many french fries at one meal anyway. Never-the-less, I am glad to have a successful restaurant in Hyde Park that serves good food.

Ordered from UberEATS and my whole order when it was delivered was completely wrong , my shake was super liquidity and not to mention the other half of my order wasnt even considered. Called to info and found out one of the associates put a completely different order and didnt even put the other stuff I ordered.... This place has poor customer service and i feel like the associates lack the ability to pay attention to simple 1..2..3 steps. I am very much so disappointed in this service because every other 5 guys Ive been to has been great with perfect customer service. I wouldnt recommend this 5 guys location to anyone.

Solid burger chain that I always know what to expect from. Patties are juicy, and you get unlimited toppings! They do a good job serving a very generous portion of fries, filling up the bag with an extra scoop even if you just order a regular size (so one order is enough for two people). The soda machine is also fun with their single dispenser (you can get creative with your syrups). My only complaint is that it is kind of pricey for fast food. Also the fries are fried in peanut oil, so one of my friends had to skip out because of his peanut allergy.

I dont care for their fries. Ive never tried anything but regular fries, lil bacon cheeseburger (good), drink and a shake. The glaceau water tastes like seltzer water. I git the berry flavor from the coke machine. Yuck! Over all, its ok. Its the most expensive one. The one on wabash and roosevelt is cheaper. All of them are more cheaper than this one. Maybe because its in Hyde Park.

Such a guilty pleasure. You cannot have Five Guys more than like once every few months, at least I cant. If I did, Id be riddled with guilt from all of the calories I was consuming. If it came down to it I could sit there and eat fries and cheesy, bacony, burgers all day long!! The service is great there. Everyone is so nice and they are so quick, even at their busiest time.

Recommended by co-worker. I forgot she come a Mercedes driven family and I come from the used Chevy bunch. Food a little pricey but very good. Burgers are juicy, fries are fresh and the "while you wait" peanuts are nicely salted & fresh too. 5 guys classify as one of my specialty restaurants. I take those who I want to impress to my specialty restaurants. I shall return.

I had a great experience here. The food was great as well. I was expecting to be amazed after all the buzz Ive heard but I wasnt. The food is fine, I just wasnt blown away. The prices are a bit much for me as well. There are a lot of options, so the food should be outstanding if its a bit pricey.

I liked this place because they are not showing an attitude when we order and they give peanuts and we dont have to pay and they have delicious options to eat and we dont have to wait for a long time they make it fast and quick so we dont get angry. Thank you for your time

Friendly and relatively quick service considering the line. There is something magical about unwrapping a burger and trying to figure how in the heck youre going to eat it. The freestyle Coke machine was cool, too. Quite a few dirty tables, though.

Its a Five Guys, you get what you expect. Quality burgers at a bit of a premium. Staff here are all fairly amiable and will get through reasonably quickly. They have a really neat Coke Freestyle machine for beverages.

They love to get your order wrong and try to fix it by throwing extra fries in your bag. If they can get your order right, the food is excellent. Very high prices tho. But yea, five guys.
